Hi! Can you guys help me out? I had a failed ivf cycle recently and am about to do a frozen cycle. The doctor put me on estrace to thicken my uterus. Today i got a phone call to up it to 6mg am and pm.>>>which seems like a lot! Anyone know the side effects of estrace or what you have experienced?

All medications have side effects of some kind, it comes down to what is worse what the medicine is treating or the side effects. I would talk to your doctor and see what he says and his stats for progesterone.

It's estrogen.. Your numbers have to at a certain level before the transfer. Same side effects as the b/c. Bloating, etc.. Maybe not as bad..

Thanks mhv and heather5 yes, the build up is gross and I took it upon myself to remove the buildup...yuck......and along with the side effects from the crinone and vivelle, I also have OHSS from the IVF cycle....so I'm miserable to say the least.....this is my second round of IVF, second preg, and first experience with OHSS and constipation, nausea and exhaustion....feeling a bit overwhelmed with keeping up with the daily tasks, needing naps when my 2.5 year old naps....

Hello, I was just reading about an older dog having a problem with urinary incontinence and the treatment she was given, particularly the possible side effects. My White Bearded Collie (13 years old) started being incontinent last year and my vet has prescribed INCURIN 1mg daily. This has been mostly effective (just the odd occurrence when she was asleep or distressed). I was just concerned that it may have some serious side effects such as those mentioned for the other treatment (PPA).

Some sites even stated I should have been on HCG during my therapy to reduce the side effects of shrinking testicles, which I have experienced. HCG is supposed to reverse this so I'm wondering if this is what I need, or just another supplement I can buy to help me feel better and energetic again. My doctor has given me no suggestions or recommendations so ANY help is much appreciated!!!

I am going for IUI #2 on wednesday. I was on follistim last week but on saturday, my dr said I wasn't responding well to it and switched me to menapur. I am on 3 days of that but i only have 2 follicles on the left side that are large enough (20 and 18) and all the ones on the right are still too small - the largest at a little over 10. I have to do my trigger shot tonight.

It is from IVF meds like Femara, Estrogen Patch, Menopur.

I am very similar to you, and currently on my 1st IVf, day 2 of stims. My IUI last month I started w/ 150 Menopur then increased to 300 Menopur.. I produced 2 frikkin follicles. Now for my IVF I am STARTING on 300 Gonal-f in a.m. and 300 Menopur in p.m. My FSH ranges from 7-12. We will be doing AH and emergency ICSI (if needed). I started with 12-13 antral follicles, so we'll see tomorrow how many are growing.

If you have the info that comes with your meds (estrogen and progesterone mostly to blame) it lists the side effects. I had my beta 10dpt with a 5day embryo. I have only had one 3day transfer... the rest were 5day transfers. Did you have your estrogen and progesterone checked about a week after transfer? If it were me, I think I would do a hpt today. I think it would help me accept the outcome and I would certainly want to know and have another beta drawn if it were positive.

However, I had NO watery or eggwhite cervical mucus before O this month. I know that can be one of the side effects, but I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem? And if so, are you are taking estrogen to help produce more fertile cm? By the way, I tried guafinesin, green tea, grapefruit juice and EPO in the days leading up to O, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Hi All, I'm hoping someone here can help me. I was supposed to start my estrace (E2) patch today (10 DPO) and then onto an IVF stim at the beginning of next AF. So this morning, I stuck one of the patches (.1mg) on my left rear cheek and after about 6 hours, I had very bad chest pains. I have never felt like that before. It hurt badly to take deep breaths and I was just lying on the bed afraid to move because my chest was hurting so much.

I didn't have any side effects except pregnancy, lol but some people may have them although not sure about the specific ones you asked about.

Are there any side effects with this disease other than the outbreaks? I'm having an issue with vaginal lubrication and I was diagnosed 3 years ago. And I'm wondering if this virus could be the reason.

I am also a breast cancer survivor, however as I am triple negative, the hormonal drugs are not effective for me so unfortunately I cant speak from experience. However, that doesn't mean that I cant find out some interesting information for you in relation to libido and Arimidex.

I just had my first injection of hydroxyprogesterone caproate last night and am a little nervous about side effects. I had my 3dt on 5/21 and got my official BFP from my RE on Wed. I'm transitioning from daily progesterone in oil to the weekly hydroxyprogesterone and am also on Vivelle estrogen patches. Won't it be nice when our pregnancies actually become OURS???

Well, I don't really have a success story exactly, but my ob (not RE) put me on crinone for a month & I had very little side effects on it.....it's kind of messy & you may be a bit sore sown there after you've been on it for a while but not bad. I didn't get prego, but it was only my first cycle after my DnC & I don't think my body was ready.

I have some ideas abt Ivf but not iui , cause am doing Ivf day 7 on meds and am really worried didn't get so good news yesterday.
