Also, can you tell me if my Ovulation will be delayed...guess I am not sure what exactly the estradiol will do? I am on 3rd month of clomid, took 50mg first two months and now 100mg and now dr put me on estradiol (days 10-14) started the estradiol yesterday. Thank you!

Can someone please tell me what is a normal estradiol level for a HCG trigger and ovulation? Was on Menopur 225 iu. for 9 days pre-trigger. My level was 225 - 4 days before iui. Day of iui I had 4 follicles - 2 at 17.5 mm, 1 at 15, and 1 at 14. My RE thought 3 were mature. My progesterone level 5 dpiui was 23.63. Thanks for any info.

m in my late 30s - the first month I was tested, my estradiol was 374 and my FSH 5.2. The next month my estradiol dropped to 87 and my FSH increased to 10.1. I'm at a loss of whether I should keep trying or just say that a baby isn't in my cards. Anyone else heard of estradiol dropping hundreds of points in a single month?

Your estrogen does continue to increase during the first part of your cycle and hits a peak right before ovulation. The estrogen is needed to help build the lining and it also helps improve the cervical mucus. I'm not sure how much of an impact a low level has on day 3, as the levels are generally much lower then anyway. I guess it all depends on how much it increases as you get closer to ovulation. what exactly does it do during pre-ovulation time? they always measure it at the dr's office right before they trigger me.. this time they said it was a little low, but thats to be expected with the femara (since it blocks estrogen production) Anyone know what that can do if its low? Inhibin; FSH; Estradiol, Prolactin; TSH; Progesterone, Testosterone; Hemoglobin and glucose tests. All tests came back NORMAL. I had a procedure done to check my uterus and tubes. All clear and positioned normally. Progesterone test in June showed that I ovulated. I had a light period, we tried to conceive again. However, test in July (this mo) showed I did not ovulate. I am waiting for my period and now its day 33 and no period/discharge of any sort. What can be done to fix this?

My OB/GYN gave me Progesterone (prometrium 100mg per day) to take after ovulation. I have been doing this for several months now. I recently started seeing a RE and when I told him I start the prog either 1dpo or 2 dpo, he freaked out telling me that I should not start them until 4dpo because talking starting it any earlier than 4dpo would cause me not to ovulate properly. I always start prog after I get a +opk one day and a temp increase the next day (which I count as o day).

I am almost 37 years old and doing a hormonal profile this month (b/w every other day, basically!!) I had Estradiol draws pre-o, and now Estradiol and Progesterone draws post-o! On Peak +3, my Estradiol was 70 (went from 104 to 323 to 70) and my progesterone was 5.8. Previous to that my OB/GYN diagnosed me with low estrogen. My estradiol level was 42. When my endo doc ran the TPO antibody test he also checked my testosterone levels and they have come back high. Does the thyroid cause all these other imbalances as well? My endo suggested peri menopause because of the Hashimoto's and I have all the symptoms but afraid that it is just the thyroid messing everything up.

any way i didnt have my periods after 2ms after the miscarriage so on jan 5th i went to the dr to start trying again so he prescribe me provera for 10days and clomid 3-7days and on estradiol 8-12days...my questions to u is combine this med is there a chance for me to cenceive?and with pcos should i start the clomid a little bet later cuz my ovulation is always late?and should i still take the robitussin and the baby aspirin?

m on clomid and my estrogen levels can be as low as 1500 at ovulation and this cycle as high as 3500 at ovulation. I was just told it's indicative of the amount of eggs / follicles sorry don't know where did you hear this? from your RE?

Okay so i just finished 3 months on clomid and estradiol . Yesterday i went to the doctor , he did a ultrasound and discovered i have PCOS . He has put me on femara and estradiol. Has anyone ever taken this? Does anyone have any success stories of getting pregnany and having PCOS ? God Bless you all .

3.8 that's tricky. I think it's right on the border line of Ovulation. A nurse told me that everything above 3.5 means Yes. Once mine was 7.6, and they thought it was too low. This can be improved with progesterone suppositories. I'm still on them even after my BFP. when I go to see RE next week, I'll find out if when I can stop taking them.

This is my first month on Clomid, 50mg cycle days 3-7. I was also on Estradiol cycle days 8-12 and am now on progesterone suppositories cycle day 17 until I get my period or a positive pregnancy test. I had an HCG trigger shot 10,000 units (Profasi, Pregnyl) on cycle day 15. This is also my first month using fertilityfriend to chart my basal body temps. I'm on CD 88. Took Provera and did not have bleeding or spotting within 10 days after. Did blood work and it showed FSH: 6, LH: 1, TSH: 2.54. I did temping and OPKs and I'm pretty sure I did not ovulate. Before that I was on BCP (0.035 ethinyl estradiol & 0.25 norgestimate) and had very regular periods. What next? Clomid to stimulate ovulation? Clomid followed by estrogen? BCP to reset the cycle?

At 7 dpo, a possible embryo might not have implanted yet, so I wouldn't worry too much about your estrogen being a little lower at 7 dpo than 5 dpo. I'm not really sure what the normal range is for estradiol after ovulation, though... As for your progesterone, it's great! I'm not really sure about your other test results. I know FSH is supposed to be tested on CD2 or 3, to give you an idea of your ovarian reserve. When did you have that test done?
