1053407 tn?1352030371 I went and seen my doc.
Avatar m tn I took a saliva test to test my Estrogen levels (Estradiol) and I'm confused about the results. I'm sure its just a conversion thing but I can't seem to find any information on it. I have read that a normal Estradiol range for men is between 20 pg/ml and 40 pg/ml, however my numbers look a little different and I'm not sure how to compare.
Avatar n tn For the most part, it has an inverse relationship to estrogen level. Since you do not have ovaries and do not take estrogen, it makes sense that your FSH is high. I also do not have ovaries but I take estrogen. When my estrogen level gets rather high, my FSH is low (in the range of a menstruating woman). When my estrogen is on the lower side, my FSH rises.
Avatar f tn After 6 full weeks of DAILY FAITHFUL USE (applied only to my hips/abdomen) - and 6 months since my last blood test, my new estrogen level was 2,376!!!!! My doctor called and had me come in for an immediate ultrasound of my overies - NORMAL! I will have another blood test today. WHAT ELSE should I be concerned about here - and WHAT ELSE should my doctor be looking for?? By the way, my 'doctor' is actually a nurse practitioner....
Avatar m tn Another factor that can reduce the testo levels in obese persons is the high level of estrogen, which is also used by the brain to assess the teso level. You could probably check the estrogen and SHBG levels also. In any case, I do not feel you need to go for TRT, only my opinion, you should check up with your doctor.
Avatar n tn The TSH is a stress level Sally - If estrogen induced low thyroid - then getting off estrogen now pregnant could be normalizing. She's too early in this to assume thyroid meds are going to help. Yet I do understand where you are coming from on the 1st trimester.
Avatar f tn I did a hormonal imbalance test and it turns out my estrogen level is at 203. The doctor told me to eat healthy, no carbs and no sugar. They also say irregular period is due to stress. I did my research stress leads to high estrogen. So I am guessing that is what causing it to be high. But I also read eating foods with lots of vitamins (ex. Selenium. Melatonin, vitamin b, magnesium, etc.) helps reduce it. But all this time I've been on a diet and I have been eating all of that.
877337 tn?1249844450 I was curious with my latest test results so I was doing a little research. I read at one site that the estrogen level could effect the T3 results. I'm not real sure if I understand this. I'm not on any type of estrogen med, only the anti-thyroid and beta blocker but I did start my cycle the night before the test. My T3 was elevated 15 points in a three week period and while on Methimazole.
655897 tn?1328018445 My estrogen level is over 2000. I am on day 11 of my Gonal F shot and will take at least one more shot tomorrow on day 12. My IUi will probably be on Wednesday. Does this estrogen level seem really high to anyone? For those of you who have gotten hyperstimulated, what was your level close to the time of the trigger shot or IUI? I have to go in again tomorrow for u/s and b/w.
Avatar f tn im 33 yo,6yrs trying to get pregnant, recently my repro-endo told me that im not ovulating bec of low estrogen level, and as of now she doesnt know the root cause of having low estrogen, since all my bloodtests were normal..is there anybody out there who experience the same thing..right now my ob instruct me to inject gonal-f.to help stimulate my eggcells..very depressing, frustrating, sometimes i want to give up and loosing hope..pls help me..
Avatar n tn Well, I'm really not sure if what a low estrogen level on day 3 indicates. According to fertility plus, you're levels are just below the normal range for day 3 (25-75), but they also say that the lower range is better than higher, since a high estrogen level can indicate lower ovarian reserve. Sorry I couldn't be more help...
126702 tn?1240888250 There is no mid-luteal level that predicts pregnancy. Some say the test may be more accurate if done first thing in the morning after fasting. The test should be done around 7 dpo. Here's the link to the general info about all of the hormone levels: http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.
Avatar f tn My estrogen level was low at my last blood test which was 5 days after a 5dt. It was 47 and they said it should be around 100. They gave me supplements to take twice a day. This happened to me last try and it didn't work. Has anyone else had low estrogen like me and still had a positive pregnancy test?
Avatar n tn Hi, One lady I know stated that sometimes she was estrogen predominant and adding more estrogen causes her to have anxiety and panic attack Your level of estrogen probably fluctuates to the high side so being on more estrogen can cause anxiety or panic attack. You are at perimenopausal stage and your hormone still fluctuates a lot. One blood test does not really indicate you estrogen stays that way. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Avatar m tn I would think you meant heavily built, and in that case, your low T could be caused by higher level of estrogen in your body, do you know your estrogen counts? If in fact high estrogen is the culprit, you should not only keep away from estrogen pills and estrogen rich food, but also try to bring it down by regular exercise and balanced food intake, there by reducing your weight. Reducing your estrogen level will naturally push up your T level.
Avatar n tn Ask the doctor. He or she might want to test your estrogen level in your blood, or might just interpret that the hot flushes mean your estrogen level is a little low.
368461 tn?1291515587 I also dont think higher than normal fsh alone is a good indicator of egg quality. You need an fsh test along with AMH, estrogen, progesterone, to get a true picture of that. (Mine was 11.4 when we first started TTC and I had endometriosis surgery and it went down to 5.5.) So what I mean is there are other factors that can make your fsh go up or down. Anyway, hope some of this helped good luck to you.
Avatar f tn The nurse told me that my estrogen levels are a bit too high and that I should NOT take my clomid this month. Today is my cd 5 and my estrogen level is 162. Can anyone help me to understand what this means and why can I not do clomid this cycle? I am trying to conceive my first child and am very confused.
655897 tn?1328018445 Hi kmcarino! I'm honestly not sure what's a normal estrogen level after O...don't think I've ever had that checked before in the 2WW...but your progesterone level sounds great! And the cramps could be a good sign too! Best of luck this month!!!
945508 tn?1259156758 The estrogen level usually drops after egg retrieval since many estrogen producing cells are also removed along with the eggs. Estrogen can be used as a patch or as tablets. http://www.ivfmd.net/Treatment/treatment2.htm Make sure your RE is monitoring your estrogen level after your transfer and not waiting until your hcg...
Avatar n tn You should also have an fsh test, day 21 progesterone test, estrogen, thyroid, to get a true picture of your egg reserve, quality, and whether or not you are ovulating and how well. My fsh was 12-14 but after I had a polyp, cyst, and endometriosis removed it went down to 5.5. My amh was also low .7 but with the help of a good RE and medications we were able to successfully have a little girl. Good luck to you.
865758 tn?1285952904 Previous to that my OB/GYN diagnosed me with low estrogen. My estradiol level was 42. When my endo doc ran the TPO antibody test he also checked my testosterone levels and they have come back high. Does the thyroid cause all these other imbalances as well? My endo suggested peri menopause because of the Hashimoto's and I have all the symptoms but afraid that it is just the thyroid messing everything up.
Avatar n tn I have had blood tests showing a pm Cortisol blood level of 4.4. My Dr says this is 'normal'. I suspect adrenal fatigue and have thyroid and blood sugar problems which I am receiving medication for (at low doses). Is 4.4 a low level? And if so, what can I do about it?
Avatar f tn Only part I can answer is about the yeast infection. I had a yeast infection a week and half ago and was 1cm dilated and could still take the meds, it just feels weird putting it in since you're dilated.
1139187 tn?1355706647 Long story short, a month later my testosterone level is 615, i do have more energy and getting some morning wood now. When i saw the test results, it said my estrogen was 58. The range on the test was up to 57. Should i be worried about this?
