FSH: 4.5 and Estradiol 59. The levels yesterday 3/29/10 (day 10) were: FSH: 9.7 and Estradiol 163. I am using OPK's per the direction of my fertility doctor on cycle days 12-21 (I started early and have been getting negative results - not surprising since I know that it might be too soon to ovulate). Can anyone tell me what the normal range for estradiol is on day 2 of AF. I was reviewing my records and this # was almost blacked out on one of my reports. Well, I'm really not sure if what a low estrogen level on day 3 indicates. According to fertility plus, you're levels are just below the normal range for day 3 (25-75), but they also say that the lower range is better than higher, since a high estrogen level can indicate lower ovarian reserve. Sorry I couldn't be more help...

what is the detriment if I go in for my blood test on Monday, when that is Day 4 (or Day 5 if spotting yesterday was actually Day 1). I know I can call my doctor today to double check, but just thought I'd throw this question out there ! Thanks !!!

I started a cycle of Clomid on cycle days 3-7. On day 3 i had labe done and my estradiol level was 40. I went and got my labs done on day 21 of my cycle and my estradiol level was 837. its flagged high and is about 400 over the reference range.

I am glad to say that your FSH, Estradiol, LH, Prolactin and TSH are all normal for cycle day 3. The Estradiol should be low on cycle day 3 and the FSH, just as you said. If they were high then you would have a problem. You are not close to menopause. I do think you should see a specialist to help you get pregnant . They can do further work up on you as well as your husband. But good news, you are not menopausal.

m not sure how much of an impact a low level has on day 3, as the levels are generally much lower then anyway. I guess it all depends on how much it increases as you get closer to ovulation. Good luck to you!

I think it depends on your cycle day. It increases with each egg and how big the egg gets. Mine was as high as 7800 at the egg retrieval day.

My RE had me start taking DHEA about 2 weeks ago and wants me on it for 3 months before we do ivf. Im currently on CD 7 and spotting has anyone else had this happen while on DHEA?

I wonder if you had any ovarian reserve testing like cycle day 3 FSH, Estradiol, antral follicle count or any other. If you have diminished ovarian reserve, then you will not respond well to ovarian stimulation. I hope you will respond to future increased doses of Gonal F. One suggestion would be to add LH sooner to the stimulation by adding a drug like Menopur that has FSH and LH in it for ovarian stimulation right at the beginning of stimulation in addition to the Gonal F.

hello friends! i was just checking in to see if you ladies would like to give me your opinion-- i'm on cycle day 9 and today i had an ultrasound and blood work. i was told i had several follies but they aren't >12 yet! i was also told my estrogen level was 198. for cycle day 9 i was told this is all sounding good--- i was instructed to do my gonal-f pen tonight and tuesday night and go back for B/W and US on wednesday morning. what are your opinions????? anyone with me here?

Can someone please tell me what is a normal estradiol level for a HCG trigger and ovulation? Was on Menopur 225 iu. for 9 days pre-trigger. My level was 225 - 4 days before iui. Day of iui I had 4 follicles - 2 at 17.5 mm, 1 at 15, and 1 at 14. My RE thought 3 were mature. My progesterone level 5 dpiui was 23.63. Thanks for any info.

Later dr. advised me to take estradiol 1mg a day for 13 days and then she added progesterone 0.2 mg soft capsules along with the same dosage of estradiol for next 9 days. She told me that I am suppose to get my periods within 3 to 7 days after I finish this medicine. Today is the 14th day but still I did not get my periods. I want to ask what can be the reason.

s office- I had my day 3 blood work redone last week and just got the results- this is odd and she thinks my ovarian cysts have thrown off my nbrs and are interferring with stuff. My FSH is 1.6- yes 1.6. That doesnt sound right, unless there was a mistake at the lab. My AMH is .16.. that is low. She said after I get my laproscropy done we need to go to injectables. FSH and AMH usually go hand in hand, and the nurse commented that my last FSH of 10 isnt really congruent with my very low AMH.
