Avatar n tn s created by a compounding pharmacy) helps with joy, and energy, voice, and the itching and lubrication, (for me anyway) the bio testosterone cream helps with energy, gumption, and some drive. I read that estrogen dominance can interfere with thyroid function, per Dr. Lee.

Avatar n tn For the last past two days I've been experiencing itching and burning sensations in the vaginal region. It also occurs when I urinate. I've tried vagisil which usually works but this time it made the itching and burning worse. I don't have an odor but my discharge is kind of a thick off white color. Im not able to see the doctor until next week. What can I do until then.
Avatar f tn m not sure if it initiates it also.. some reasons of vaginal itching are low level of estrogen , any small infection in the vagina, inflammation or any reaction with any detergent, cream, soapetc.. don't stress out too much it makes you more susceptible to infections.. u can clean ur vagina witha cotten swab and a bit of luke warm water.. take care.
Avatar f tn My ob said its normal but keep an eye on your discharge.
Avatar n tn The level should be 40 and if it is below 30 it should be treated immediately. It might help the itching and some of your symptoms. If you can test for a blood level of progesterone, that would be helpful. Once it is in the normal range, more should not be necessary. Kokoro cream contains between 20 and 30 milligrams of progesterone per 1/4 teaspoon. You say you are using 40 mg per day. You might not need more but many women take up to 50 or 60 milligrams. I cannot say without more information.
Avatar f tn Since 10 weeks I've had bad itching especially at night they have tested me several time for cholestasis and everything is normal my doctors believe it's from a high level of estrogen and there is nothing they can do about it I'm now 29 weeks and take benadryl when needed the doctor assured me it's perfectly safe
Avatar f tn As estrogen levels decline in the perimenopause, the vaginal wall becomes thinner and drier, and itching may result. This itching and dryness can occur anywhere on the body and may be poorly relieved by moisturizers and other cosmetic approaches. Phytoestrogens mimic estrogen and are highly recommended for low estrogen levels over Hormone Replacement Therapy (these drugs have a higher risk of breast cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots).
Avatar n tn t always help so much - you can have a normal circulating blood estrogen level and still not have enough estrogen getting to the genital tissue ( topical estrogen helps when this is an issue ). 2- only time would tell how your partner's experiences with hsv2 should be if he contracts it from you.
Avatar f tn What I reallky want to know about is the horrible itching, not from the rash. It is the worst on my nipple and surrounding area. Driving me crazy!
Avatar f tn I had this same problem after having my daughter and was prescribed vagifem and premarin estrogen cream – was a lifesaver! Your problem will not go away until your estrogen levels return to normal and even then you may still need some local estrogen to help heal your sore tissues - get yourself a new doc!
Avatar f tn Did you ever find out why you were itching? I don't itch on Estradiol tablets but I have been using an Estrogen cream in and around my vagina and it is causing burning and itching that is driving me crazy!!! My doctor tells me she has never heard of that kind of problem. I hope you have solved your problem.
Avatar n tn i have an itching it is itching from were i wee from i have not got a disgararge and it does not burn wen i wee ?
Avatar f tn Since this itch comes before your periods only, this could be related to lowering of estrogen and higher progesterone. Please consult a gynecologist and try and assess this. It can also be due to a disturbance in normal vaginal bacteria just before periods. Lactobacillus preparations or estrogen creams may help. However, since vagina is a sensitive area, please do not try these without medical prescription. Take care!
Avatar f tn I went on Armour Thyroid, a very low dose years ago and for the first time one nipple starting itching and drove me crazy. Over the years if I have increased thyroid it has happened. Now I am taking Iodine to heal my thyroid and start to lower my dosage of medication. I'm going through tremendous itching right now, it's driving me crazy! It's only one breast but I think it's a sign it's time to lower my medication again.
Avatar f tn Have you tried vaginal estrogen cream (Estrace). It can really help with the burning and itching. I have also used Vagifem, which is a tiny tablet that comes with a slim applicator - no mess! When we go thru menopause those delicate areas can really take a beating and even if we take systemic estrogen those areas can still need some applied right there.
Avatar f tn Finally, there are certain conditions that occur during pregnancy that may cause you to feel itchy Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry out your skin and make the itching worse. Use mild soap and be sure to rinse it off well and towel off lightly. Then slather on an unscented moisturizer — some scents can cause irritation. Try an occasional warm oatmeal bath. (You can buy oatmeal bath preparations in drugstores.
Avatar n tn Some people may have mild itching and require treatment with corticosteroid creams or antibiotics. There is no permanent cure for the disease. Some laser treatments are being considered but they are still in the trial phase and none of them can be considered as a definite part of the treatment of the disease. Vitamin C may also help in some cases. Best..
1143127 tn?1406726153 The last doctor. I went to, gave me estrogen, vaginal cream to use every time before I go to bed and an antibiotic for bladder infection. I have not used the estrogen cream due to my concerns about breast cancer, other side effects, and also, if I go off of it; my hot flashes and night sweats will come back with a vengeance. I don't have either of those anymore. I want to use a natural or biodentical treatment rather than the normally prescribed methods. Are they actually better?
Avatar f tn I have never had a yeast infection and I'm 49 years old. I'm extremely dry in the area but I've research the topic and I can't find where dryness and yeast infection go together. I'm assuming it does I've taken the pill today and I hope within 24 hours it will be somewhat better. Help !!?
Avatar m tn Hi flasunshine, Thank you for the Kind note! I wanted to tell you what my GYN told me AFTER my Hysterectomy back in 1991. I'm NOT able to take ANY type of estrogen as I have metabolism problems with my medications and the estrogen didn't do ANYTHiNG for my system at all. We even tried the estrogen patches and I was allergic to the adhesive that was used by that particular pharmaceutical company that made my patches. TERRIBLE itching and breaking out!!
Avatar n tn Try Benadryl and change your laundry soap and body soap should be none fragrance.
Avatar f tn I have had bouts with itching, but lately has gotten really bad. I have been reading comments from everyone and find it amazing the number of people with this problem. I have tried everything, but today I am in hopes I received the answer. I went to see my DC who uses a Chinese medicine method and he said I have Solvent Toxicity. He asked what type of moisturizer I used. I asked do you mean on my face or my body. I have been using Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion.
Avatar n tn Dry skin is the commonest cause of generalized itching. Itch starts first and scratching can cause welts to appear. Applying a moisturizer and using only soaps that are gentle on the skin is helpful in this case. Hypothyroidism too causes dry skin. Please get your thyroid function checked. It could also be due to overuse of AC and heaters.
