On instant-gram every now and then motivational quotes and pictures of stick thin girls would appear on my wall at the time it didn't bother me but whoever I got on that social media sight I would see every picture. a healthy diet and exercise is the healthiest way to lose weight. I'll give you a sample diet to try: Breakfast: 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal with a spoonful of unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon, or a handful of berries. Lunch: A salad with grilled chicken breast and balsamic vinegar dressing or fat-free italian. Or a light Mediterranean salad makes a good alternative for vegetarians.

Trying to lose weight and change our eating and exercise behaviors can seem like a daunting task at times. However, you CAN succeed by adopting a “can do” attitude, learning how to forgive yourself rather than punishing yourself and never, ever giving up! Since this is a learning process and we are not perfect, bumps in the road are to be expected. From time to time, when we face a derailment and regain some of the weight we fought so hard to lose, we can get disheartened.

50 mcg, but based on the rise in TSH, my doc didn't mind increasing me to .75mcg (and switching to synthroid). I have to say that now I feel fine. Energy level is good, exercise daily without a problem, depression is gone... and continue to gain weight... Why is there so much change in my TSH levels? is this a symptom of something else I should be looking at?? What questions or tests should I be asking the doctor? Thanks in advance.

We're all here to be friends and help in any way we can. First thing to do is calculate your daily calorie needs and stay within that level. I'm not sure what types of food you eat, but make sure you get plenty of low fat protein, such as chicken, fish, lean beef/pork, dairy, eggs, beans/legumes, etc. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits/vegetables every day. Stick with none starchy veggies. Apples, pears, etc are excellent for fruits because they have lots of filling fiber.

And also, just because of what you are about to read, it does not mean I say forget about all the other ways to make this easier such as supplements, exercise, and other medications. I can discuss those options too, I wouldnt suggest a detox or self induced withdrawal without them. First and most important, you have to sit down, take a deep breath, and make sure your mind is 110% focused and convinced that you CAN and WILL beat this.
>My FEAR is that without the ESCAPE FROM REALITY, that >once real reality sets in, I wont be able to deal with >it. I had exactly the same fear. I don't know about yours, but my fear was very well founded. Time after time I'd get clean only to find that I was simply unable to deal with life w/o my hydrocodone. So, time after time I relapsed, even after clean runs of 30-60 days. None of those relapses was a willing or intentional return to the insanity of active addiction.

Hi there.. I know that feeling too..saying, "ahh, how is today going to be?" I have generalized anxiety and have had a wide range of worrying/tensing up over everything, : my heart, how I am doing on something/work related, did I say the right thing? did I do the right thing? ...I find this type of constant SELF -criticism/awareness, is very unnecessary....and it is usually always, always fabricated in our mind, and not true.
Just curious if any of you have experienced similar drops in cholesterol and how your doctors view this. Thanks.
