When I did IVF and they took me off my highest estrogen dose when the cycle failed, I not only had the sadness of the cycle failure to deal with, but also the crash - crash - crash of one hot flash after another, all night when I couldn't sleep. Extremely unpleasant. Hope real menopause is not like that.
What the RE told me is that you can 'crash' quickly and estrogen drops and you lose everything, so that maybe why they took you early - just a theory!
I have heard of half-doses of the trigger, but I haven't heard about taking early...even when I had OHSS, I did half-dose but they waited the typical 36 hours...

I tried the mini pill after my first. I also breastfed. I couldnt remember to take it every day (before I used the patch) so we jusy had to be carefully because I didn't want to use an estrogen based BC because of breastfeeding. I may have ovulated im not sure but I didn't ever get my period u ntill I weaned just after his first birthday. This time I plan on getting the rod. I think it's called emplinon. It's no estrogen and works for 3 years.
Remember, too, that Surgical menopause alone can do a number on you. Granted, not everyone will suffer the same symptoms, but when you think that Estrogen alone is responsible for over 400 functions in the body and now in Surgical menopause (regular menopause allows for at least diminished estrogen and testosterone until you hit the 70's and 80's.) you have no supply from the ovaries (body fat and adrenals take over production to a certain extent).
Considering the fact that my body no longer produces estrogen .. and because of that risk factor I have not taken any estrogen meds .. could this realy be a contributor at this point?
As far as the nsaids .. they had me on suldinac and that was not working at all .. so I stopped taking it.
Do you have any other suggestions as far a medications that could be useful? What type of chemo ? Radiation?

Iv'e gone from mixed states for several months to mania (as a result of a med). The mani was great for a change other than feeling like my insides were running a 100 miles an hour. This is unusual for me. Usually I have the "Bad" mania. Well, today I crashed! Back to no energy, hopelessness, self pitty, crying on an off, impatient, anger easily etc. I think I'm back in mixed states. The story of my life, one episode after the other.
Last Sat , i was in a car crash. I hit my head really bad on the steering wheel and blacked out. Its been three days since the crash. My parents bought me a new car. But i can't put myself behind the wheel. When we drive by were the crash was . I curl up begging to go a different way. I haven't been able to sleep for days or eat for days. I want to drive but I'm scared I'm going to get In to another crash. I need help what to do.
Five days ago I was in a bus crash in Malawi in Africa. The only cut I received was about half a centimetre long on my knuckle and not deep at all, but was bleeding similar to a paper cut. As far as I am aware the wound did not come into contact with anyone else’s blood, but I did have to climb over people in the pitch black to get out. However, I did not see anyone elses blood on my skin. I sucked on the cut as well.
I have been told you can go on PEP up to a week after exposure.
The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2.

All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.
Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.
Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen.
I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods.
I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.
When to the new clinic my sis recommended and for once, they actually checked my hormone levels. Seems I was what he calleld estrogen dominent, and was also in perimenopause. while my estrogen is slightly decresed, my progesterone was non exisit. and as my testosterone levels. I have been taking a compounded cream once a day that contain 40mg progesterone/5mg testosterone .
ve recently been diagnosed with type II diabetes and still adjusting my medication and when I had a sugar crash yesterday at lunch I over did my sugar in take and had a sugar spike. It exhausted me, gave me first sweats then chills, nausea all afternoon. I've tried all night eating small portions and hope this morning I would feel better. But now that I'm up I'm still shaking and my blood sugar is 135. How long will I get like this and should I go back to my old dosage.
