Avatar m tn Hi! Your mother needs to get examined to rule out a few things such as low blood pressure, postural hypotension, cervical spinal nerve compression, hypoglycemia, severe anemia, an underactive thyroid (called hypothyroidism), overactive thyroid (called hyperthyroidism), adrenal insufficiency (called Addison's disease), GERD, and internal ear infections. FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone should also be tested. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Avatar f tn my gyno lowered my estrogen by 1mg per day and my estrogen went UP over the last year. My testosterone went up, dramatically from 16 to 48, with no meds! It is like my body's endocrine system is running amuck. Any ideas?
Avatar f tn ve been back on the pill and takingt the Cytomel now for 3 weeks and my ears are always plugged up and the dizziness is really bad. I also have really bad inflammation in my neck and sinuses. I don't know if this means I'm on too much medication or if it's from going back on the BCP. My chin is breaking out badly so I know my hormones are out of whack.
Avatar f tn So have you had problems with a thin uterine lining in the past? I did several cycles on letrozole (femara), and never had to use estrogen. If the estrogen supplement is just given as a precaution, I would have them check to see if you actually need it...and if it's not necessary, just skip it. Best of luck to you!
4250330 tn?1388621179 Okay.. the ear nose and throat doctor I went to said I had fluid in my ear gave me to steroid shots for that and now. Just went the other day he said I had pressure on my ear drums or something I'm on a antibiotic and a nasal spray as soon as I took the first pill the dizziness subsided a little and I haven't had no dizziness until today.
Avatar n tn However, I have been getting my anxiety (tightening in chest, throat, butterflies in stomach, dizziness, etc.) and began researching for almost a year on perimenopause. The aforementioned website is a lifesaver in that it, at least, explains what you're going through so that you don't feel like it's in your head and you're going crazy. Perimenopause starts as early as in your 30s so don't exclude it. Hope this helps. God Bless.
Avatar f tn These changes are seen because of falling estrogen, progesterone and thyroid levels post natally. Consult a psychiatrist for psychotherapy, hormone therapy involving replacement of estrogen marriage counseling, and antidepressants if indicated. Hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar f tn I have not had my menses since this time, but have had symptoms like quick lived heat flashes, dizziness where I actually lose my balance momentarily and am VERY tired. I have had CT scans done to rule out other abdominal problems, went to my ear, nose, and throat specialist and he reccommened balance therapy, but I am certain that would not help. I don't know if this is all due to trauma to my body, and is healing slowly, or since I am 51 is this teh start of menopause?
Avatar n tn I have been in full menopause for two years now (no periods and all the nasty symptoms) and I'm 46. I run 75 miles a week and cycle at least that many and it doesn't help my symptoms at all - not to be negative, but every woman is 1000% different than the other, so what works for one may not work for the other so its an utter **** shoot, really.
Avatar n tn Hi Sandra, Granulosa cell tumors produce estrogen and estrogen levels are a good marker to evaluate for recurrence. I am not aware of any studies showing that estrogen causes these tumors to grow. I have pasted a very nice review from emedicine below. best wishes Background Three major types of ovarian neoplasms are described, with epithelial cell tumors (70%) comprising the largest group of tumors.
Avatar f tn Anxiety for the heart pulps and dizziness, and maybe pinched nerve for the numbness in the fingers go and get a proper check from your doctor.
Avatar f tn I did not have insurance then to do a follow-up and I have been in alot of pain accomanied by dizziness, nausea, foggy thinking and pain, pain...pain! Now I have insurance and went to my doctor's visit today...they told me I have to have surgery but they did not check the cyst. Avatar m tn i went to the lab for blood work and discovered my thyroid was hypo, i had low T, and my estrogen was high. Ive been on armour thyroid 90mg for about 4 months and seen no improvements. i have a reoccurring pain in my thyroid, it gets much more intense after i masterbate, the brain fog also gets worse too. i still have no sex drive and i can only sometimes get an erection (usually if i haven't masterbated in awhile). I'm going to get my blood checked again in october.
Avatar f tn I am 16 years of age and for the past week I have been experiencing extreme body temperature changes almost like heat flashes. At one point my face will go tomato red and I'll feel like I'm in the desert and another moment I'll be teeth chattering cold. Sometimes I'll even feel hot but other people touch my skin and it feels like ice. I've also had lots of nausea, a little bit if dizziness, and one or two moments of blurred vision.
Avatar n tn He gave me 100 mg capsules to be taken at bedtime. It even says on the bottle may cause dizziness and or drowsiness. I took my premarn at 6pm and then the progesterone at 10. It made me sleepy. I slept good but not great. I still found myself waking every couple hours but a lot of that is due to having to pee. I think I may have an overactive bladder. Also, my mattress is super uncomfortable. So it is impossible to get a good nights sleep.
Avatar f tn Doctor put me on progesteron and estrogen. I have a problem with dizziness (swaying). The HRT makes my dizziness worse. Went to psychiatrist yesterday he gave me low dose of prozac, cause I'm sensitive to medications. I feel like death and I have no reprieve from this constant hell. Thanks for responding.
Avatar f tn m 44 yo and my sx began about 15mos ago All started w/ palpitations, anxiety and dizziness. Gradually worked up to tingling in L foot and numbness in L leg. Had a period of about a month where I felt better than ever. Thought all was gone. Not so. Suddenly returned with tingling/numbness/weakness over entire L side. I have problems gripping things with my L hand and tire very quickly from doing the simplest of tasks.
405855 tn?1217100767 What is the correlation of estrogen and follicles? What should the estrogen number be before ovulation. Can this number be affected if you are taking Femara. On CD11, I had 5 follis - 20, 15, 18, 17, 16, 12 but my estrogen was only 23, is it possible? My lining was so think 4 mm only.
Avatar f tn I remember that prior to starting treatment in Sept 09, I read somewhere that being post menopause would be a negative strike against me but I still opted to NOT take estrogen. I have been in surgical menopause since 1996, I took estrogen for 10 years and then quit because of the increased chance of breast cancer after taking estrogen so many years. I finished treatment (without taking estrogen since 2006) and I achieved SVR.
Avatar m tn I went through a serious bout of stress from my job a couple of years ago and ended up leaving. My hair thinned, I started getting fat round my waste and on my chest giving me the dreaded man boobs look. The stress and lack of sleep got so bad at times that I often forgot what day it was and could not sleep or stop my hands from shaking. Now the problem remains and I can't get rid of it. My DHEA is fine and so is my testosterone.
Avatar m tn three months ago I had Pnemonia and even with using bi -est, I am having hot flashes and night sweats which has never happened to me on a constant basis. My husband thinks the pnemunia/fever rearranged my hormones and it will take awhile for them to settle down. I am 57 and was pretty stable on the bi-est. has this ever happened to anyone else?? Thx!
4384544 tn?1353785837 I run out of breath. I get headaches on the right side of my head and sinus area. When the dizziness happens it lasts for a couple of days and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hi there, Each birth control method has its own advantages and disadvantages.Acne; cysts of ovaries, depression, dizziness, hair loss are more common with implanon.Evra patch contains more of estrogen compared to implanon. The major problem or disadvantage with the patch is that it can increase the risk of blood clot formation more than the conventional pill. Failure rates of evra patch are more compared to implanon.
