im showering every day but they arent going and the creams you can get only come in pathetic tubes. cant you reccomend anything to get rid of them? and then showering should keep them away at least. now onto my other problem, my bottom lip is unbeleivably dry, all the creams i have tried just sit on top. eventually i peel the skin off, which i know is bad.. but it comes off in one layer like glue does off skin. eventually it grows back and the cycle starts again, i get mocked for this..

Finally a dermatologist gave her a cream. He said she had exema. She had to use gloves to wash dishes or use any cleaning chemicals, putting the white cotton gloves underneath. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist. Hello so I'm 28 weeks along and I have a rash that just sprung up on my right arm. It covers my whole a and it itches and it looks like little bumps. I was currently using triamcinolone for an existing exema condition in other areas of my body. I called the nurse at my dr's office and she suggested that I use the triamcinolone cream on my face to clear up the reaction. Did you try a new makeup or cleansing product on your face? Is it broke out in a rash or acne? Acne is not uncommon in pregnancy due to all the hormone changes. If it's a rash I would check with your doctor or midwife.

I do remember that prior to Sept I was starting to lose more hair, acne, get some exema which prompted me to take my labs to see where my numbers were at. Oatmeal bath. Aveeno colloidal oatmeal pouches. May take 2 or 3 baths to clear it all up but it can really help. I also switched to aveeno oatmeal body wash and dye free perfume free laundry dtgt and softener (prior to the oatmeal.) I was getting hives all over for a couple months and no creams or lotions worked. Also tell your doc. There are a few pregnancy related possibilities that cause itching.

I have general good health and don't take any medication besides contraceptive. I take care of a healthy and diverse diet. Out of the blue (well it was a stressful time) both of my thumbs and my right index finger started to develop very tough skin. There was no itch or rash.

We just started my son on solid foods about 3wks ago (rice cereal followed by oatmeal, then peaches, and now sweet potatoes) and he's been fine with everything..he had sweet potatoes yesterday with no problem. but today, his cheeks suddenly look very rashy. Now, he's a very red-cheeked baby anyway and he's had a little splotch next to his lips that I attributed to drooling, but in the last hour it seems to have broken out into splotchy red rashes. I have 3 children, they all have this to some extent and our local doctors have no idea what it is. They have ruled out exema. It is worse in my boys than in my daughter. Their hands will get a white raised blister which will then peel off layers of skin. They are also sensitive to light (in case it helps) I've attached a photo of my oldest son's hands.
