Avatar f tn I am getting on track with eating a more balanced diet with protein, carbs that are lower in sugar, and fruits only in the AM to burn off any sugar that is in the fruit. I have tried compression hose and my feet and ankles still swell. I do have a problem when walking as the swelling makes my ankles, feet and legs feel very heavy. There is no discoloration however they do look much whiter as they swell.

The cheaper brands of dog food are made with alot of filler and less protein, that could also cause excess gas. Especially older dogs need a good quality dog food. Good Luck!

Figured I would supplement as I was trying to gain a few pounds (6'1", 155lb). Also added in some eggs. Didn't realize too much protein may cause stones. Xray revealed no stones, trace amount of blood in urine. Anyway, while I'm at the office, I ask if she can check my potassium, magnesium and iron levels and reminded her of my pvcs.

If you produce too much insulin it keeps turning everything you eat into fat. The result is you never seem to feel full and/or are always hungry.
