Hi, i'm an 11 Year old boy, and have noticed over the past 6 monthes or so, i've gotten a Non Itching Facial Rash, it is ONLY on my cheeks, my nose is normal, around my eyes is normal, but only my cheeks have it. Also, when i first noticed it, it was on my legs, in fall, and my parents took no action! I also have non raised, non itching red dots on my upper arm, around the palm of my hand, on the top of my hand, on the sides and top of my feet, and on my legs.

I have been to 3 dermatologists now for this, over the last 9 months. It is a facial rash. Itchy, bumps. Not really a pimple because there is no head. I have no flushing, just irritated skin. I have been through allergy testing, nothing showed up. I have been through treatment for rosacea, nothing helped. I tried treatment for steriod rosacea, again did not help. And finally this last week I went to a dr. who said it could be a yeast rash.
I have very few eyebrows, and the skin where they should be my skin is usually red, occaisonally a bit dry. It doesn't itch at all, and doesn't flake. I have never been diagnosed with eczema, although my elbows and forarms do sometimes get very dry and a bit flakey. It has been like this since I was a child I am told, and was wondering if there is anything I can do to bring down the redness, and ultimately, get my eyebrows growing back a bit! Many thanks.
i used this once and my underarms broke out in hives, then the skin dried up and got real itchy and it seems as though my body is replacing the old skin with new skin which is really sensitive and burns when i put deoderant on, i cannot stand tide and now i have gone back to using gain, i hope my condition will eventually subside, i have re washed all my clothes with gain and am just trying to wait this condition out
that's is most likely not skin cancer at all. it sounds like tinea versicolor possibly. google that term and look at the images. if that's what you have it is a fungal infection that is often times caught in tanning beds. that is absolutely not the only place people catch it, but common. and it is very very common on the chest and back. easily treatable. you'll need a prescription. skin cancer comes by way of scaly sores, weird bumps , lesions etc.
Interested to see what he finds. My visit today explains my thick long facial hair and they took pictures of that also. What they saw is nothing because I trim it every few days. The hair is a symptom of PCT also. I go back in two weeks so I'll keep you posted. Doctor visit tomorrow and Monday also. I've had more visits post tx than during. Its always something!
I mean, herpes is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, which is what occured here. Granted, most cases of herpes transmitted outside the "traditional" areas are due to cuts in the skin (like herpetic whitlow, which I have from an autoinoculation from my HSV-1 cold sores). And yes, she'd have to have HSV-2, have been shedding virus at that time, and the virus would have had to have gone through intact skin.
I posted this info before, but it was a reply to someone else's similar post... I am a 23 year old healthy male. I recently had a full physical and the results were that I am in above average health. I have no diseases, do not use drugs, but drink on occasion. Anyways, just started noticing these strange symptoms, within the past few weeks. Nothing "brought it on" so to speak that I can tell of.
It may work by soothing the skin. Other possibility is of erythroderma. It is a generalized skin disorder characterized by reddening and scaling of the skin and produced by several skin diseases, such as psoriasis, contact dermatitis, drug reactions, and mycosis fungoides (a cutaneous lymphoma). I feel that an examination by a dermatologist will be the best.Other conditions like liver and kidney disorders, diabetes, iron deficiency anemia and thyroid disorders also have to be ruled out.
Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also. Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :( Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.
Acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, photosensitivity, seborrhoeic or atopic eczema, some forms of lupus erythematosus, or dermatomyositis. Are there other signs or symptoms present? If you have a history of allergies, this may be an allergic reaction or perioral dermatitis. It is important to keep your face clean and dry. Avoid manipulating the lesions.
Might be worthwhile to take some sharp pictures of those rashes with good light and present them to the MD so that they can see the different stages of this skin problem to help in diagnosing.
Recently i went for a full test as i developed rashes all over my body. Some of the pimple on my shoulder and back resemble the yellowish liquid which i saw in the pictures for herpes. Eventually i tested positive for HSV-type 1. Was wondering if the yellowish liquid symptoms belong to type 1 or type 2 or could be either 1 as i went for a full test 2-3 weeks after my last sexual intercourse. Another thing im most worried about is spreading it to others.
