Sorry to bring a goat question in, but a fellow breeder and I raise meat goats. We butcher goats all the time and always check all the organs to make sure everything looks as it should. Well, the last 4 goats we did, had really enlarged soft hearts. The valve was very big. Nothing like we had ever seen.
My family and I had just gotten a pair of two pygmy goats a few days ago from a nearby auction house. We got a younger goat (about 2-3 months old) and a younger adult goat (about 8 months). They are just getting used to people now and i noticed that up close, the 12-3 month old had greenish discharge coming from his nose. He's been sneezing quite a bit latley and i dont know whats wrong with the little guy! please help!

We used them on military bases forty years ago, particuliary around ammunition and chemical storage bunkers. A regular mower could not be used. These were often irregularly shaped high mounds. The idea was to have six foot of earth over the explosives. The goats would climb on them and keep the weeds down, which helped with security.
I don't know much about pygmy goats, as we only have boer goats (a large meat goat breed). I can tell you from my experience with the boer goats, they do tend to cough occasionally regardless of their age. At least with our goats the coughing is normal and has not ever been a symptom of any health problem. Hope this helps.
Dog was a rescue dog from a local shelter who clearly had not been seen by a vet before adoption. Dog was seriously underweight at adoption (< 15kg against normal of 20-22kg).
At the first post-adoption checkup (ca. 15 Dec 09) at our normal vet, she found a prominent murmur. X-rays showed a hugely enlarged heart. Diuretics were started pending an appointment with a veterinary cardiologist.
IT has been known for ages that it increases blood flow and will decrease the pain. I use peppermint goats milk lotion and its a life saver! Cheap and worth it!!
AND the meat itself had like individual strands of the goats fur so I'm scared if the goat licked itself and the saliva got everywhere. May have eaten it since I didn't have time to take those off one by one.
The risk of listeria in soft cheeses and raw milk has me scared.
His favourite food is muscles (which I had once in a restaurant) and goats cheese (again had on a couple of occasions!) Planning on doing the same with this one, have had one date night since 12 weeks and enjoyed a goats cheese tart!
Any mothers considering adoption? If so please explain. I am going to put my little one up for open adoption for multiple reasons. I feel this is the best decision for my little one.
I think sometimes giving a child up for adoption is the most loving thing you can do for that baby. When we are not in the position to offer a stable environment, comfortable life for a child, it can be the best thing to allow another couple to take on the responsibility. It shows what a great mama you are to even consider it! so many romanticize what it will be like to be a parent and it is the child who suffers.
I wouldn't worry what others think.

I was raped too, when I was very young. Both fortunately & unfortunately, I was too young for pregnancy to be an option-but if it had been, I think it would have been hard for me too. I still occasionally wake up in a cold sweat with the sensation of him inside me & I cry myself back to sleep. Its been 25 years. I think you should try to focus on how happy your boyfriend is, sometimes that can be infectious.
I'm having mixed feelings about keeping this baby. The baby daddy isn't really stepping up like I need him to. And I don't have a job and I haven't finished school so I've really been thinking about adoption. I have a good family that can't have children, and have offered to pay off my debt to school so I can finish college if I give them this chance at being parents.
Go to communities and look at the adoption app. That will help you out a lot since all those women have been through it.
It's never too late to choose adoption. Adoption is one of the most selfless things you could do for your baby! I think you seem like a smart woman..
If you can't give your baby the best given your current situation it may be a good option. The dad doesn't sound stable...and smoking is very bad for babies lungs. If you do choose adoption make sure you use a reputable agency!, There is such a thing as an open adoption... you'd get a few updates/pics every year...
