I have a rash on my face that started about 4 days ago, I don't know what it is but it is REALLY itchy, It's mostly concentrated on my cheeks, and forehead. Mostly my cheeks though, and it extends to my neck and ears. I do have a history of mild acne which has occurred on my forehead and chin but nothing to this extent. I'm dark skinned, or more like tanned so when i get acne i do have hyperpigmentation. Would cortisone help? If not is there any medication you could suggest.
I have had a rash for several years on my face (across nose and cheeks) as well as on my chest (neckline). A doctor told me that it was tinea versicolor. In looking at the images on the net of tinea, I do have spots of it but it is not what the rash on my chest and face is. The rest of the rash is not circular and does not respond to any of the creams or medications given to me. This rash is just a general redness.
I have had this rash on and off for the last few months. As of yesterday it will not go away. It is all over my cheeks and chin and nose and some on my forehead. It's not really itchy. I have taken allergy medicine and Benadryl but it hasn't helped. It isn't really like hives. Almost looks like acne but the bumps are all the same size and they're just red no white heads or anything. You can't really even feel them. It's almost as if they're under the skin.
My 5 month old baby has had a horrible red rash on his cheeks and chin for a few weeks now. My derm is telling me it's eczema and to apply desonide ointment to it. My problem is my baby rubs his eyes, cheeks and mouth while he sleeps. We put socks on his hands but he is CONSTANTLY rubbing. I know if if I apply desonide to his cheeks as the derm. tells me to that he WILL get it in his eyes and mouth. They tell me it's safe. Can someone please reassure me that this is safe.
I have swelling on my face on both cheeks, upper eye area by my brows all the way down to my eyes, under my eyes, and on my forehead distributed equally on both sides of my face (the swelling is the same on both sides of my face to where it looks like an exact duplicate of welting on both sides of the face). This is one month past and it still is there.
For about a year now, I've been dealing with these sudden breakouts on my face, on and off. I've searched all over the internet and can't find anyone else with what I have. It's like very tiny, itchy bumps that focus on my cheeks, chin, around my mouth, and around my eyes with a red sort of rash. It makes my skin feel rough and textured when it's usually smooth. i have a pimple-like rash on my face under my lips. it is a little itchy, but not intolerable. i have had it now for over a month. now it is also on my shoulders and my hands are starting to get itchy but i dont see any bumps. i just had my teeth pulled and got dentures (im only 29). the bumps seemed to start clearing up while i was on antibiotics, but not completely. i also have a thin dark line along the edge of my lower lip.
My 8yr old daughter woke up this morning with red marks on her face. There is a little spot(about the size of a dime) beside her eye. Then on her other cheek it is alot larger and goes downward, not really near the eye either. At first I thought it looked like a road burn, like falling off a bike. She has not fallen or hit her face on anything. It kind of looks like a chemical burn or reaction.
I'm an 18 year old male and I have had a reoccurring face rash for 6 years. The rash is typically on my upper cheeks, 1/2 and inch or so below my bottom lip, sometimes and my jaw, and sometimes on my forehead. It seems to be triggered by almost everything. If I ever sleep anywhere other than my house I will surely get it. I also get it from swimming, being in nature (mountain biking and hiking). Being in the sun irritates it. Water makes my skin feel constricted.
Well, my skin gets hard bumps under the skin which arent pimples and they will form permenant red marks on my face. I also have three spots on my cheeks near my nose that have thickening skin and contu=inuously flake off and turn red and repeat continuously. Nothing seems to help..I went to a doctor and they said I have rosacea but I really don't think that is what it is, I ve been put on doryx and metrogel to helkp and it just seems to be getting worse.
My 4yr old son has been sick for the last week with a fever, cough, congestion, joint pain, ringing in his ears, and now a rash on his face and sore on his arm. I noticed last week that his cheeks were flushed but I figured it was from the fever but now that the fever is gone, the rash on his face noticable. The rash looks like little bumps but all together in a bright red circle with some of the little red bumps are on his nose and lips. The rash is also dry and flaky.
Parvovirus infection may present with a red rash on the cheeks .However, this is quite a rare presentation in adults and Parvovirus usually affects children. Also, this infection may be associated with joint pains.
The sexual history may be contributory. However, we may not be too sure if this rash is an STD manifestation. A urinalysis may be done as well as blood tests may be done just to rule out any STD"s but I would say the results may likely not show anything.

Hello, my cheeks began to become red a few weeks ago, then a rash began to appear(only on my right cheek first however it soon started to happen on my left), I tried fucidin cream on it because it was similar to a rash I had on my hand a while back, now it would somewhat go away but then it would come back again, now it's worse as my forehead has become extremely irritant, I've tried DiproBase cream on both my cheeks and forehead however they just become scaly.
I have had this rash on my face for some time. I'd say 18 months, to 2 years.
Symptoms:
I have this red rash (as seen in the picture) that sometimes peels, and on rare occasions itches. It often becomes sore if I wash it with any kind of soap. If I just leave it alone most of the skin appears smooth, but in the crease on the side of my nose dead skin flakes off. Peeling rarely happens anywhere else.
It use to be just on the side, and end of my nose.
ve been experiencing rapid growth in some type of rash on my face, hands, and groin area. How can I cure the rash. It does not itch it's just red.
