face rash children

It sounds odd but is very common in children and adults.Hydration is important. The rash is most likely a sudden heat rash..but without proper testing to rule out other more serious conditions it is hard to make an educated guess. Good luck and be well.

m not sure what it is and I would like anyone to post some help or maybe even some steps on how to get rid of it. I have never had a rash before so I would think it would be tempory. The rash itself doesnt hurt it just occasially stings. Any help please?

We applied hydrocortisone cream to see if it was just an allergic rash. The redness has gone away, but spread over his face. It is like rough skin, almost sandpaper feeling, that you can't see till you are up close to him. He is perfectly fine, no fever, no complaint of sore throat. Please tell me your take on this. How old is the baby? The brown mark looks like skin pigmentation. It may be a birthmark. Not sure about the red mark near to the brownish one. If you are concerned about anything about your baby, it would be a good idea to see your doctor to check the baby out. I would not apply any cream on the baby's face or anywhere (apart from diaper rash cream on the bottom) without a doctor instruction. Best wishes.

I have very itchy blisters on my hand. i am a few weeks ahead of u in treatment and do have itchyness of face arms back legs head etc. no rash though. i try to keep skin moisturized and mix some hydrocortisone with lotion when it is unbearable. i do not want to overdo with the hydrocortisone as it is absorbed thru skin. i have no other sx that lead me to be concerned and i believe this is just an annoyance for now.

Hello, I was wondering what the diagnosis was for your son's facial rash? My daughter is also one year old and has the exact same rash on her face and sometimes on her nose and near her eyes. My pediatrician has perscribed two different creams that did not work and he now has referred us to the dermatologist. I saw your son's picture and it looks so much like what my daughter has. underneath a UV light.. you could see the rash discoloration of my face (malar).. I dont know if it could be related but my I used to wipe my 7 mo old sons face whenever he came into contact with mine.. When I stopped, it seemed like he got a rash too..
