Fainting and urinating

Common Questions and Answers about Fainting and urinating

fainting

one moment I'm fine, then one moment it's there like I felt like bending my body to avoid it. I also had trouble urinating with very little and a weak output, as if gravity was having it come out in small amounts and not the normal reflex. It was the typical color and had no discoloration, like pink or red. The sound from the speakers even vibrated my lower abdomen, a few of the times bothering it, and the place was heavily smokey.

If you got out of bed in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom still sort of sleepy your fainting spell could easily have been vasovagal syncope. Its pretty common and occurs when your BP drops inappropriately (can be induced by many many things).
We put his earring in without to much difficulty and he said he had to go to the bathroom. While urinating he fell over on the floor and fainted. He was making a snoring nose. His brother and I tried to wake him. I ran to call 911 and while I was on the phone he came too (was out for maybe a minute). The last he remembered was feeling slightly sick to his stomach and dizzy all of a sudden. He seemed fine, but the EMTs took all of his vitals (including blood sugar).
If my husband should keep hydrated to prevent fainting when its very hot outside, he'd really have a problem. He has a bladder problem which stems back to his prostate problem. He'd be in the bathroom constantly. As it is he is in here every hour and still has urine retention which greatly effects his comfort level. Urologist isn't doing much to help him. Do people with MS have to use catheters as a rule, or is this a unusual problem?
That's a classic seizure, trembling and urinating. Why does the doctor not think it's a seizure, do you know? Has he had all three episodes in church? I wonder if there's a lighting problem in there that causes a strobe affect or some other seizure precurser.
I've got a liver disorder, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), gluten intollerence, electrolyte embalence, history of dizzieness/fainting, and I had a benign tumor removed from my arm. Lately, my hands have been shaking, and sometimes the shaking spreads up my arms and in to my torso. Sometimes, the dizziness is so bad I've been known to injure myself. I've fallen down the steps four or five times now.
One of doctors have done Tilt-Table test and he could reproduce similar situation where my brother felt like he is fainting. The doc said that there is no cure for this. One should drink lot of wanter before urinating. He has fainted twice while urinating and once while just standing. I am scared because this can happen anytime (say driving). Please advise what is the cure for this - What can cause this and how we can cure this.
This happened when he was 2 yrs old, after a bug bite and again in November 2008 when he woke up one morning said he had a slight headache, he was urinating and he passed out, body locked up. Again EMS felt like he was ok and we didnt need to transport. He had a brain scan when he was 2 after fainting but hasnt seen a doctor for this otherwise. I hear of things like Prolonged QT and I worry.
My son is 13 yrs too and has had 3 eposides of fainting. One at church and he said he didnt feel good and fainted. 2nd after he got out of the shower he just fainted and then fainted at the drs office after gettin his imunization shots. They are going to give him an ultra sound on the heart to see but he has been checked out blood EKG and all came back normal???
) and can cause fainting spells. You do need to sit on the side of bed and let your feet dangle a few minutes to help your body adjust. Dangling of the the legs and feet will help regulate the blood pressure and help (hopeful) make less work for the vagus nerve. Do you have all the dangerous items on your way to the bathroom from the bedroom removed? Are all rugs removed from your path in the bathroom? Do you have a cane? If so, use it! I hope they have an answer soon.
This isn't a cure for the cause of what's making all this happen, but my belief is that i have some sort of internal blockage again that causes the cramps, and because of the fizzyness of the japps that its forcing the food past this blockage and relieving me of the terrible pain and stopping me from fainting and smashing my head and face to pieces. I really hope this can bring relief to people suffering as i know how bad these episodes make you feel, not only physically but mentally.
I got down on my hands and knees and crawled to the bathroom. I felt nauseous and the blurry vision and lightheadedness got worse while I was urinating and then started having loose stools, I was even closer to fainting. I don't remember how I got back to bed. I have low BP, but haven't come quite that close to fainting except for some mild hemorrhaging during a period. I'm still having some dizziness, some headache, a bit of vertigo or disequilibrium.
Now everytime I get up I get the ringing in my ears and the fainting feeling. Is this normal?? I was really sick last night. Thanks for any input.
This morning she experienced dizziness and the racing pulse sensation while urinating and tried to make it back to the bedroom but fainted and collapsed enroute. She revived in a few seconds, said she was fine and refused to allow another trip to the ER. I took her BP before she got up and it was 124 over 74, pulse 86. She is resting now and seems fine but I am concerned, and at a loss.
in august i had sex 3 times in one evening and blood came out in my semen the third time.i then urinated blood and a clot came out at the end. i consulted a urologist and we found that my psa level was very high for my age and normal for a 50 yr old.a transrectal ultrasound followed by a prostate biopsy showed no sign whatsoever of any type of inflammation or anomaly.

