Avatar n tn 5 mg of klonopin daily, I am able to exercise and am completely free of panic attacks. I usually take the klonopin a half an hour before working out, which allows me to exercise for two hours without the fear of a panic attack. My question is could intense exercise help metabolize the klonopin out of my system? The reason I ask is my husband and I were trying to get pregnant prior to the panic attack disorder.

Avatar f tn The most important is self-care. Eating good nutrition, drinking plenty of water, decreasing caffeine (a stimulant). Exercise, even if it's just getting up and dancing or going for a good walk. Rest when you need to. Listen to your body. Distraction when the anxiety is creeping in - turn on some music, call a friend and talk it out, get up and go walk. But most importantly is retraining your brain. "This is just anxiety. It's no fun, but it's not going to hurt me.

Avatar m tn no cigs, no pot, less or no booze, eating healthy, frequent exercise, reduced stress, more rest and sleep, multi-vitamins, daily immune boosting vitamins (C, E, A, Zinc, etc). Doctors will not agree with this. Doctors don't even agree with other doctors! The CDC claims we are all contagious forever. To heck with the CDC. There are no certainties with this virus. You may get warts 20-30 years from now. Or you may not.
148588 tn?1465778809 There are so many different studies and opinions on this issue, I don't think it will ever be resolved... We all know that study data can be skewed any way one wants to skew it, in order to come up with the preferred results. By the way, the video in the link I posted is exactly the same as the video in the original post.
1141709 tn?1329402332 Hi, I am yet to experience ivf but im having my 1st cycle around 14th sept thats when i start injections or round about, anyway the ivf nurse told me that some people choose to rest after ivf some go to the gym i dont think theres any proven facts that exercise affects implantation i think it would all depend on how you feel, i would probs just do very light exercise because it the embrio wasnt to implant youd always wonder if it was that (well i know i would!
Avatar m tn And it can happen due to dopamine levels in the brain (remember, we have serotonin, dopamine, etc. as brain chemicals, ALL of us). From the article that I'm linking: "When substances are withdrawn the brain is left with a high tolerance to dopamine, no supply of it, and a very limited ability to produce it. The result is anhedonia." Anhedonia has specific symptoms and this lack of emotion, lack of feeling of joy, going through the motions is all part of it.
1906433 tn?1321844691 I would like to get back into exercising more, however I'm concerned with how my cranium will handle it, because it's still healing from having a tumor removed in 08/11. I do walk, but I did more before the tumor was diagnosed. My neurosurgeon doesn't address anything that he doesn't seem to think is his field. My chiropractor says walk, walk, walk. Which is ok, but with the weather getting colder, I can't tolerate outside much.
Avatar f tn s what my parents told me, as i grow older i feel weaknesses such as pain in my left knee at the same time my left brain felt pain as well? does anyone have same experience of mine?
Avatar f tn Scattered foci of increased T2/Flair signals indicate small vessel ischemic disease or changes of brain blood vessels. These changes are seen in multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's or Wilson's Disease, migraine headaches, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Though they are of no immediate threat, all these causes, and the presence of ischemic changes can be a risk factor for future stroke.
Avatar m tn Regarding your really wise concern if your son should be engaging in martial arts may I say first that there is a general consensus that physical exercise is a positive effect in the patient since having a fit body is always important to carry your body. Moderate exercise is positive on your brain, muscles and spinal cord. However there is a general recommendation that contact or impact sports are not highly recommended.
1256754 tn?1325869999 Over the past few years I began to notice that my perception of reality changed depending on what I took in, mainly due to alcohol and drugs, but I also noticed that I had fantastic bursts of energy and manic behaviour when others would be drunk or stoned, so I looked into it a bit more and noticed that serotonin seemed to be the key, I have been told that serotonin not only is present in the brain but can be produced in the gut - which explained my chronic bouts of IBS, when I was particularl
602261 tn?1252583158 This will probably be my last posted question for awhile but I was seeing how many of you have found that exercise helps with your tx and sx. I do understand that some people are so sick that they can't do any exercise and for those few I‘m sorry but do any of you out there find that it helps you? I've found that so far I've been lucky with no sx however, I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel when I don't work out.
Avatar n tn s not an easy yes/no answer w/o having to divulge on some fundamental facts for a clearer understanding on why one should or should not drink sodas in limited moderation. Actually, no soda - regular or diet - is good to drink due to the high levels of acid they contain. [pour a little over your car battery, wipe it off and see how much gunk is removed by the acid. This is what it does as goes down your throat.
Avatar n tn I think am suffering from Cholinergic urticaria, whenever I do workout or eat spicy food, or even just be in sun for a long time which increases my body temperature, my body begins to develop rashes and cause heavy itching specially on my chest, back, and sometimes on my head and arms. The skin gets reddish in color, though they disappear quite quickly like within 5 mins or so everything gets normal except that my brain isn't working properly after the rashes disappear.
Avatar m tn PLEASE to read this It feels like there is a lot of pressure on my brain, like I constantly have a mild head ache. I feel like my ability to access the "thinking" part of my brain is blocked out, it's almost as if I'm a zombie. I use to have a very vivid imagination and could solve puzzles and do complicated math problems in my head quickly, but none of that seems possible anymore. I just feel like a dummy.
1124887 tn?1313754891 s almost certainly a PAC. Irregular heart beats during exercise or during high heartrate caused by anxiety are more likely to be PACs. Are PACs and PVCs dangerous? PACs are almost never dangerous. However, if someone is severely bothered by PACs (several thousands a day) it's a good idea to see the doctor, to determine if something more severe is causing the PACs. PVCs in a healthy heart are essentially benign.

Avatar f tn Anybody there to share the facts and truth of the having grown up children without diabetes though parents have it and though its present in heredity. Thanks!
220090 tn?1379167187 I have always felt that exercise after treatment was the quickest way to get rid of the leftover sx -- mostly memory related -- that seemed to hang on forever after treatment. Every time I started to exercise, the last of my sx would disappear. I saw a program on NPT last week that talked about stem cells that reside in our brains all of our life. It seems that exercise stimulates them to make new neurons.