The bumps didn't necessarily look abnormal, I have acne on my skin in weird places, but it almost never irritates the skin. The skin around those areas was dry and after nearly every shower, the rashes appeared in the exact same spots. This didn't resemble an HIV rash from the pictures on the internet, though, so I calmed myself down. I still had no rash on my hands or feet, which was the most common place.
Hello, I've seen a dermatologist about a skin condition that I have on my face, but they could not figure out what it was. It did not fit into any categories of skin conditions like acne, rosacea, etc. They tried many oral and topical medications but nothing worked. Here are some links to pictures, http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/9291/dsc00854vm5.jpg http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/2770/dsc00859hd4.
This rash is mostly on my upper chest lower neck area in smaller spots, it's there for a few days then goes away, this is the third or fourth occasion that it comes and goes. A few months ago I had a similar symptom on my side, but I just thought it was all from dry skin or an allergic reaction. It has since not come back on my side only my neck. My doctor does not know that I'm gay though.
There are slightly different rashes for Incivek, Ribavirin and Bocepravir. So saying, these rashes should be treated immediately. I don't know what 4 doctors in the same office have suggested, but he needs to get onto strong ointments NOW. Not over the counter meds. For itch he needs to be prescribed antihistamines to calm the itch. Overthe counter products are not strong enough. These rashes are one of the most common reasons people have to stop treatment.
Serious Skin Reactions Serious skin reactions, including Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) were reported in less than 1% of subjects who received INCIVEK combination treatment compared to none who received peginterferon alfa and ribavirin alone. These serious skin reactions required hospitalization, and all patients recovered.
well my blood tests have come back negative for herpes. I am so relieved. Doctor said that the spots I had were more than likely an inflammation reaction from a yeast infection (which I initially thought I had) and that the Canasten I used to treat that would not have cleared them up and not have stopped the itching or burning I was experiencing.
I also wanted to know what those #s (the ones on my diagnosis)meant. My skin Dr. took a culture from one of my rashes on the left side of my head, and it came out positive (proving that I have a lession on my head as well) All the symptoms I have now, are due to the postherpedic neuralgia that follows an HSV outbreak. My GYN is the one who tested me last, and said that I was active.

I experience some hives and itching - but I notice it mostly after walking. (I'm trying to walk for exercise) As soon as I am finished walking almost instantly the itching begins. I walk indoors in clean clothes and clean environment so it's not anything that bites. However, when I scratch (usually my legs and abdomen) I will break out in hives that look like mosquito bites. They stay raised for just few minutes and disappear. My thoughts was my dry skin from being Hypothyroid.
Last year, a month or so before my daughter got married, I started getting hives (or what I thought to be hives). Bumps under my skin that came and went and itched and my face became flustered. I thought I was just stressed out and it would go away. They never went away but rather started turning into blisters that itched as they erupted, broke open and seeped clear liquid, then scabbed over.
here's my take, people with soft and sensitive skin should endeavor to use exfoliating soaps or creams, facial and body bath scrubs, sponges less often or possibly never at all.
It is conceivable your partner has a longstanding, asymptomatic genital HSV infection that has only now been transmitted -- but that also seems unlikely. The majority of genital skin rashes are not due to STDs; most are simply genital involvement of garden variety dermatological conditions that can occur in other locations. If you are uncircumcised and most of the lesions are under the foreskin, a yeast infection might be possible.
Are you saying that your regular doctor thinks you need to reduce the medication? I think I mentioned that others have had bad rashes, I saw the pictures some reminded me of poison ivy or chicken pox. You could also try a dermotologist. The first time I treated I could get no help from my hepatologist, he kept telling me my side effects were not related to my tx, they were.
Twitching from head to toe, numbness, weakness, vision problems, partial paralysis, burning, cold, hot, stabbing and other skin sensations. I had bizarre rashes all over my body for weeks on end, fevers, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throats, ear ringing, severe brain fog, elevated liver enzymes. I had full work-up for MS and it was negative. I was told I had a "non-specific" virus and a central nervous system disorder but he "had no idea" what it was.
