Avatar f tn it is possible jumping rope may be ok for you.....but we are all different so some of us can not jump rope.....so if you try jumping rope and have no effects then it is ok for you.....if your symptoms increase or are triggered then it is not the right activity for you. Have you had a recent MRI...and when did the eye issues start?
1159737 tn?1286517257 I always ahd a problem jumping rope as a child, so I never tried as an adult....my chiari symptoms have been around as long as I can remember....I just dealt or compensated. I was told teh best type of exercise for chiarians is swimming....not diving or jumping in...but swimming and I was able to get in a pool this past summer and I did enjoy it. Ne thing where u exert will cause those pains..... I have been trying to figure out how to exercise as well bcuz I want and need to lose weight....
Avatar f tn As noted above, jumping rope is a good exercise. Yoga will also help tone and elongate your legs, which will make your thighs look thinner.

When I was a kid, my favorite winter activity was playing outside in the snow. Before snow fell, I liked being outside waiting for snow to fall! We built snowmen, went tobaggoning, tried to build igloos but that never worked out because we don't have the right snow. We had snow ball fights and made snow angels. Walking in the snow is hard work.

I had not warmed up - I was just walking around the place w/ my kids and saw the game (which I'd played on previous visits and barely gotten winded). I hadn't eaten for several hours prior to jumping rope. My heart rate, while I didn't take it, was through the roof. I could feel it just about jumping out of my chest.

If you can jump rope continuously for 10 or 15 minutes you are already doing excellent; or you can do a session of say 1 minute jump rope, then recover for 2 minutes (doing say 20 squats), then 1 more minute jump rope, then recover for 2 minutes (doing say 20 push ups).

This doesn't happen when just walking normally, usually just when excercising like jogging and jump rope exercises. It is a prominent flash. What could cause this? I exercise regularly, but since starting this program on several occasions I have seen a black spot in the bottom of the field of vision in my right eye. It reminds my of the distortion you get when you touch a plasma screen, kind of warped. I don't see it any other time, only when I'm really exerting myself, but today I actually got a head ache along with it. The headache got worse and then went away on the way home...

When you are young, all you see are flaws in yourself, even when there are none. If you could take the focus off yourself and take an interest in other things, you would become a more interesting person and more attractive to people, ironically.
