You are like me. I carry napkins everywhere and it's disgusting. People stare at me when I have a coughing fit and spit in every trash can, and my family screams and ******* about it everyday, and it's so annoying because I can't stop it, and I can't go to the doctor. If modern medicine does not work, I suggest you try Chinese herbal medicine, or maybe acupuncture.
The work area should be screened with non-permeable plastic and a negative pressure maintained to prevent dust from exiting. This is what was done when a building I worked in was being renovated. The differential in pressure was created by outside exhaust fans within the work area of the building.

I also got coughing so hard I coughed up/vommited mucous 3 times and it was very thick. When I start coughing it's hard to stop and I feel like i can't breath. This morning I thought it might have gone away and I feel a little better but I still can't take a full deep breath without coughing, I've looked up symptoms and think it might possibly be bronchitis?
Has anyone tried using a netipot to relieve these symptoms? I have had the same problem for exactly a year now and it's really become unbearable. I feel a constant tightness in my throat and every time I swallow, I have coughing fits.Throughout the day I will have to clear my throat and i always have clear mucus to clear. It's made it to the point where I don't looking forward to meals anymore b/c I know what to expect.
I feel like I am drowning from the inside. This is especially bad when lying down, making sleep very difficult! It is also bad when bending over or sitting. After extensive testing over many years Doctors say it is caused by allergies or reflux. I have taken every immaginable drug to dry it up and every thing to prevent reflux but nothing not even slightly helps. When I have an especially bad bout, I am forced to eat crackers, graham type, to block or absorb what ever is producing it.
I find that in order to try and clear this, I will need to keep clearing my throat or coughing. When I talk, I sometimes have a wet sounding voice that ‘breaks’. I do not experience any mucus symptoms during the night but do find that I occasionally wake myself up with a slight dry cough. I have the mucus/cough problem each and every morning (same intensity) but the day time issue can vary in severity.
It causes me fatigue, and it interferes with daily life, e.g. coughing up mucus all day into sink, tissues, etc. It has not let up, except for about 2 days. I have gone to approximately six doctors and no one has determined the cause nor does anyone have any ideas. I have had a car load of tests run, e.g. sinus CT scan, chest CT scan, phlegm cultures, blood work, pulmonary/respiratory tests, allergy tests, tests for immunological disorders, but nothing shows up. It's all negative.
Hi i have a 12 year old male staffie who has had 4 seizures over the past 4/5 months other than this and a few fatty lumps he eats well runs around and is very happy but for the past few days has started coughing normally first thing in the morning and when excited cough sounds like he has some thing stuck in his throat any advice ??
There are cough medicines that are safe. You should ask your pharmacist. Hot lemonade and honey is soothing aswell.
I can not stop coughing. Cough drops aren't really helping. I'm 16w3d. Is there anything I can do or take to help?
stale air (eg. Closed cars) or strong odor (eg. Car exhaust). I have been tested to be allergic to dust/ dust mites. After a couple of minutes of coughing and spiting out and having a tablet of Benadryl allergy medication, things are pretty normal. The above mentioned reactions happen mostly in morning. I have tried: Zyrtec, Astelin, Flovent discus, among other medicines to no avail. Any suggestions on medicines or potential cures?
I felt like this last night and I got up to drink some water and dressed in cooler pj's and stuck my arms and legs out for a bit. It's so uncomfortable when you're hot at bedtime. Hope it has subsided.
