Avatar f tn Is anyone else having problems feeling really dizzy or fainting? I passed out last week in the middle of cosco and almost again in Wal-Mart anyone else having or had this problem??
Avatar n tn Since your MRI is normal, could be a vascular type problem. If you're anemic, for example, you'll have that feeling of passing out, which means if there's not enough iron in your blood, you get weak. Or if you have a heart problem of some kind, where the blood isn't pumping up into your head like it should, you will pass out.

Avatar n tn Hello AlanK We are volunteers here & not medical professionals. We do have a lot of experience with Type 1, however. I have read that in the years leading up to a diagnosis of diabetes, some individuals experience the condition of hypoglycemia. Some folks have chronic hypoglycemia, in which their bodies respond to glucose with an oversupply of insulin. In others, this condition seems to be present for a while before diabetes develops.
Avatar f tn It has been going on for over 1 year. Lately I have been fainting and falling alot (very embarrising since I am in High School). Just recently I have also been getting severe leg and back cramps/spasms. I am having a hard time sleeping at night getting only about 3 to 4 hours of sleep. This has also been going on for over 1 year. I have seen several doctors, who have run MRI's, CAT scans and they all have done blood work. Everything always comes up normal.
Avatar m tn This is a post from my two others. I've gotten help out of those two but I was hoping if I got some more answers. So recently my friend has fainted, which was a very scary thing. It happened once in October but had no signs since therefore she did not go to the doctor because she thought there was no sense into doing so. But after this faint she has been worrying. Her cycle came a few days later after the fall, does this have to do with anything?
Avatar n tn So, I'm 16 years old and I faint. I usually get dizzy, my vission goes blurry then dark and I studder my words when the "attack" is happening, then I fall to the floor.. This happened once over the summer and it felt as if my head kept banging against the floor. I could see out of the top of my eyes as if i was looking up. Weird thing is, I felt as if i was thinking but I couldn't move or talk or move my eyes.. The "attack" lasted about a minute and I could get up.
2013201 tn?1330148875 s a little low and that being said was the reason I had these episodes of fainting without fainting ... I got up one time and everything went black and then back to normal, that was weird and then one time I lost my eyesight all together for about 20 minutes and this was called an ocular migraine. I do not have migraines either but my doctor said that a migraine can be felt or not felt I had no idea ... I had no head ache before or after and it's happened to me about three times in my life.

Avatar f tn I googled fainting from an earlier question so I just going to copied and paste what I wrote to the last girl..."Fainting is pretty common in teens. The good news is that most of the time it's not a sign of something serious. When someone faints, it's usually because changes in the nervous system and circulatory system cause a temporary drop in the amount of blood reaching the brain. When the brain is robbed of its blood supply, a person loses consciousness and falls over.

Avatar n tn s disease), low blood sugar levels, and in some cases, diabetes, may lead to hypotension and hence lightheadedness and an off balance feeling. Certain types of epilepsies and seizures too can cause similar symptoms. If you have an accompanying headache then you must also look at benign intracranial hypertension. Heart problems too should be ruled out in your case. If all other tests are normal, maybe an ECHO should be done to rule out mitral valve prolapse.
