I have had 3 sessions of chiropractic care, 2 sessions of facial muscles massage in combination with lymphatic drainage. I have one last visit for a facial muscles massage/lymphatic drainage this month. I visited an eye doctor numerous time within the 1st 2 years of BP gathering and using prescribed eye ointments & moisturizing eye drops. I have had various blood tests, MRI and 2 CAT scans ordered by 4 different neurologists.

Oh yeah! I loved the massage part too. It helped me and hubby figure out how to give me a massage comfortably.

I went for a relaxing facial and neck massage, I recently had viral bronchits the prior week which was finally gone. I arrived at home and took a nap I woke up 1/2 hr later to ... Yes & it does help, only it's expensive. My husband has been unemployed for 2 years so we have to cut back on expenses. I do get the massages when I can though. I wish I could get them on a regular basis. I failed to say that I also havae fibromyalgia so the massages does wonders for that when I can get them regularly. I haev 2 friends who are massage therapists who do give me discounts right now, so I am blessed in that respect. Thanks for reminding me of this.

Today I was a little more energy but I went and got a full body 1 hour massage to get alll the toxins out of my system. Still having RLS but went to the Health food store and got a few things. I've had facial tingling/numbness on my right side of my face that intermittently shows up. This has been going on for over 2 years and no it's not Bell's palsy. I've noticed that it typically happens after I've driven in the car for over 45 minutes and get out of the car. Then boom all of a sudden half of my face is numb and tingling. I did not develop Lymphodema after my cancer treatment but because I was having radiation to the bowel, I was seeing a physio for prevention techniques to stop it happening and if it did happen how to manage it. (I had my pelvic lymph nodes removed during my hysterectomy). If you see your doctor and get him to refer you to a physiotherapist that is experienced in lymphatic drainage massage they will be able to show you and treat you with massage that you can actually do at home.
