Do fat cells secrete estrogen? Do I even need estrogen replacement? I used a bioidentical progesterone cream in the past. I was on Yaz birth control before the surgery. Without that I was practically psychotic.I am more miserable now than before surgery. I cry A LOT. My family is sick of me and I am sick of me. My doctor doesn't explain things. Will excercise/supplements etc be enough?Where can I turn for info?

My doctor put me on a medication called SYNAREL Nasal Spray for the next six months. Just wondering if anyone else was on this nasal spray? Side effects? I've been on it for 2.5 weeks. I've had horrible headaches daily, extreme fatigue and muscle and joint pain. My doctor does not think this is related to the Synarel. Anyone with similar experience?

I started one using a nasal spray at the start of teh year but did not last the month as it literally sent me crazy. Due to an increase in my ca125 i now have to start it again trying a tablet instead. Any experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.

I have used a nasal spray (DDAVP) for three weeks, but the bleeding did not stop. I tried doubling up on the nasal spray since I was prescribed the wrong strength, but it did not help. I had my second Depo Provera shot on December 7. I thought it would help make the bleeding stop, but I am still bleeding. I have also tried a estrogen pill I was prescribed, but it has not helped. I know I will have light bleeding on the Depo Provera, but is it normal to be bleeding for 37 days?

I would use some kind of hormone therapy and the good news is you can use and estrogen only product. I would really start there becasue of hot flashes and night sweats. If you aren't sleeping you may have a harder time with weight. Bottom line, don't be afraid of estrogen. I would however stay away or be hesitant with over the counter hormones like Black Cohosh or Estroven etc.

Something you may look into is a estrogen spray that goes on your inner arm. It peaks at night so you can sleep and is a low dose product. I was talking with gyn on Fri who says it what she uses with her patients who smoke. You can use 1,2 or 3 sprays to get the relief you need. above poster has a great point check with your doc that prescribes meds again ask for a full work up...and yes I have an idea for you ..try estrogen again,,,it comes in many forms,,,a little bottle of spray that you "mist" on your skin,,lotion that you rub in,,,a vaginal cream,,,and more ....if the method of the patch bthered you and I can see how it would many with sensitive skin...try a different method...

Hello, It could be a combination of the "mini pill" and the alcohol causing the reaction. I would call your pharmacist and ask about certain side-effects and if this is possible. I know that some hormones (including the "pill" can cause headaches, especially if you already have an over-abundance of Estrogen in you, called "Estrogen Dominance" That, too, can cause headaches, so, like I said, ask the pharmacist and even your doctor.

I just went on evamist, It is an estrogen that you spray on your inner arm, after you shower each day. I really tried for along time to not take any HRT because of my OvCa. OvCa and breast cancer does not run in my family but being put into surgical menopause at 44 and now at 45 I just need a little something what with the hot flashes and edgeness and anxiety. if because of any reason some blood or sexual liquid of her(i know it is unusual but with accepting this) entered to this deodorant spray in the past and the virus og hiv remain in it and then after she sprayed it the viruses entere to my body(for example from a small hurt in my skin) and infect me. is there any risk of hiv?

Your bodys been through quite a trauma, lubrication is good and handy, have you considered hormones, Estrogen gives back some normal vaginal lubrication. even if you still have your ovarys odds are they are not functioning at 100%.

The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?

All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.

my ttumor was tested and it was estrogen positive i am on an estrogen blocker.. how about asking your doc if the tumor was estrogen positive or not.

With menopause your body stops making estrogen. Eating soy products seems to boost the estrogen a bit, but is that good? I was a regular consumer of soy milk, tofu, edamame and flax seed after menopause. After my diagnosis of breast cancer (estrogen positive) my oncologist recommended I avoid soy products because even the weak phytoestrogens may stimulate cancer cells. Research is not conclusive but better to be safe. As the addage goes, 'all things in moderation.

Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen. I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods. I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.

d suggest trying another triptan. There are lots on the market. I use zomig nasal spray, it works fairly well... not 100%, but, it can stop a lot of my migraines. If zomig doesn't work for you, there are still tons of other triptans on the market.. maxalt... and try different types of delivery methods too. Are you taking tablets. Tablets do NOT work very well AT ALL. Try a triptan in a nasal spray.

Estrogen can negatively effect your breast milk so you may also be put on the mini pill for birth control that does not contain estrogen. This is why I was given an estrogen cream for mu tear....without the estrogen, it takes things longer to heal.

So I stared to spray paint the inside of my cabinets ... lol I know I was going to paint regular but I'm impatient and I had a can of spray paint . So I used it and then went and bought more to finish the job . It's strong though , probably moresstrong than if I had painted regularly . But I had on a dust mask (?) So Idk what do ya think .
