I didn't have a fibroid on a US in Dec toke 3 months of Lupron and now on a US and CT in April says I have a fibroid. I thought Lupron stops them from growing and or shirnks them? Anyone else have this?
It is not common to be resistant to those medications at your age, however, it may be that going to a high dose protocol, or a GnRh pump or some other IVF protocol would be in your best interests, and it may still be possible to conceive using your own eggs.

Hello... I am 39 with a FSH of 31. It fluctuates from month to month, it's been as low as 6.3. I'm seeing a doctor right now at a fertility centre who has told me that if he sees my FSH level go down again to under 12 then we would be eligible for our first IVF cycle.
We don't have the money to do more than 1 IVF cycle, so I'm trying to do a little research on my own on the medications to see if I'm seeing the right doctor.
The first ultrasound, in October 2007, showed ovarian volumes of 2.8cc and 2.9cc, with no free fluid. Everything else was normal. The second one, in November 2007, showed ovarian volumes of 0.4cc and 0.5cc, with no free fluid. Everything else normal. The third ultrasound, done last week (May 1, 2008), showed ovarian volumes of 1.7cc and 3.2cc, with a small amount of free fluid in the cul-de-sac. Her blood work has always been normal for her age and Tanner Stage 1.

Adjuvant therapy for GCTs has typically been carried out using chemotherapy as well as hormonal manipulation using GnRH analogues and aromatase inhibitors. tall and we are going to see a pediatric endo in a few weeks. Our ped had mentioned aromatase inhibitors or GNRH analogue(?). He had a bone age scan at 10.2 and the results were 12.6 years. We are all tall but he seems to be developing sooner and he's the oldest of 2 boys. My wife has an identical twin with adult sons that are 6'6", 6'5" and 6'3". I'm hesitant to have injections and such.

I BEEN ON LUPRONDEPOT FOR TWO MONTHS NOW AND ITS NOT HELPING ME WITH MY ENDOMETRIOSIS AT ALL. THE ONLY THING ITS DOING IS MAKING ME HAVE SO MANY HOTFLASHES AND MAKING MY FACE AND TEETH HURT SO BAD. I HAD 50 TO 60 SPOTS OF ENDOMETRIOSIS WHERE HE BURNED OUT BUT OF COURSE IT RETURNED AND IM TO THE POINT WHERE I JUST WANT A HYSTERECTOMY CANT TAKE THE PLAN NO MORE. MY QUESTION IS IF YOU HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Right adnexal cyst with minimal pelvic ascites (and unremarkable CT scan of kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder). Among other findings (with history of right flank pain), a hypodense focus measuring 4.0 x 2.1 x 3.0 cm is seen in the right adnexa. Also minimal free fluid in the posterior cul-de-sac. Everything else appeared normal or unremarkable. I presented the findings to my OB-Gyn, who in turn ordered transvaginal ultrasound.
