estradiol test results

I just got my test results back this morning but I don't know how to read them. Can anyone help? Why do the numbers change? Taken 5/5/2010 Taken 5/4/2009 Taken 5/22/2009 FSH 5-1 FSH 6.4 PROLACTIN 14.1 ESTRADIOL 136 ESTRADIOL 72 PROGESTERONE 5.

TSH 1.88, FSH 7.1, prolactin 24.4, and estradiol 46.4. My MD said after the first test that the results indicated decreased ovarian reserve due to the FSH level. After the second test, he said only that even though my FSH level was normal, it "still doesn't bode well for pregnancy". That is all that I was told. Any thoughts? How "abnormal" (or normal) are my results? Will IVF be an option for me? Thanks for the help...

I know that my testosterone is low for my age. I plan on losing excess weight and see what happens from there.

Did they test your Estradiol? Estradiol can suppress fsh, so that could be why you fsh was so low. From what I understand cysts sometime increase Estradiol. I currently have a cyst, but my Estradiol came back under 50 with was good. I have a high fsh, between 18-20, but one cycle it was 5 and my Estradiol was 80 which meant it was suppressing my fsh. Hope you get some answers!

I got the results of my bloodwork today and my FSH is 6.34, LH - 2.46 and Estradiol 96.3. Can anyone say if this looks good especially the estradiol?

My progesterone/estradiol levels were a little crazy too post-transfer. My re's nurse said as long as they stayed above 20 then all was good (progesterone). Honestly now that I think about it, I don't think they did only one estradiol test after my transfer. In fact, the highest number I got on my progesterone level was 62 - most often it was in the upper 30's so I think you're doing just fine - congrats on your pregnancy!

Did that specifically test your hormones or were those results from the CA-125 blood test?

I'd like to know what my blood test results may mean. I've taking diet pills (ephedrine/caffeine) for a few years. In last year my endurance has decline. About 8 months ago I started noticing Fatigue, memory problems, body aches and problems maintaining erections. I started taking pregnenolone and 7-keto DHEA thinking it would increase testosterone. I finally went to my doctor 2 1/2 months ago. He ordered blood tests.

Thanks for your comments...I checked the reference and the highest reference is 400 and that is for a different time I had my blood drawn. Mine should be under 80 for the time I had it....that's why I am so concerned. What does high estradiol mean? All other lab results look perfect.

I have PCOS and for the last couple months, I was introduced to Letrozole. Up until this month during my Follicle check, I was told that the cycle was not as successful as the others. My RE prescribed me Menopur and took 2 vials the following day = 150ml. After taking the Menopur, I was asked to get labs done a day later. My FSH 6.2, my LH 11.3, and Progesterone 0.5. I'm waiting on my Estradiol results. Can someone please tell me these mean and what they should be during each cycle?

I was told three different scenarios for what was going on with my thyroid test results. 1. I am hypothyroid. 2. I am subclinical if not clinical hyperthyroid. 3.
