Enlarged breasts are one of the first and most noticeable side effects to appear in men when estrogen levels are elevated. This is known as gynecomastia and a few other names in the gym too. Other side effects include loss of muscle tone, a decrease in body hair, shrinking testes, depression, fatigue, lower energy levels,
poor memory, low stress tolerance, an ncrease in fat around the mid-section (belly fat) and erectile dysfunction.
Some sites even stated I should have been on HCG during my therapy to reduce the side effects of shrinking testicles, which I have experienced. HCG is supposed to reverse this so I'm wondering if this is what I need, or just another supplement I can buy to help me feel better and energetic again. My doctor has given me no suggestions or recommendations so ANY help is much appreciated!!!
Are there any side effects with this disease other than the outbreaks? I'm having an issue with vaginal lubrication and I was diagnosed 3 years ago. And I'm wondering if this virus could be the reason.
What I found interesting, was that after looking at my favorite top 5, increase and decrease in libido was not even mentioned although they were quick to note side effects such as depression, vaginal dryness and legathy.
Even the official website for Arimidex itself and the "largest known site for the most comprehensive list of side effects" doesn't touch libido...at all.

If you go to chemocare.com you can read all the side effects of Tamoxifen. What you mention are all listed there. The weight gain no doubt is due to fluid retention which is one of the side effects. You might discuss changing drugs with your Oncologist as there are others available but keep in mind that they all have similar side effecfts even though you mjight not experience them to the same degree. I am a 45 year old women who has been very active. I ran two half marathans in the past year. The most recent in May. In July I was diagnosed with DVT and PE. I am on Coumadin. I am having side effects which some doctors don't really recognize as side effect. However, there are many instances on discusson boards of people with the same side effects. I understand what you are saying. You are noticing behavior similar to what I have noticed in my husband. It is difficult to explain to anyone else, but you know what is normal for him. So, I think if I take both of these in the right proportions, the side effects would cancel and the antiandrogen effects combine. Another possibility is to use GNRH antagonist. I think GNRH antagonist would be better if not too expensive.
The best and only permanent solution is orchiectomy. I know that this is irreversible, and will prevent me from ever having children. I think that I am not mature and responsible enough to be a good father, and believe the world is overpopulated with humans.
Waringblender - I know you had said that there are no long-term side effects of this drug in terms of permanent damage but was just curious as this drug notes that it works for up to 4 hours however after having sex every day over the weekend, I'm still able to get my guy goin relatively easily even after 4 days.
