Avatar n tn We recently traveled on a long flight together, and within an hour of take-off, my husband was dozing on and off, and he sat forward and started digging in the seat pocket. I asked him what he was looking for, and he said he didn't feel well. He then slumped over toward me like he fainted. I tried to sit him up, and he became somewhat rigid, with his eyes rolled back and non-responsive. He also urinated on himself again.

Avatar f tn I think the problem was that I was feeling anxious about flying (and being away from home, a place where I feel safe-ish). In the end I was swayed by my mothers arguement for taking aspirin. I guess this was partly out of fear and partly due to lack of decision making. Some of that was about seeing my mother stop breathing and watching her being intubated while some is about the excess psych meds I've taken and the perceived damage from that.

Avatar n tn My biggest concern is the dizziness and fainting and incredible fatigue. The fatigue has gotten worse over the years but my sleep apnea is managed well with CPAP and nothing else ever seemed wrong physically so I have just dealt with it by making sure I get plenty of rest and strictly pacing my activity level. My sense is something is not right but none of the tests seem all that unusual. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what might be up with this?
Avatar f tn I am glad your daughter's EEG turned out to be normal, and as the medhelp doctor suggested, it's good that a tilt-table test has been scheduled. However, if the tilt-table test is negative, before concentrating on anxiety as the sole cause of the fainting, please follow up on the advice of the doctor here and google terms like 'syncopal migraine' and 'migraine with syncope.
Avatar f tn Symptoms include sudden, copious sweating, very rapid heart rate, a desire to get the hell out, NOW, fainting (or feeling like it) and numerous other sensations which are very sharp and frightening. Sometimes, to avoid panic, people stay at home, or can drive west, but not east, etc. As you might suspect, anxiety and panic frequently travel together; the person with PANIC has ANXIETY about when the next panic "attack" may occur, for example.
