Avatar f tn t do soy protein. Soy has estrogen in it.
Avatar f tn The fact you seemed to easily put on muscle indicates your testosterone is there. There is no normal penis size, so that's a non-issue. The question there is, does it work, not how big it is. We come in all sizes and shapes and maybe this is just yours. But if you're truly concerned, see your doctor and get a blood test for sexual hormones.
Avatar f tn t heard of a diet to help this but I do know that estrogen dominance can have a role in it. Google estrogen dominance and you will see some things you can do to help reduce that and some may be food related. Good luck with your recovery.

Avatar n tn Hi, Well if it's not a yeast infection, not cottage cheese like, doesn't have an odor or off color such as green or yellow, it could just be an increase in discharge if it's before your period. If there is a chance you are pregnant, it could be that the exercising caused an increase of estrogen (sp?) production and blood flow to the vagina. Sometimes though, those large lumps of white discharge can be an indicate infection. If it continues, I'd say to have it checked out.
Avatar f tn Alternatively, if you are post menopausal, then decreased estrogen levels may be leading to decreased moisture in the vaginal tissues, which can be fixed with vaginal estrogen therapy. If the intercourse pain is a "scratchy" pain, then it may be related to the vaginal dryness, fixable with lubricants. If the pain is more deep and dull, then it may be related to pelvic floor muscle spasm, and may require attention by a pelvic floor physical therapist. Dr.
Avatar m tn Cervical mucus and vaginal secretions at other times of the month are thinner, and/or more milky, but when you are young you can have pretty lush cervical mucus at all times due to your great estrogen flows. (When I was on a lot of hormones for IVF, I had thick vaginal secretions all the time from the estrogen.) If it is thick like cottage cheese and not holding together like eggwhite, it is possible you have a yeast infection. (Especially likely if you take antibiotics for your skin.
429647 tn?1249753429 only to find out that her cancer is estrogen postive and probably caused or in some part aided in the growth of her masses. This is a very touchy subject on this forum, and as much as I love and adore Mary, she and I are on opposite sides on this one. Flashes are horrid, I will agree that I have had a really tough time with them as well as the other symptoms of menopause....but, you know what....I am alive. Gather all the facts you can....best of luck.
Avatar f tn The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?
Avatar f tn Then I went to another gyno who said that recent studies have proved that estrogen only with uterus in tact is safer that in fact it's the progesterone that is toxic. Is anyone receiving the same advice?
Avatar f tn Thank you for your last response. I did see a dermatologist and she said the marks on my legs were sun spots. However now I have many other questions. Mt Melanoma was "in situ", which I hear is great. But now I am trying to do all I can to prevent it from coming back. I have recently read that both estrogen and vitamin C have been linked to increasing Melanoma. Is this true?
