Avatar n tn However, if it feels like you might always pass out every time you exercise I might suggest avoiding exercise until you have been properly seen. Stress and anxiety are big triggers for some of the symptoms you mention and taking tests can certainly bring on the anxiety attacks but only a doctor can say for certain whether or not what you are feeling is simple anxiety attacks or something else. I would say avoid the caffeine until you can get properly diagnosed.
Avatar n tn My 20-year-old son keeps fainting with exercise. He has no other health conditions, and has had a stress echo, basic blood work, chest x-ray. He has seen 2 cardiologists and has only been diagnosed with a high voltage ekg. He does not use drugs or alcohol. He fainted twice in his Ju Jitzu class and today playing flag football. He often skips breakfast, and probably doesn't drink enough fluids.
Avatar n tn It is always important to give the name of your diabetes medication/s, the dosage, when you test, the glucose test ranges, your diabetes lifestyle [diet, weight, exercise regimen], and how often the symptom has occurred. Usually this helps to pinpoint a reason for the disturbance, or a search on the intet produces favorable results.
Avatar f tn I haven't done a lot of exercise in the past few years. Recently, I joined a softball team for the first time in 5 years. The first practice that we had, we stretched, ran to the fence and back, and then threw the ball back and forth. Immediately following throwing, I felt very light-headed and sick to my stomach. I ended up vomiting.
Avatar f tn Anyways today I woke up felt fine actually felt great went to the park for about 5 or 6 hours was playing basketball and after a bit I felt like I was like fainting almost. Really weird it passed pretty quick but do you think it was more to the exercise? It was beautiful today in Dallas so we went up the park and I got carried away with the game. Just seeing if this is opiate withdrawal or I was just dehydrated and was over doing it.
Avatar n tn Shortly after passing my annual physical last week, I fainted during the following blood test (fainting in the clinic quite normal for me following needle sticks). After fainting, my pulse was 110 and my BP was 104/59, and stayed that way for the 20 minutes the nurses insisted I lay in the chair. After fainting, I could feel my heartbeat, and it felt fluttering or irregular. I have felt the sensation before, and it usually quickly clears up on it's own.

Avatar m tn I cycled 10 miles in 30 mins and when i got back i could barely walk to my room without fainting.. About 20 / 30 mins after doing this sort of intense exercise i get these sensations / twinges in my heart area and a feeling of not being with it.. To add to this, ive noticed that when i eat certain foods or a lot of food i become light headed and my pulse goes up to about 80/bpm.
Avatar n tn Since then, my exercise routine has fallen off to almost nothing. 1-3 times a year I faint for no apparent reason, usually to awake and recover within 15 mins. I also get lighted headed a few times a year but do not faint. I had an EKG/ECHO done 2 years ago, DR said I probably had either PVC's or PAC's and said to not worry unless I was constantly symptomatic. Is this something I should be concerned with? Could I have heart trouble at this age? Am I going to die?
Avatar f tn hi there, I have terrible bouts of falling ill either immediatly or hours after I exercise, its mainly when I do cardio. Occaionally this happens even if I have not exercised. I am very concious with what I eat and how much water I drink.
Avatar n tn Hi, I fainted after playing tennis for about 5-10 minutes. This happened to me years ago while working out in a gym. I haven't done any strenuous exercise in years-- I walk instead of driving, but I am otherwise very sedentary. I am a slender 23 year old female. I have no history of illness. The only possibly related anomalies I have experienced are vasovagal syncope after blood tests, injections etc.
Avatar f tn I sort of know I'm going to faint/blackout as I start to sweat and get a severe headache, the headache feels like a preaxure that has built up and the only way my body can relieve it is by "Fainting/Blacking Out".

Avatar m tn My heart beat goes down occassionally during the day time, which is less than 50. Every morning after I wake up, it is around 43. Fewdays ago, when I got down in a Railway station (5 am in the morning) and carried my luggages (30-35 kgs) and climbed in steps and changed to another platform. After boarding in the other train, I started sweating profusely and my whole dress was wet. Within just few minutes everything become black and I fainted.
Avatar f tn A Year ago when I used to exercise everyday I used to feel really tired and unusual afterwards, Out of a sudden I would feel severe spinning in my head, like a fainting episode with tunnel vision and sweating, headache, nausea and dizziness - then I would stop exercising and have to lay down because I would feel extremely tired. Back then it used to happen only when I exercised, Now this episodes happens everyday (even without exercising).
Avatar f tn Over the past few weeks, I randomly have these episodes. I start feeling like the walls are going to close in on me. I feel like I may pass out (hasn't actually happened, I don't think I've ever fainted in my life) and usually have to hold onto something so that I don't fall over. I also feel like I'm going to throw up, and I usually can stop that from happening. I noticed the last time this happened that I start sweating a lot. I'm 19.
1059772 tn?1286655190 hi all, I have had this experience twice now on a tread mill where I see stars and start to faint. However, I don't have this problem with swimming or cycling. Does anyone know why the exercise on a tread mill would be different? I wasn't running, just walking fast. Unfortunately, I have easy access to a treadmill but the pool is quite the hike. Thanks, skye (finally feeling well enough to move it!
203342 tn?1328737207 I had this problem for years, they were convinced it was a blood sugar problem. Turns out I have a heart condition, where my blood pressure drops and my heart has a hard time pumping blood up to my brain. The only treatment they can give me is exercise (which has helped, I haven't fainted in 6 years) and to sit down if I have to stand for more than 10 minutes or so. Hope this helps, best of luck!
Avatar n tn I cannot hold my breath at all anymore, with going into a headrush and fainting (and, when I do get these near fainting, and start breathing again, I feel very nauseated as my heart begins pounding away in my chest and abdomen again)
Avatar m tn I'm almost 40, have about 17% body fat and I exercise moderately but regularly...certainly no Lance Armstrong. My normal resting HR is typically low 50s. Sometimes, especially when first waking up I check it in bed and shortly after arising and it will be as low as 45. This, by definition is bradycardia, so should I be concerned? Secondly does a low HR correlate with a lower breathing rate?
Avatar f tn Hi, i am 16years old. Recently, i've always been feeling dizzy after exercise. Even the exercise wasnt a tired one or even after i keep walking around for some time, once i stop i'll feel very dizzy and feels like almost fainting.
