1053407 tn?1352030371 I went and seen my doc.
655897 tn?1328018445 My estrogen level is over 2000. I am on day 11 of my Gonal F shot and will take at least one more shot tomorrow on day 12. My IUi will probably be on Wednesday. Does this estrogen level seem really high to anyone? For those of you who have gotten hyperstimulated, what was your level close to the time of the trigger shot or IUI? I have to go in again tomorrow for u/s and b/w.
Avatar f tn Heather is correct, after my IVF I was not monitored for estrogen at all. I had estrogen supplements once a day but that wsa it.
Avatar n tn I had two failed ivf and I had never checked my estrogen level after each transfer. Is it something your doctor should do it? After each transfer I was injecting progesterone oil for two weeks until the blood work at the doctor's office. What is that Estradiol for?
Avatar f tn in addition to the size of the follicles, your estrogen level is also looked at. do you know your estrogen level? your doc probably wants to give the 2 follicles on the left ovary more time to get bigger and hopefully not loose the largest one. worse case scenario, you loose the largest one but are able to retrieve the other two on the left. when the follicle is too small, they may not able to retrieve it. again, it is a combination of your estrogen level and the size of the follicle.
Avatar f tn The nurse just called and said that after 4 days on Follistim/Menopur, my estrogen levels were "a little low" at 98 and they want to up my Follistim dose. Does anyone know what a "normal" estrogen level is at this stage? I asked her and she just said "oh, it's just a little low" but didn't answer my question.
945508 tn?1259156758 The estrogen level usually drops after egg retrieval since many estrogen producing cells are also removed along with the eggs. Estrogen can be used as a patch or as tablets. http://www.ivfmd.net/Treatment/treatment2.htm Make sure your RE is monitoring your estrogen level after your transfer and not waiting until your hcg...
1047147 tn?1328906154 I was thinking, Of course while we all go through this process of Ivf we ask ourselves questions thats why i love this forum. My fsh level previous times was 12, then 9.2 and now 4....after one 3cm fibroid removal.. I was on estrace/estradiol and progesterone..for a month. Is this a temporary estrogen fix as i would call it, will my fsh levels rise again.. The Re says my levels are perfect right now and will proceed with putting me back on lupron and etc....
Avatar n tn I called my RE and they did blood tests this morning and my prog. level was 2.5 and my estrogen level was extremely low as well. They suggested that I double the dose of prog. and begin using 4 estrogen patches. Common sense tells me this pregnancy attempt is over with and if so I would like to discontinue meds and get ready for a frozen cycle.
Avatar f tn Not sure what your estrogen level should be? they never told me estrogen and progesterone levels....guess they thought that was for them to worry about! Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.....
Avatar f tn When I did IVF, they would monitor my estrogen level and adjust the amount they gave me. It is for the uterus lining, but everyone is different. If your doctor does not monitor you closely, you might consider using a different doctor.
Avatar n tn I am not sure about estrogen levels and how they supposed to vary but I was taking estrogen supplements after ivf transfer. So, you can definitely supplement. Good luck!
1493378 tn?1288707991 i still don't know what to think right now, i'm so stressed and worried that this cycle might be cancelled...with my 1st round (failed) of IVF, my estradiol level was 21 pg/ml & my prolactin level was above normal, but the doctor prescribed dostinex for elevated prolactin..now my estradiol level was <21 pg/ml & prolactin level again is above normal...i'm so confused & gettin' nervous right now...
Avatar f tn This is my 5th ivf and the first strong positive. My second postive was a level 11 which failed. Today my level was a 111 which is 2 weeks after my transfer. Is this a really good number. I grateful and happy but I was hoping for twins considering my 37 years of age and my 5th ivf. Do anyone know of someone with the same or similar 111 hcg level for the first blood test and actually had twins or more.
205230 tn?1237405193 My first time around began last June of 07. My FSH level was 7. something and my estrogen level was around 200 something. Now my estrogen level was 11. What happened??? Why in only 7 months has my levels tripled??? Now they say I should use a donor egg but I am not wanting to take that route. I want to try again using my own. Is this silly?? HAS anyone out there gotten pregnant with a high FSH level????
Avatar f tn hi lupron is to control ovulation stimulation, main use is for ovulation.goodluck to u,is this ur 2nd ivf???iam doing my 2nd IVF transfer tomorrow.my 1st IVF failed too in feb.
Avatar f tn My retrieval is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10:30am. I triggered last night at 10:30pm. For the past day and a half though, I've been getting a ton of the egg white cervical mucous. I'm so nervous that I'm going to accidently ovulate before retrieval. Is the egg white cervical mucous (EWCM) normal during the IVF cycle? I've heard we get EWCM because of elevated estrogen levels, which anyone going through IVF obviously has, but I just want to make sure.
Avatar n tn With the number of follicles you have your estrogen level seems fine to me. Mine was just over 7,000 on day 11 of stimming (Gonal F) and the level was still going up. I was told that as long as it is not over 15,000 then that’s fine. Hope that helps. Sticky baby dust to you!
Avatar f tn 16 is a high enough level for them to implant. With this pregnancy my prog level was only an 11 and that was taken at 14dpo. Doc did put me on 400mg prometrium until I was 12 weeks along. I am now 22 weeks and all is well. Good Luck!
Avatar m tn Hi wishwash! I'm not really sure what a normal estrogen level is after IVF, but her progesterone is definitely good! I'm pretty sure the estrogen is good too! If it makes you feel any better, I did IVF, too, and my doctor never tested my levels after the transfer. I believe he said the different supplements affect the blood stream differently, and that as long as I take them as directed, everything should be fine. And I guess he was right...I'm now 12 weeks pregnant!
Avatar f tn Can l get pregnant naturally or must l have to go for IVF. lf IVF can l still use my own eggs. l will appreciate any advice, thank. This discussion is related to estrogen and fsh question.
Avatar f tn Hello,I'm new here, but like everyone else, been through hell, hoping, and looking for answers! I'm 36 and just had my first embryo transfer this past Monday, 7/13. Today, day 4 after the transfer, the doc's office called that my estrogen level from yesterday's blood work was a "little lower then we'd like it to be" 97, and progesterone 20+. He's starting my on estrace today.
Avatar f tn As follicles/eggs mature, the estrogen level rises. Estrogen levels are useful in determining the degree of egg maturity If the follicle is too small, the lining too thin, and the estrogen level too low, this is related to a condition called follicular immaturity. With follicular immaturity, the egg itself is immature when it is ovulated and will not fertilize well Q: What should estradiol (E2) level be at time of hCG trigger? A: The E2 level should be 200-600pg/ml per 18mm follicle.
