estrogen vertigo

I take antivert for symptoms but am regularly taking estrogen, pepsid and other gerd medications. Anyone have experience with vertigo lasting months? however mild, this still is quite bothersome.

Another line of thought could be ear problems. Ear problems too are known to cause nausea and vertigo. Also spondylitis of cervical spine (neck vertebrae) is known to cause nausea and vertigo. An ENT and an orthopedic consultation can take care of that. Maybe its vertigo that makes you feel shaky. Alternately you could get a brain EEG to rule out epilepsy.

hot flushing, dizzy or a type of vertigo feeling, just awful and made me feel weird. extreme feelings passed and I was ok during middle of day, just tired and a little light headed. Last night, however, just before bed I got the awful flushing feeling, anxiety, dizzy, actually similar to the morning epidsode. 3. Dose 3 have not taken it yet. it is now 10am our time and I was supposed to take it at 6am. am I too late to take it now?

The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?

All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.

my ttumor was tested and it was estrogen positive i am on an estrogen blocker.. how about asking your doc if the tumor was estrogen positive or not.

With menopause your body stops making estrogen. Eating soy products seems to boost the estrogen a bit, but is that good? I was a regular consumer of soy milk, tofu, edamame and flax seed after menopause. After my diagnosis of breast cancer (estrogen positive) my oncologist recommended I avoid soy products because even the weak phytoestrogens may stimulate cancer cells. Research is not conclusive but better to be safe. As the addage goes, 'all things in moderation.

Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.

Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen. I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods. I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.

This cream made me worse at first because it apparently wakes up the estrogen receptors and makes the estrogen dominance symptoms worse. I cut my dosage back to about 1/16 to 1/8 of a teaspoon applied at night and things seem to be getting better! Finally! I'm going to talk to the doctor about adding a natural estrogen cream to the mix if things get bad again.

I had a complete hysterectomy in 97. I am 40 years old and have been on estrogen since 1997. For the last month I have had left breast pain witha stinging sensation to the nipple if even touched. I am not able to lie on that side any longer. Could I have an infection some how? No medication changes or additions. I only take estrotest. What kind of surgery? I have similar symptoms with a drop in estrogen, I think, no one has been able to determine it. I went off birth control and three days later had similar symptoms to yours. It took about three months to get better. I just had surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago and I am now in complete surgery induced menopause. I have some of the same symptoms. There are plenty of times (often) where I get what seems like vertigo, dizzy with the slightest movements. I also have migraines with auras, no idea whats triggering them but have had them for years. My doctor thinks its a hormone imbalance, menopause. I can see that but I feel like something else is going on. Any thoughts???

I had a baby in October 2010. I developed preeclampsia while pregnant,after delivery I had a gran mal seizure. After all that was over and done with I felt fine for a while despite elevated blood pressure levels. But a few months later I got really dizzy for no reason and that dizziness has stayed with me. i have had 5 seizures since 1980. i believe now they are caused by my estrogen/progesterone ratio imbalance. i had a grand mal april 15. one week after i did my bloodwork(i am a medical technologist) and found my tsh was 0.05. i have also been on phenobarbital since 1980. i now after this last episode, take 200mg. my level is up from 16 to 30. all other thyroid tests are normal. total t3 is barely elevated.

My emotions range from apathy to jittery anxiety, and I have had dizziness and actual vertigo intermittently for the past 3 months. There is also a history of breast fibroadenomas and multiple surgical biopsies, the last of which for microcalcifications showed precancerous atypical cells, perhaps facilitated by the worsening estrogen/progesterone imbalance.

Hey just wondering if any other mommas have problems with vertigo? Sometimes the baby moves so much that it makes me feel like I am on a boat about to be sea sick. Anyone else feel like that?

I just started feeling anxious because I was googling vertigo because I think that's what I might have.. I don't know? My head still feels weird.. Symptoms I have are: -Pressure in head (sometimes it feels like its going to explode) -Headaches -Neck pain/ stiff neck -Off balance -Feeling like I'm swaying or in an elevator OR tilted to one side -After images all the time no matter what I look at.
