this time they said it was a little low, but thats to be expected with the femara (since it blocks estrogen production) Anyone know what that can do if its low? THANKS SO MUCH!

Can you please tell me if estradiol has effect on OPKs? I know clomid does. Also, can you tell me if my Ovulation will be delayed...guess I am not sure what exactly the estradiol will do? I am on 3rd month of clomid, took 50mg first two months and now 100mg and now dr put me on estradiol (days 10-14) started the estradiol yesterday. Thank you!

Okay so i just finished 3 months on clomid and estradiol . Yesterday i went to the doctor , he did a ultrasound and discovered i have PCOS . He has put me on femara and estradiol. Has anyone ever taken this? Does anyone have any success stories of getting pregnany and having PCOS ? God Bless you all .

I was on clomid for 4 cycles - 2times 50mg and 2 times 100mg. It gave me cysts and pain. Nothing more. I went to a specialist- he said because I dont have so many eggs that he have to go agresive - gave me 150 iu Bravelle injectebles, estradiol, DHEA, and baby aspirin. After for 4 days I have to go for sonogram to see how I am responding. I want to do IUI. If anyone had IUI with Bravelle? Please, I need to know how it works!! I am 36, DH is 45.

On the other hand, if for unexplained infertility with regular periods, then if clomid is going to work it should have done so within the first three tries. I started a cycle of Clomid on cycle days 3-7. On day 3 i had labe done and my estradiol level was 40. I went and got my labs done on day 21 of my cycle and my estradiol level was 837. its flagged high and is about 400 over the reference range.

any way i didnt have my periods after 2ms after the miscarriage so on jan 5th i went to the dr to start trying again so he prescribe me provera for 10days and clomid 3-7days and on estradiol 8-12days...my questions to u is combine this med is there a chance for me to cenceive?and with pcos should i start the clomid a little bet later cuz my ovulation is always late?and should i still take the robitussin and the baby aspirin?

I'm 22 years old and my husband and I are ttc our first child. My husband had a vasectomy 10 years ago..(he's 10 years older than me) so one of our options was to do IUI with a donor. I've had all kinds of tests to make sure I can concieve. I even had an HSG done. Everything was good. However, we have had 5 IUI's and none of them worked. I am getting worried that something is wrong because I've heard after 6 IUI's that it's a slim chance it will work.

I am also on Clomid however I believe that the Estradiol is what's making me feel the pg symptoms. My OB put me on Clomid, Estradiol and Prochieve 8% gel... I believe that the symptoms have progressed tremendously these last few days. Almost had to pull over on my way to work this morning. I'm only on CD 12; we start BD today! hello ladies, i just had my day 3 labs done ,and come to find out that my estrogen levels are extremly low, lt was 16. my obgyn told me not to worry about this and we would try clomid. ( which i know i dont have problems ovulating. i have been reading and i believe that estrogen plays a very important role in conceiving! am i wrong? do levels get higher throughout your cycle? has anyone had troubles conceiving with low levels? . can someone take estrogen supplements?

Hi I took my second round of clomid 100mgs CD3-7, estradiol CD8-12, and prochieve CD17-27. I had a positive LH surge(opk) on CD15. I am now on CD31 with no signs of AF besides some cramping a couple days ago. I had a BFN yesterday 15 days past O, So I'm not prego. Has anyone else had this problem on clomid.

Once a cycle starts, ill be taking Clomid. I have a son who is 1.5yrs old. We tried Clomid and Menopur with him and nothign worked & scheduled IVF but got pregnant on our own and now that i'm trying for #2, i have PCOS again :( even tho the dr said not all women with PCOS the first time will get it the 2nd time... One of the first common sign is irregular periods. that's crazy that you had normal periods! Good luck to you and your husband!

Hi, My FSH was about the same as yours (I'm 39) 5.6 MY LH was 4.9 MY Estradiol was 156 (which I thought was really bad and it meant I had no good eggs....) But It only took me 2-3 months to get pregnant so I guess my estradiol number didn't mean I had no eggs. Successful month I did lh surge strips, bd'd when it said to and used pre-seed as I thought my mucus wasn't mucousy enough to help the sperm travel.

Got pregnant the first we tried. All of this is a shock. Has anyone had success with just Clomid with a high FSH?

I am almost 37 years old and doing a hormonal profile this month (b/w every other day, basically!!) I had Estradiol draws pre-o, and now Estradiol and Progesterone draws post-o! On Peak +3, my Estradiol was 70 (went from 104 to 323 to 70) and my progesterone was 5.8. t have PCOS, but I was not ovulating regularly. I took 50 MG of CLomid and then was on estradiol supplements to increase my uterine lining as it was way too thin.

I would be reluctant to use Clomid in someone whose FSH level was so high. I would recommend IVF with donor eggs as the best option. I am wondering whether you are getting the test results confused (do you mean progesterone level?) Good luck!

Hi. I took Clomid at age 40. It didn't work for me because my numbers were terrible. My estradiol (E2) needed to be under 80 and it was 226. Because of this I was not a candidate for IVF. I learned this on my 41st birthday. Not an ideal birthday present, to say the least. All this said, tons of women get pregnant over 40 and have perfectly healthy babies. If your RE says you have a good shot then I say go or it!! I wish you lots of luck!!
