Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
She has wheezing, trouble swallowing and coughing up flem, coughing, stridor and fainting. They were so sure they were going to do the cardiac surgery. We even had the cardioligist tell us that the surgery schedular will be calling us. He then called a week later and said that they decided they do not need to do the procedure after looking at her MRI angiogram again. He said she is ok and can participate in ANY activity and her fainting is from just being a teenager.
My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!

We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.

IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!

He left the high altitude of Colorado, maintained his diet and exercise program and went to New Zealand & Thailand for 8 months. 2 months after returning to Colorado he had his 3rd seizure after fasting for a day. He had just recovered from a sinus infection and was on eye antibiotics for a sliver in the eye. (Glucose was at 62) He was put on Keppra 500m twice a day. His EEG was normal 2 days later.
AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.

His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!

Goats milk is really comparable to breastmilk honestly I don't like formula it stinks and makes babies throw up more and stains. Goats milk is natural and a little more expensive if you can find it.
