I have tried washing often durning the day and putting baby diaper rash cream and cortizone and powder on it and nothing helps. What can be causing this and how do it fix it?
In 90-95% of cases, the symptoms disappear within 2 years. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Anyway I don't know what stage I am, go to see the specialist on 9/01. But I have this rash...little red bumps that were on my right arm. Went to my doc and he gave me a cream. But now I have what looks like small bug bits on my chest and left are and everytime I itch them it's like the blood vessels around them break. It's gross. Has anyone had this???? HELP!
2-3 days before my period. I am on a birth control pill. The gyno said that I possibly had too much estrogen in the pills, and we've tried a butt-ton of different ones. Nothing seems to deplete whatever these "attacks" are I'm having every month. Let me explain. Every month, I wake up with a KILLER MIGRAINE. Like, I've been partying for days and days... such a sickening headache. I have thrown up multiple times from them being so bad in the past- can't keep my eyes open.
My daughter gets a rash all over her chest and neck just before her cycle. I did this when I was younger and when on birth control pills. I was told this was an allergic reaction to estrogen. Once I stopped taking birth control I can count on 1 hand the number of times I have had the rash myself but my daughter is having a very hard time with this. What can be used to help treat this rash?
like today i had off from work, and didnt do alot of walking around and the rash, itch and slight discharge disappeared lol i think its some kind of heat rash i have no idea.
I am currently being treated for back and neck injuries after a car wreck with cortisone injections and patches, and am on a bio-identical hormone replacement therapy regimine which includes estrogen, progesterone and testostrone. No changes in enviroment or external factors such as laundry detergent or soaps. Any ideas?
Due to rapid changes in estrogen and progesterone levels during this period, skin tends to become more fragile and sensitive and rashes can come up. Maintain good genital hygiene especially during menstruation when the vaginal flora may be disrupted. If there is any itching involved, you can take antihistaminics like benadryl or Claritin and if there is any pain, then you can take anti-inflammatory pain killer like ibuprofen. If the symptoms worsen, pls consult a gynecologist for evaluation.
It doesn't look like a normal heat rash, and if it is then that would be odd for me to get there. Here are the facts: 1. Started Wednesday (thought it was a new body spray, but haven't used any perfume since) 2. Does not hurt, or itch. If anything, just my right side of my neck hurts when I stretch it to look up 3. No bumps, or hives. 4. Smooth as a baby's behind...literally and so odd I have no idea what to put on it, because I don't know if it is a true rash.
in 45 days) I M now steady @ 123. I have had heart problems N the past. I have a rash on my arms and legs - has never gone away. Doctors dont seemed 2 concerned about it though. Also my legs, ankles and feet swell. Whether its hot or cold they swell. I M starting 2 get dark spots on my legs where the blood vessels have popped. I am not sure if this is normal, but I am only 29! I have no children and would love 2 have some of my own someday. I do get headaches alot.
Discharge and odour is normal with slightly less discharge during following rash development than usual, The rash is soothed and tends to go away with extra virgin olive oil application. I am on amitriptyline for headaches and not sexually active. Any indications as to whether this is more than general vaginal dryness and hormonal imbalance and/or a solution would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, I have a rash consisting of some very small red bumps on my left upper back/neck, shoulder, and chest. It is somewhat itchy and has a burning feeling. Clothing and the seat belt irritate it. My doctor tried an antibiotic first; it has been almost a week, and there is no change. Blood tests (white cell count was one of them) turned up normal. I am awaiting the results of a chest x-ray.
The palmer surface of my hands get very red and warm as well as both cheeks and bridge of nose. The rash on the face and hands is red, warm and feels like a sunburn. The rash on my legs(and sometimes on my arms) is violet/red and blotchy. The rash is not palpable, red/violet in color, blanchable, and non-pruritic. The joint swelling has been fairly consitent, while the rash will improve and then worsen multiple times throughout the day.
When the body needs to make cortisol, it uses up too much pregnenelone. Pregn. also makes testosterone and estrogen. If too much is used for cortisol, you have low levels of hormones as a result. Hormonal imbalance leads to acne. The reason eliminating gluten helps some people is because it's an inflammatory food. And most people eat it several times a day. Remember, the body responds to inflammation with cortisol. So basically, you have to clean your diet up.
