374593 tn?1257879950 E2 levels supposed to be 200-600 per mature follicle at the time of the trigger. Elevated E2 I think indicates overstimulation. Good luck to yoou this cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1493378 tn?1288707991 so, there's a tendency that my doctor will cancel this cycle? i'm so worried...tomorrow will be my follow-up check-up with my doctor, but i'm really so confused w/ this result. On my previous ivf treatment, ,my estradiol level was 21 pg/ml, and this cycle it's >20 pg/ml...what was your estradiol level when they cancelled your cycle?
374593 tn?1257879950 46 would be your estradiol(E2) and 6 or 9 would be your FSH. FSH should be under 10 and E2 should besomewhere between 20 to 80 (this will vary a little bit b/w lab and Dr preference). The FSH is a measure used to determine egg quality/reserve-under 10 is good. For that number to be considered accurate the E2 has to be within the range above. I don't know anything about PCOS so I can't help with that.
1272624 tn?1395434357 So after a week of stopping my estradiol and progesterone suppositories because they said I'm going to have a chemical pregnancy, my beta finally doubled every 45 hrs, they tell me my estradiol has dropped so now I'm going to maybe have an ectopic...I can't take this!
Avatar n tn I was taking 125 units, cd 9 I had 4 folilcles between 11 and 13, and my estradiol was 178. so they had me cut back to 100 units, so i wouldn't have all 4 mature. today cd12, my estradiol was down to 55, all 4 follicles are still the same size. now they want me to stay at 100 units and come back wednesday. does that make sense? Is all hope lost for this cycle. anyone have similiar experience.amu advice would help.
Avatar n tn i am currently taking 125 units of follistim and on cycle day 13 today. yesterday went for us and labs, saw 3 follicles, largest 17, smallest 15. estradiol level was 1146. they want me to come back again monday for another us and labs. with estradiol level that high, doesnt that mean something is mature and i should trigger. i do have pcos, and don't want all 4 to release. any thoughts or ideas?
398459 tn?1262186144 TSH 1.88, FSH 7.1, prolactin 24.4, and estradiol 46.4. My MD said after the first test that the results indicated decreased ovarian reserve due to the FSH level. After the second test, he said only that even though my FSH level was normal, it "still doesn't bode well for pregnancy". That is all that I was told. Any thoughts? How "abnormal" (or normal) are my results? Will IVF be an option for me? Thanks for the help...
Avatar f tn I havent had personal experience with low e2 levels. I did use this link as a bit of a guide though so i hope this helps you. http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html I wish you all the vey best on your 3rd go.
Avatar n tn It is hard to predict. The higher levels of estrogen may promote the midcycle LH surge, which is what urine OPKs look for. If this happens, the surge might come a couple of days earlier. This is called positive feedback. On the other hand, the higher estrogen levels my inhibit LH (this is called negative feedback) delaying the surge. You will need to test for ovulation to find out.
652899 tn?1284047173 Can anyone tell me what the normal range for estradiol is on day 2 of AF. I was reviewing my records and this # was almost blacked out on one of my reports. Can anyone that has some knowledge - let me know some feedback. I know the FSH and TSH look fine-These labs were done by my obgyn a few months ago-- not my RE Day 2 labs FSH, serum = 2.5 TSH = 2.22 Estradiol= 144.9 Prolactin (ECLIA meth)= 17.
1281900 tn?1320336402 Hi, if the result is 3rd day bloodwork test? TSH is Cumulative Thyroid Function Test, reference level is within 0.40 - 4.00 mu/L, ESTRADIOL is E2, if is 3rd, then should be <100 pmol/L, yours is fine. FSH <10 is good. Can't read yours of 5/5/2010. In general, at your age, the result is very good. I had one 3rd day done in March this yr with the similar result. But definitely need ur dr to explain as they all have different ideas of even the same numbers. Hope it helps.
Avatar f tn What should estradiol (E2) level be at time of hCG trigger? A: The E2 level should be 200-600pg/ml per 18mm follicle. Some doctors are content with a minimum level of 150, but higher tends to be better. I have PCOS and was put on Clomid, however because my estrogen is so low, it didn't work much at all...my follicles developed, but my estrogen stayed very low. So, next is hormone injections. Has anyone had a similar experience with success?
143123 tn?1274300825 E2 (Estradiol) was 38.7 (needs to be under 100) FSH (Follicale Stimulating Hormone) was 8.1 (needs to be 12.5 or less) Is 38.7 too low?
Avatar f tn IVF meds stimulate follicle production and if yo uhave many follicles they can stretch your ovary and cause discomfort. Severe pain may be a sign of OHSS, your E2 levels can check for it. Good luck!
Avatar f tn lower estradiol on day 3 is good because it means it is not artificially suppressing FSH levels especially if the FSH levels are within the normal range. I think doctors like it to be low on day 3 and since your doctor wasn't worried at all, I do not think you should. You can also check this site out: http://www.magicjack.com/6/index.asp It suggests that lower levels of E2 are better for stimulation.
1272624 tn?1395434357 Estradiol (E2) Day 3 ( 25-80 pg/ml) Levels on the lower end tend to be better for stimulating. Abnormally high levels on day 3 may indicate existence of a functional cyst or diminished ovarian reserve. Progesterone (P4) Day 3 (< 1.5 ng/ml). Often called the follicular phase level. An elevated level may indicate a lower pregnancy rate. Here is a link to an interesting paper I found as well: http://www.medical.siemens.
Avatar m tn Yes, you have high E2, as it's over range... I'm trying to figure out why. Some medications, supplements, etc can cause high estrogen levels. Your prolactin level is also too high, indicating Prolacinemia. One option is a possible pituitary problem. If there's a problem with your pituitary gland, it can throw off all of the hormones in your body, since your pituitary gland is considered the "master gland" and controls the entire endocrine system.
Avatar f tn My estradiol (E2) needed to be under 80 and it was 226. Because of this I was not a candidate for IVF. I learned this on my 41st birthday. Not an ideal birthday present, to say the least. All this said, tons of women get pregnant over 40 and have perfectly healthy babies. If your RE says you have a good shot then I say go or it!! I wish you lots of luck!!
