Avatar f tn I have been doing really well (emotionally and physically) since the procedure and started taking Estrogen Tuesday upon returning home from the hospital. I previously took the same Estrogen dosage I am currently taking in April of this year to be sure my body could handle the medicine. I am 33 years old and have had 2 children (ages 10 and 4). Today I have been struggling with my emotions and have not been able to sleep since I woke up at 7:00 a.m.
Avatar f tn So today is a really bad one? My emotions are down and nothing I do today seems positive. I know this emotional rollercoaster is normal but this is all steaming from this stupid dental infection and because of the antibiotics I have a yeast infection and I feel even lower.. I got the creme but can't shake that dirty feeling like I did something wrong. This is my first yeast infection in my life!
Avatar f tn it really does get to the point where i cant even talk to people about my emotions without crying or tearing up even if its something as simple as my friends just giving me advice on how to solve an issue. i will even cry when talking to my doctor\.. and theres no reason for it. I guess what i want to know is this normal should i talk to my doctor about getting some treatment?
Avatar f tn As I've mentioned in my previous post, I have the strong feeling that I have a hormone imbalance. For 3 years, I've been overemotional/irritable/nervous, have had light/skipped periods, persistent acne,(I'm 20 and I don't feel like this should be happening), and hot flashes. These problems have gotten progressively worse over the years. The problem is though, that I feel like I have the symptoms of both estrogen dominance and estrogen deficiency.
Avatar f tn My RE had me come in that same day and drew some blood. My estrogen was at 60.1 and my progesterone at 17.9. So he upped my dosage of progesterone from 1 ml to 1 1/2 ml and he added to estrogen patches every other day. Today it's 8dpt my spotting comes and goes sometimes I swear AF is about to start and other times I wipe and there barely is anything. I am really going insane with emotions yesterday I finally broke I couldn't stop crying.
1419937 tn?1302557849 That's why I started taking it. I don't know what's best, but I've heard bad things about Yaz (the one I'm taking). That it has twice as much estrogen than any other birth control and it will make you go crazy pretty much, have crazy emotions (in my case, crazier).
Avatar f tn I absolutely do NOT feel like my old self and I have gone through all of the emotions, right now I just NEED some answers. I feel my absolute best as soon as I wake up every morning and I feel normal when I yawn but as the day progresses I feel more and more fogged. You know when you spin in a circle and you get really dizzy but then the dizziness wears off?
Avatar f tn HRT implant may be a good option if they will give you a high enough d5osage of estrogen especially with the first few implants since you have probably been estrogen deficient for awhile. 25 to 50 mg estrogen would seem reasonable to start.
Avatar f tn The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?
Avatar m tn All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.
429647 tn?1249753429 my ttumor was tested and it was estrogen positive i am on an estrogen blocker.. how about asking your doc if the tumor was estrogen positive or not.
587083 tn?1327120262 With menopause your body stops making estrogen. Eating soy products seems to boost the estrogen a bit, but is that good? I was a regular consumer of soy milk, tofu, edamame and flax seed after menopause. After my diagnosis of breast cancer (estrogen positive) my oncologist recommended I avoid soy products because even the weak phytoestrogens may stimulate cancer cells. Research is not conclusive but better to be safe. As the addage goes, 'all things in moderation.
Avatar n tn Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.
Avatar m tn Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen. I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods. I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.
Avatar n tn s 46) had a complete hysterectomy 6 months ago and is unable to ever receive HRT due to health reasons. As a result she experiences intense uncontrollable emotions. I believe she is very depressed and i am concerned to the extent to which she may be so. Medically there is nothing they can do. Im trying to support her but i dont know how. Does anyone have any advice on how i could deal with this or how long she is likely to feel like this? Thanks!
1316708 tn?1310916182 My Emotions are wild and I feel jumpy and off track and I don't know what to do ...I feel like it is too much to handle..I had stopped having my Periods for a few Months and then they started again and I was not naturally moved into menopause. I moved into it from having Cancer and the Chemo treatments made me go into menopause. So now I have been Very Emotional with them making my life hard to deal with. 1544019 tn?1318504526 I had a FET on 2/23 and am now currently six weeks pregnant. I have so many hormones coursing through my body right now! My hcg levels are really high. Plus, my husband gives me 2ml of progesterone shot every morning and estrogen twice a week. I've been SUPER exhausted. All I want to do is sleep! And I'm emotional too. My husband wants me to go on prozac during pregnancy because, he claims, I "turn into a puddle of tears" too often.
Avatar f tn My previous doctor tried me in Effexor instead of estrogen for extreme menopausal symptoms and migraines because the clinic now refuses to prescribe estrogen to anyone. I had been on low dose (.25 mg) estrogen every other day over 25 years since I had to have a hysterectomy when I was in my 30s. On Effexor I could not even function. I could only work for a few minutes at a time and then would feel exhausted and unable to concentrate so I had to lie down. I cried all the time.
Avatar f tn im about to be 13. so maybe it is nothing, but i haven't started my period, gotten pubic hair, or boobs yet. and according to my family history all this tended to happen at age 11 and younger. I am very athletic and i know that could possibly be part of it, but it worries me. i've considered getting my mother to take me to the doctor and see if i can get estrogen pills. but i don't think it is that drastic yet. could it possibly be something serious, or am i just overreacting? p.
Avatar f tn Im 18 weeks I cry so easily I try to stop as quickly as I can but its so hard I cried at the cooking channel three days ago.
