Last night I was standin in the kitchen having a cup of tea and chatting to a friend when all of a sudden I felt really tired and incredibly nauseas, my ears started ringing like i was going deaf. The room got narrow and darker and i felt like i was getting really dizziness accompanied by a sharp stabbing headache...all i could get out was 'Im really feeling sick' and i needed to lay down immediately because i felt like i was either going to puke or pass out.

I walk in and look at some of the snacks ans start feeling sick to my stomach. I fill up a cup a sit it down. My hearing faded out. I got really hot and got light headed and blacked out/fainted. I just thought my knees gave out but everyone insisted i fainted. I stood back up and it happend again. Paramedics were called checked my blood sugar which was 89. Kind of low but not really. I weny to the hospital to get the baby checked out. Im 22 weeks. I felt her moving and she had a heart beat.
I have always been prone to fainting due to being anemic so easily.. When I got pregnant it got worse and I fainted more.. I started taking iron capsules and pre natals with iron..
I had horrible timing with my fainting spells last pregnancy. I was always really sick with morning sickness and once I passed out while on the stairs and fell down half of them. Woke up at the bottom of the stairs so confused. It's an unfortunate thing but also a bit normal. The amount of blood in your body is increasing and that is usually what causes it. If it happens a lot you should definitely go in and get some blood work done.
I'm 18+4 today I went to payless nd was feeling fine. I got up to the counted and suddenly I'm dizzy, really hot and shaky my ears start ringing and my eyesight goes black, next thing I know I'm on the floor with my best friend leaning over me asking if I'm okay. It was really scary. I sat down for a little bit and drank somewater and was able to drive myself hhome. I called my ob and they didn't seem to worried said it was a pr etty common side effect of pregnancy.

I went in the shower and felt faint, called for my Mum and after a few seconds I did actually faint and lose consciousness. For the next few weeks I was feeling really tired all the time, nauseated and getting bouts of dizziness so I basically spent weeks in bed. Due to being so inactive and hardly eating I ended up in hospital for 5 days with painful impacted constipation.
I hate the feeling of standing for so long and I get hot and dizzy my job as a home health aid I have to stand for a bit but my legs start to feel like jello and I hate it
So i was at the store today, and out of no where i started feeling nauseous and clammy. And then it was like i was in a tunnel and couldnt hear or see anything clearly. Next thing i know im on the floor looking around. So i fainted. First time in my life. Im 16 weeks. Is it normal? Has this happened to any of y'all? And i was down for just a few seconds.
15 am. My blood pressure was high for me butit came down pretty quickly. They gave me fluids but iI didn't appear to be dehydrated according to them and it was a precautionary step. They also have me benadryl and duladid(sp) and I was discharged at 4:30am. Went in for my anatomy scan in the morning (baby boy like I said!!!! :)) and felt pretty faint all day. Well this evening around 4pm, it got worse so I tried some honey to see if that would help cuz some sites suggested it.
A couple years ago I began feeling anxious about my fainting episodes. Now it is constantly on my mind. I'm always assuming I "might" faint in the most horrible of circumstances. I worry about crossing the street!
I have an assistance dog now that has almost completely cured me from my anxiety. Thank goodness! Does anyone else have a fainting phobia?
I wouldn't think that it was too common. I suppose it is related to your response to either pain or just the general surroundings. Some people get a sick or faint feeling when even going into a hospital. It's just a human reaction and everyone reacts differently to all kinds of situations. I wouldn't worry about it but you might mention it if you have any other type of procedure done in the future so the staff will be alert in case it might happen again. Regards ....
recently i've been feeling really hot and faint. it's got to the point that i've nearly passed out. anyone got any advice on this. what causes it? how to manage it? or how to stop it?
ve fainted a couple of times And Bern able to save myself from fainting a few times by sitting down legs elevated And drinking a bottle of water.
I don't know if I am in the right place for this or not, but I have been fainting since I was 13 (now 30). It used to happen for no apparent reason (not from stress) & I went through many tests (EEG, EKG, etc) before they did the tilt-table test & figured out it was when adreneline was released into my system that heart rate went up/blood pressure down. I was on nadalol (sp)?
