if you go above the minimum dose of clomid needed for ovulation, fertility actually can decline, and rate of miscarriage can increase. if you don't get pregnant after the first, second or third cycle of an ovulatory dose of clomid, don't despair. the chances of getting pregnant each ovulatory cycle on clomid are about 15%, which is slightly below the normal rate of fertility each month for women who have no infertility. so keep trying.

I have already ovulated last week according to monitor but it keeps telling me to test. When I do test it comes out low fertility. If I am pregnant would estrogen be high enough to be detected as a high value instead of a low value?

hello. my daughter is 20 and has been on the pill for 3-4 yrs. 5 wks ago she came off the pill so she could fall pregnant. Being late with her period she had a blood test done yesterday, the results were through today. the doctor told us that she was not pregnant and that the chances of her having a child at all was extremly slim as she had vertualy no production of estragen or progesterone. The doctor said she was in menopause and that he would like to do tests on her..

Estrogen is in the fat - testosterone in the skim part. Drinking skim instead of whole gives you more testosterone and we women need estrogen for a healthy pregnancy - that is why you should eat whole milk, regular ice cream etc. Other than the milk part I didn't get much from it.

Theres is many treatments for endo, the "pill" for one or just progestin, did you have a lap for diagnosis?

It kills up to 95% of the estrogen in your body. I'm hoping it works for OVCA; it's in clinical trials for it now (it's used for breast cancer at the moment.) And hey, at least you're entering menopause as your winter is approaching in Australia. Happy hot flashes!

Hey what is the purpose for estrogen meds. My Doc put me on them and he said he wants me to start them next month if my cycle comes.... What good does this do for me?

in april of this year i was seeing a fertility specialist who had told me that my fsh levels were high for my age (32). she then had me do another blood test and again called me with bad news stating they are high and thats not good. (I plan on doing the IVF procedure because i have one tube and it's damaged with scar tissue and the one i used to have was destroyed from a very bad ectopic pregnancy. i do however have a healthy 13 yr old so i should be ok for IVF, or so i hope.

Well your progesterone looks lovely. Most REs will keep you until week 8-12 but almost everyone I know went to a regular OB around week 8.

I was prescribed estrogen last year bc not only did i lose my cycle i lost my sexdrive i didnt have a cycle between july and may put me on estrogen in like feb didnt have one for july aug sept now its bck and very light mainly on see it wen i wipe but des cramps are unreal #dr visit so self medicating at home wasnt going anywheres

I was taking both + BeePolen then my Doc told me that my estrogen level is high. Do you think that those played a role to increase my estrogen level?

If I were you, I would head back for a blood test. I understand that sometimes fertility drugs can mess up a hpt. Sorry, I know not super helpful. I do wish you luck though, I hope you are!!

If not, I need to go back on birth control until my estrogen lowers. THis is all I know for now.

I was wondering what the medical explanation was for why fertility drugs cause cysts? If you do get a cysts at the end of a cycle, does that mean you never had a chance of getting pg from that cycle? Is there anything a person can do to prevent the cysts? I did several cycles of Clomid with no cysts; then one cycle of Femara that produced 2 cysts. Now I'm ending another cycle of Femara and believe that I have cysts again.
