Avatar n tn a lump under my eye is in a lot of pain i can't see the lump but if I feel it on my bottom eyelid it is very painful
Avatar f tn ve been using fusidic acid eyedrops for the last week because of a suspected eye infection - one eyelid had massive swelling which ended up as a large lump in the outer corner of the upper eyelid. Most of the swelling has gone now, but my eyelid is a strange yellowy colour, almost like it's bruised? Is this normal? It's starting to concern me...I suffer with anxiety anyway, so any help that anyone could give would be massively appreciated - thank you!
Avatar m tn Hi, the lump may not be related to the stroke. The 'lump' could be a sebaceous cyst, a lipoma, mastoid bone infection or lymph nodes. They could also be herpes infections, cysts, yeast infections and infected hair follicles. If there is accompanying swelling, redness, discharge and fever it is most probably an infection. You may need to consult your primary care physician who will examine you and initiate appropriate therapy. Regards.
Avatar f tn I have had a lump on my left caruncle for about two months now. I've gone to two eye doctors, the first one just said it doesn't have any signs of infection and recommended warm compresses and those didn't help at all, the second prescribed me steriod eye drops which also haven't really been helping. The mass changes from looking very red and shiny to pink and like it's dried up.
Avatar f tn I had *graft material* placed in an extraction site to facilitate bone for an implant. This was done July 23, 2009. Last month I had a painful lump appear on my inside gum at site of former tooth #11. I was out of state from where my periodontist is located. I had a prescription for Clindamycin with me and started taking that on the second day. The lump ruptured and drained. Returning home on the fifth day after beginning the antibiotic, I went to my periodontist for an assessment.
Avatar f tn My mother has been suffering with a painful lump on the inside corner of her eye for almost two years now. She's seen at least 4 different eye docs and a specialist in Seattle that performed an invasive procedure with drilling and tubes, etc which made matters worse. No one can seem to tell her what this lump is, why it won't go away or how to fix it. We are at the end of our ropes trying to figure this out. What do you recommend we do from here?
Avatar f tn Hello. I have a hard bump underneath my skin next to my right eye. It feels like bone but I don't have it on my left side. You can't tell it's there unless if you feel the area. I only knew it was there because I felt pain when I closed my right eye. I'm worried since it's so close to my eye. I don't know what to think of it. My skin is fine though & it's not affecting my vision. What can it be? Can people grow bones or tissue on their face out of the blue?
Avatar f tn because there my testicles haha , in left eye seen a roundish yellow spot on the lower white of the eye.. Not affecting eye sight or any symtoms linked to it. Found softish non moveable lump behind ear feels like its attached to jaw bone. But if i open mouth or turn head lump disapears.... Most symtoms popped up after i found that lump behind ear i was thinking most of my symtoms could be caused by anxiety and depression because i had no problems before i found it ...
Avatar n tn i have a small lump on the eyelid where you would wear your eye shadow. one time i was able to squeeze a whit thick pus out of it and thought that was the end of it. it seemed to have spread. i went to the doctors and went through two rounds of differnet antibiotics. its still there. i have squeezed them and a small amout of blood comes out, but no more puss. its angry looking, and since i like to wear makeup, I am embarresed at this as well as scared it might be cancer.
Avatar n tn I read this question was mentioned earlier, and the response, included a brief reference to the lacrimal sac being dilated or infected, the fact that you could feel a small lump where the pain is was also mentioned. I can feel the small lump, and have the pain when i press on it. so my question is: what is the treatment for this? is it serious or not so serious? Thanks!
Avatar m tn I bput alcohol on the back of my ear on that lump, but i would keep an eye on it cause it can turn out to be something more than that.
Avatar m tn Hi I went to see a dentist because I found a tiny lump on jaw line which can sorta move and be painful if I press it,he said because I have a wisdom tooth coming its a lymph node.its not growin and its been about 4 months but I'm starting to be be abit sceptical of his diagnosis any advise?
Avatar m tn I am not seeing any noticeable different discharge from her eye. She seems to get relief from me rubbing it. Thinking it may be a tooth infection, however she shows no sign of any discomfort when eating. She also has a large lump on her left side above her leg which I have just assumed was a cyst. This has been there for a few months and appears to be getting smaller. Her energy levels are good and she seems fine other than this large lump that formed overnight.

Avatar f tn s likely a small infection somewhere in her body and her lymph nodes are now swollen as they are fighting off the infection. I'd take her to her primary doctor, they'll likely give her an antibiotic or just tell you to keep an eye on it. Probably nothing serious, but just to be on the safe side, let them take a look.
Avatar n tn Dear Dr. I have had a headache for approximately 4 weeks. I have written it off to everything stress, sinus, and allergies. I went to the gp last week and received an antibiotic for a sinus infection. Unfortunately, I still have the headache. Fortunately, I don't have a sinus infection. I have had a lump on my left forhead for about 2 years, but in the last 6 months it has rapidly grown.

Avatar f tn Now for two days, this same lump has moved to over my left eye brow. It comes later in the day. It went down some but not away this morning. Now it has caused my eye lid to be almost swollen shut. Since this is three weeks after what I felt was just a hard fall, what can this be?
2058427 tn?1331933650 Later it came back again and I noticed the effects it has on me when it again disappeared. It leaves me with a straining feeling in my eye, then tooth ache. Today, the lump has came and went about 7 or 8 times. The pain in the eye and the pain in the tooth the same when it goes. Any clues? I'd take myself to the Doctor... if it would stay long enough!
Avatar f tn But now I have this burning feeling in my breast and read that it could be a yeast infection. It just started yesterday and today I decided to stop feeding him by my breast and just pump. I'm boiling all bottle and pump supplies for 20min. Do I need to see a doctor or can I get rid of it on my own since it just started? Or is it something else and I'm just freaking out?
Avatar f tn Extremely contagious, it spreads easily by eye to hand to eye contact, a runny nose or cough, or when people come into contact with a contaminated surface or object. If severe enough or long lasting, it can eventually lead to corneal scarring that can cause glare and decreased vision. Experts recommend not going to work or school if you have sore eyes or symptoms of sore eyes until symptoms are relieved and treatment is successful.
Avatar m tn d probably wait and see on it- keep an eye on the lump and if it starts to show signs of infection again, go back- other wise, give it a bit more time to fade (which it still may). If it bothers you visually and you just can't get used to it being there, head in for a second opinion and talk about removal.
