7915225 tn?1539215847 Ever since i gave birth to my lil boy on the 2/04/2014 i am experiencing back pains everyday and it hurts so BAD sometimes i cant sleep or get out of bed. I had no injection or pills before, during and after labor for anything. I am geting prevention injection every 2months (nur-instrate). It seems to get worse and i think its spreading to my shoulders. Anybody experiencincing this? What could be the cause? Please help if you know anything. Thank you!
Avatar f tn This is my first and I am completely freaking out about ripping and tearing and stitches and pooping during labor. Please tell me these horror stories can be avoided or don't happen to everyone.
Avatar n tn I had my cardiologist send my OB reccomendations of what to do during my labor and delivery. When I went into labor, all the medications were ready and waiting in case they needed anything. I was monitored during the entire labor. My cardiologist suggested that I have an epidural very early in my labor, which I did, so that the prolonged pain of labor didnt worsen my arrhythmias. This plan worked very well for me and I did not have any issues throughout the entire labor and delivery.
Avatar f tn You can, but I used to wear those and they can be pretty uncomfortable and labor is pretty uncomfortable, lol. I would honestly go as comfortable as you can so you can relax and rest. Even if people take pictures, people understand that you're going through labor and you don't need to be a beauty queen, im sure youre beautiful without them.
608148 tn?1262803709 The second delivery is almost always easier than the first. The labor pains are just as bad, but the pushing and the actual delivery are usually MUCH easier. Your bladder will probably not be as traumatized either. There is not too much you can do about your weight when you are pregnant. Obviously no one should INTENTIONALLY lose weight. The standard advice is to eat frequent small meals. Keep something in your stomach, but not too much!
Avatar m tn I heard that I may not get epidural during labor. i was diagnosed almost two years ago and the only time I felt pain was a year ago. my questions: will I need to go through a c section? can I get an epidural during labor. I feel anxious just thinking about going through labor without epidural...
Avatar f tn My dad was there when I had my first. I thought it would be awkward at first but I have a great relationship with my dad so it really wasn't. Plus during labor my bd started getting faint and had to sit down so my dad was there to help hold my leg.
Avatar f tn and dr said it was normal my HR 173 during labor and delivery and we were fine. It will return to normal after delivery.
Avatar f tn I know this is a very extremely personal question for a lot of us moms, but I have to ask if any of you moms pooped during delivery? I know this exists--that it does happen and that it's exactly how you should push. If so, what was the experience like and was epidural helpful to push your little one out? And if not, what did you do prior to being transported to the hospital?
Avatar f tn My first pregnancy I was worried until towards the end but I kept saying she got in there she has to come out some how lol. You will be suprised what your body can handle during labor and delivery.
9041091 tn?1410417329 I had to before I got induced and with my other, the nurses gave me an enema when I was admitted into labor and delivery.
Avatar f tn Breathing will get you through most of labor just fine - and you still need to breathe effectively during the pushing stage - but you can't breathe out a baby. It's still a big head and a little hole, it's not quite that easy. That's how it was for my birth experience, anyway... YMMV. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I didn't have it with my labor but I've had it with other procedures/surgeries and it just makes you loopy and not focused on what's going on... But then again, labor is very painful and besides completely numbing your lower half, I'm not sure if anything can take your mind off of the pain!!
Avatar f tn I was wondering if it is true some women poop during delivery? Is there anyway to avoid that???
1979414 tn?1337803349 m curious how your delivery went, and if your pvcs, pacs went away after delivery. I developed ventriculur tachycardia and pvcs during my recent pregnancy. Cardiologists insisted that I had a c section. Their thinking was that if I had arrythmia during labor, the baby might not get enough blood. The c section went well, but my heart went a little crazy after delivery. I had to be monitored during my hospital stay. My heart has since calmed down.
7557112 tn?1399509472 So soon I'll be giving birth (48 days) left :D& i was wondering if I could drink tea to help me relax during labor . I have bad anxiety so I don't wanna feel all crazy & stuff In the moment just chilled out & focus on my breathing techniques to help cope with the pain. Some women drink water so is tea acceptable?
94902 tn?1330479667 I take metaprolol daily to help, but my body has never been through something like labor and delivery and I am scared to death that something bad will happen to me. Has anyone been through labor and delivery that has irregular heartbeats? Any stories, personal experiences, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Oh - and i have had anxiety ever since the first tachycardia attack as well.
Avatar f tn I was given an orange popsicle. threw it all up. I didn't have a c section, But nausea is very common during labor and delivery and throwing up when delivering is NO fun.
Avatar n tn ve been losing sleep thinking for weeks about the idea of either myself or the baby dying during delivery .. I have very good doctors and an amazing hospital but I'm anemic I tend to lose a lot of blood when I do bleed. I'm horrible with any pain .. I don't think my body can handle it! And people keep telling me about how I'll tear ? Which worries me I'll bleed more. It's making me so worried .. Does it occur often ??
Avatar f tn And even if you do experience “pre labor diarrhea” you might still poop during delivery and that is okay! #9 DON’T limit your food intake during labor if you are hungry because you are afraid that you will poop (or throw up for that matter). A runner does not prepare for a marathon by starving themselves and you shouldn’t prepare for birth by starving yourself either. Both you and your baby need energy to have the endurance for a successful vaginal birth.
434240 tn?1216392070 My DH is not going to be in the delivery room with me, let alone stay at the hospital. He had the same complaints that your DH did last time and we have a 3 year old, so figured it would be best if the baby and I stayed there ourselves. That way we don't have to worry about who is going to have DD when I'm in labor and recovering. Plus him and I do NOT deal well with each other during labor and delivery. I choked him last time and he almost passed out when my water broke.
Avatar f tn Is Labor & Delivery Bad ? LOL Everyone's Telling Me Its Gonna Hurt And They Got Me Scared Cause This Is My First Child lol!
Avatar f tn But you never know when the baby can come, earlier or later. So there is a chance he might not be there during delivery. I know my mom will want to be inside the delivery room, part of me it's okay with it if my husband don't make it. But if my husband makes it on time, I will just have him there. I'm very private person, I'm soo uncomfortable about the whole childbirth process. My legs up, & looking into my vagina. This my first pregnancy, I don't know what to expect.
1994124 tn?1422574099 Its very educational and I think it would greatly help us in dealing with our own labor and delivery. Just sharing.
Avatar f tn I am very hesitant about this as I will be quite restricted in positions and movement during labor which are important to me as I would like a natural birth. Has anyone else experienced this and have any tips to help? Would monitoring via a doppler and midwife checks on a more regular basis be just as good? I do not want to put bubs at harm but from what I have read continual monitoring equals more painful labor and increased chance of c sections.