after reading a million books, going to seminars, taking part in many forums like this, etc etc, I know that this is so common with anxiety and panic. Some people fear fainting, some people fear urinating, some fear vomiting, some fear pooping. When you break it down...we don't actually fear those things AT ALL, we fear being "out of control". Hopefully I have made you feel a lil better knowing you aren't alone. So, yes, diarrhea is obviously a common symptom of anxiety.
I suggest you consult your PCP. Rule out the serious possibilities and go from there. I wish you well and hope you will make that appointment asap.
On Saturday my palms of my hands turned blue for about 15 seconds. I have gone to my GP and had a 12 lead ECG and the doctor said my ECG was normal and the heart sounds very strong. I understand a PVC (periventricular contraction) may not be seen on an ECG. I did see irregular heartbeat as a serious side effect of flexeril. I'm going again tomorrow to perhaps get off of flexeril and maybe get a monitor to take home. Has anyone had this happen to them when on Flexeril?
Ok ive had diabetes for 5 years this coming week and i am 15 years old. Diabetes has deffinently changed the way that i go out with friends and i relieze that i cant do all the things that they do to have fun, like drink alcohol. I know that alcohol and diabetes doesnt mix but im curious to know if marijuana has any other side effects on a person with diabetes or if it is still the same as a non diabetic.
I had IVF so I KNEW when there were embryos inside me and when they should be implanting, and I still couldn't tell during the 2ww either that I was pregnant or that I was not. Lower body cramps, etc. were all the same. I remember being really surprised to get an HPT that was positive, and wouldn't have been so surprised if I had known through my female intuition that the IVF had worked. That said, some ladies do say they just knew.
If I do any physical activity my hands and feet will turn very red and be very hot and I can feel the heat radiating off my hands and feet. If I am outside and the weather is hot and I am wearing flipflops my feet will get beat red and so will my hands. I dont feel any pain but it is uncomfortable because i can feel something happening in my feet and even my legs. If i take a hot shower my feet and legs become beat red and my legs get blue even and I dont know why.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that vasovagal syncope although could be triggered off by GERD, making you to pass out, there are also lots of other reasons for passing out, dehydration being another reason. You can find lots more information and triggers with regard to vasovagal syncope and fainting on the web. There are numerous triggers, to much for me to write them all down here.
Oh yea, definitely don't attempt both of those at the same time...really dangerous combination lol... & I get woozy if I sqwat down or bend over to look in the fridge or bottom cabinets....yet another simple everyday task that we get to consider a risk ti do that anyone non chiari would be like, but that's silly, how can that ne dangerous to do?
As soon as I get into a place I get so dizzy and my vision is all messed up. I get so hot and sweaty and my heart races. I want my life back. I still dont believe that its just anxiety causing all of this. I feel like I have something else wrong that the doctors cant find even though i have had bloodwork, mri, ekg, and they were all normal. I started taking .25mg of xanax once a day. still dont feel any better yet. So if anybody has any help please give it to me.
I guess I just figured that if the #'s were really high I would just go ahead and have somone go in there and have a look around- and if the #'s are low I will wait the three months? So realisticly ther is no way to tell if these are symptoms of Endo accompanied by endometrial cysts, Ovarian cancer or hemmoragic cysts- The "specialists" think the large cyst is hemmoragic- what to do ?
I ended up getting my period and it only lasted 2 days and it was heavy. I did a home pregnancy test and it was one blue line and a half unfortunately the pregnancy test was a very old one that I got from my fionce's mum. A day later I went to the doctors just to be sure and I did another pregnancy test there and it turned out negative. I was very sad to here it was negative and ever since I still keep thinking I am when it was 1 week ago.
I also have a higher rate of fainting immediately after urinating than at other times during the day, relatively speaking. It turns out there's a branch of the autonomic nervous system that runs down to the bladder and that not only does it send signals to your bladder, but it gets signals FROM your bladder (duh!). This sounds so obvious now that I say it, but it was a huge AHA moment for me when I finally sat there staring at that sacral nerve in a book with a scowl on my face.
