My doctor then had me do an uptake and scan and said it came back normal and no longer thought my thyroid was an issue. Now my doctor thinks I am estrogen dominant but my thyroid levels are still out of whack. does any of this makes sense. is it related to my partial hysterectomy ? why if my levels are hyper thyroid can I not lose weight ?!? sorry this is kind of thyroid/hormone but I didn't find any other forums to Post in.
Apocrine metaplasia is a result of the breast tissue reacting to an overabundance of Estrogen or an imbalamce of Estrogen and Progesterone. Echogenic means that the structure of the breast reflects high frequency waves such as Ultrasound. These cysts are of no particular concern and do not increase one's risk for breast cancer. No treatment is usually needed for benign findings.
After chemo, I had a CT scan. The CT scan showed a 2 cm size soft tissue structure behind the bladder. A follow CT scan 6 weeks later showed the same thing. Both scan reports said that it could be the right ovary. My pathology report said that both ovaries had been removed. An ultrasound said it was an "apparent right ovary" and named the resistive blood flow index. A follow-up ultrasound several weeks later showed the same thing.I was 49 at the time of these scans.

56 yr old & post menopausal. A complex cyst was found within my right ovary via ultrasound. Report reads: "Within the right ovary there is a complex cyst structure which measures 2.3 cm x 2 cm x 1.8 cm. This has a 1 cm mural nodule that appears solid and contains vascularity by dopler assessment."
Dr wants to remove and biopsy of the right ovary and do a total hysterectomy if the pathology comes back as a granulosa. This doesn't sit right with me.
Hi, I had a mammogram Aug 27th which that the small node I have had for years has grown. Two days later I had an ultrasound that shows a hypoechoic structure deep within the chest wall and has a hyperechoic notch to it with an appeappearance of a benign lymph node but does not correlate with the position of the mammogram. Given the findings of this ultrasound and enlargemnt of the density on the mammogram biopsy is recommended. My question is would you take it out completely?
t know very much about the molecular structure. I find it a bit hard to understand, but I get pieces of it.

If you are only getting a few hours sleep and you have been home a lot, it is likely Vitamin D deficiency, but could also be a circadian rhythm thing. Try adding structure to your day and that should help. That also means going out and doing something daily.
Most people have adequate magnesium, but its not out of the question. Make sure it is tested from RBC.
The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2.

All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.
Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.
Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen.
I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods.
I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.

Did the colposcopy done before the LEEP show a worse case of dysplasia since a LEEP is not typically done for mild dysplasia?
It is claimed to be a good bio-identical product, interesting it doesnt seem to contain estrogen or testoserone, so it is definatley not a hormone replacment therapy. It is more a medication to increase natural sex drive, lubrication, and help with hot flashes, mood swings etc...seems to be similar in chemical structure to a anti-depressant.
I also noticed its very pricey , please keep in touch w me and let me know if you try it how it effects you .
There are many causes for prolonged and heavy bleeding such as fibroids, polyps, a thickened endometrium caused by too much or too little of either estrogen or progesterone. Those imbalances can be body produced, supplement produced or a combo of both. There are more causes as well that are related to thyroid function but, all of this needs to be evaluated and diagnosed as you are really saying behind your questions.
Within the left ovary is a complex cystic structure measuring 4.4 x 4.8 x 4.5 cm. Some sepatation is present with half of the cystic structure having either dense internal debris or a somewhat solid component. No color flow is appreciated in this abnormal half of the cystic structure. No other mass or lesion or free fluid is present wihtin the left adnexa. This is a nonspecific finding and both benign and malignat etiologies must be considered.

After an ultrasound of the pelvic (internal and external) I found out about a week ago that I have a 4.2 x 1.8 x 1.5 complex right adnexal cystic structure on my right ovary with no free fluid in the cul-de-sac. I had a partial hysterectomy about 18 years ago because of endometreosis and heavy periods. All they left were my ovaries. I am 54 years old and am post menopausal. My maternal grandma had ovarian cancer and my maternal aunt had breast cancer with one or both removed.
