I am quite healthy woman, 25. I do not smoke, I am not clinically obese but I do have excess weight. Few months ago I tried taking pills called lindynette 20 (EE 20 µg, gestodene 75 µg). I only took them for three days and then stopped because of such side effects as total loss of appetite, insomnia and pulling pain the shoulder. It felt like my arm had gone numb. This month I decided to try again and chose Qlaira (estradiol valerate/dienogest combination).

but still so worried about my medication I was told to take (cycloprogynova white pills) estradiol valerate since the day of egg collection.. and even after i had my BFP they told me to continue taking them till the third month of course that accompanied with progesterone supplements.. now I am obsreving my pregnancy with anotger doctors .. saying I should quit estrogen pills ASAP .. I m so wprried about my babies and don't know what to do.. any one can help me??
She says that I am only to take the white tablets (containing Estradiol valerate 2mg) once a day along with my other pills and she says this is because it will help my uterus grow as she is concerned about lack of space and possible miscarriage.
My concern is that following some internet research - these tablets (The Progyluton) appear to be strongly contraindicated for pregnancy!!
I am worried about taking them and I'm also worried about NOT taking them!!!!
Hi, I am 28 and came off the pill Qlaira 26+2 (estradiol valerate/dienogest). Had small brown spotting during 23,24 day while on pill (tough that was withdrawal bleed). Period (or real withdrawal bleed) came 17 days after last active tablet. My question is, which of those was withdrawal bleed and what is the chance to get pregnant if I had unprotected intercourse during bleed in day 17,20 after last active tablet? Can I treat last bleed as first day of new cycle with real menstruation?
2, and 1.0 so they are trying to grow a little. Now I am concerned about my estradiol level today is was 550. How much does the estradiol level increase each day?
3 months ago I bleed for almost 2 months straight and still have severe pelvic pain. My doctor decided to test my estradiol levels and they were in the 80s. She informed me they should be below 20. She gave me a double-dose of the Lupron to see if it would jump start my system. I just had another test done to check the levels 3 weeks after my last shot. The levels have increase even more. In adults HIV is transmitted only with penetrative sexual contact or injection of infected material deep into tissue. It is not transmitted by kissing of any sort, through mutual masturbation, even when partners get each other’s' genital secretions on one another, or through clothing, even clothing wet with genital secretions. You don't mention whether your partners had HIV or not but statistically it is unlikely that they did.
I have never had any blood work. Recently I have heard people talking about testing estradiol levels to confirm that the egg is maturing adn not just the follicle. I am wondering how common this is, and is it really nessesary. We know that my follicles are maturing and getting to a good size, is it possible that the egg inside them is not?
