i am pcos and trying to conceive i tried 50mg of clomid and last 100mg now my doctor wants to try provera again because my period want start on its own when my period start he wants me to take estradiol on day 3 it that oral medication or an injectables what does it really means

what will happen once i stop taking oral estradiol i stopped yesterday after taking 1 1 mg tablet a day for 3 weeks cuz of bleeding and bad cramps

For heavy periods, it's not uncommon for girls to be put on birth control. But this one? Weird choice it appears. Some birth control pills use estrogen to decrease period issues and prevent pregnancy. But Femoston seems to be used more for peri menopausal and post menopausal women.

before i left the dr gave me a script for estradiol and told me that my cervic liner was a bit thin and they like it to be a little bit thicker when iui's are the treatment and that my blood work was going to be reviewed and then i will get a call to let me know the dosage that i need to use for the gonal and let me know if i am to start this script... well i go a call and they called my cell and left a message just stating the gonal and nothing was mentioned about the script estradiol...

Starting last month I began spotting every day. I contacted my doctor who gave me Estradiol 2mg pills for 14 days. He said that it would stop the spotting. I stopped spotting for 3 days and then started right back up again. I have one more Estradiol pill left. I have an appointment with him Tuesday to see how I am doing. Obviously the bleeding hasn't stopped and as far as I know there is nothing else they can give me to stop the spotting.

I always thought that the estradiol was to make sure your lining was thick enough for implantation. Because I now the drugs like clomid can thin your lining making it impossible for the egg to implant. I could be wrong though.

How long after a confirmed pregnancy are you suppose to continue taking Estradiol? Just read on the internet that it can cause birth defects and I can't reach my doctor to confirm this.

I am on 200 mg prometrium /5 mg estradiol, and metformin as well as tirosint. The prometrium and estradiol is for hot flashes. The metformin for prediabetes, couldn't get my a1c down, and tirosint for thyroid disease. She says that I am only to take the white tablets (containing Estradiol valerate 2mg) once a day along with my other pills and she says this is because it will help my uterus grow as she is concerned about lack of space and possible miscarriage.