I had a rash on my arms and legs before tx. It was itchy and ugly. The bumps were irregular shaped and kind of purple. Not small, but not big. It was Lichen Plantus. This is a skin disorder associated with Hep C. My Dematologist gave me cream that cleared it up pretty well. What is interesting is that the skin stuff (I also had OTHER skin lessions that were horrible) all seemed to go away when I started tx. At least that is one thing that could possibly happen that is good!
and finding information and making decisions that you will get it all done before you realize it. Don't do anything rash, just take it one day at a time and find out your options. Best of wishes to you and I hope that you are able to find yourself clear of hcv someday.
Also - just curious - if anyone noticed it better or worse dependant on weight gain or loss?? I've recently gained about 15 lbs and the rash is far worse than ever before.
I googled the itching and was thinking maybe I had low estrogen or allergies and then I've also read about how it could be liver related. ( I recently over the last few weeks started itching everywhere, my arms, legs, feet, head, etc., but they don't itch til I scratch it raw, so I'm sure this is something unrelated.) I don't have any discharge or itching or pain inside the labia or vagina. Could it be yeast or some kind of fungal infection?
So I have had this rash on my shoulder for a while now, probably a month and a half or two. It's not painful and it does not itch. The rash is mostly flat, but if I touch it carefully, I can feel that it is only slightly raised. It has been fading recently, but not so much so that I cannot see it. I'm not sure where it came from. As far as I know, one day it was just there. Maybe I can recall it starting out smaller, but I'm not sure. Could it be caused from dirty clothes?
Within a month, the breast cancer started in her skin around the site of the node. She now has a red rash (skin mets) in approx half of her chest wall and is getting Chemo (Xeloda) and Herceptin. My question is, the skin is beginning to "harden" around the node removal surgery site. What does this mean? Any other comments on Skin mets would be greatly appreciated.
pre-menstrual syndrome, no menstrual period during and after estrogen use, enlargement of uterine fibroids, vaginal infection with Candida, a cystitis-like syndrome, mild diarrhea, jaundice or yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes, rash, loss of scalp hair, and development of new hairy areas. Lesions of the eye and contact-lens intolerance have also been associated with estrogen therapy.
Especially on my face, scalp, arms and back, but can be all over. It's not dry skin, and there is no rash. Just "the pinchies". Can't sleep. And it progresses the more aggravated I get. Seems I can tolerate it during the day. I've tried benedryl and anti itch creams. Interestingly, I do have a little tinea versicolor on my back, white dry patches that is a yeast fungus?!
I have developed itchy upper chest and neck over last few weeks without a rash. I am 42, could this be a symptom of pre menopause?
we are trying to get somesort of low income medical insurance in colorado and it is just difficult for us. he has a body rash that wont let him relax. he scratches so much that he cant sleep. i dont know if this is in relation to hep c but, i really need to find out if this is linked to it. please help.
have developed a rash over my chest and have been feeling rather faint over the past couple of days. been to the docs and he said it was due to the increased estrogen levels in my blood and gave me some iron supplements to take too until my blood restults come back.
My husband injects 2ml of PIO every morning and 1 ml of estrogen twice a week and my hips are so bruised and sore and are always stinging and burning. BUT - it's totally worth it!! Promise! (I'm 7 weeks along now.) GOOD LUCK!
peginterferon alfa-2a and ribavirin Pegasys and Copegus peginterferon alfa-2b and ribavirin Peg-Rebetron How It Works Combination antiviral therapy helps prevent the virus that causes hepatitis C from reproducing in the body. Two medicines are generally combined for the best response. Peginterferon is given as a shot once a week. Ribavirin is taken as a pill 2 times a day. During the course of your treatment, your doctor frequently may adjust the amount of medicine you are taking.
My own theory is that it is somehow involved with massive yeast infections and hormones (including thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, and all the others) but that is a self diagnosis. I do not have insurance and even though my doctors are cooperative and wonderful, to avoid too many visits, I try to self diagnose. Any insight would be appreciated. I am tired of being big, bald, sometimes blind and always itchy!
(Believe me I tried everything on it) Iv'e been to the doctor so many times and they only treated the rash. Thank God I now Know what caused it and I'm not crazy.
By the way, I also have a pretty obvious butterfly rash and constantly have sores in my mouth and/or nose. My rhuemy has always thought I had Lupus and he didn't think the Lymes was related the first go around. His theory was, the Lymes triggered the gene I already had for Lupus to go active and this time the possibility of my Lymes coming back is greater already having auto-immune issues (I also have Graves Disease which is pretty under control for a while now). But I don't know.
