I'm taking estrace 4 mg daily and have also taken estradiol before, and have not had a problem with vertigo. Why do you associate it with the estradiol? I thought positional vertigo had to do with little calcifications in the inner ear breaking off wherever they are attached and floating around. Do you think this comes from estrogen use? I had heard it came from something else.
Did you ever find out why you were itching? I don't itch on Estradiol tablets but I have been using an Estrogen cream in and around my vagina and it is causing burning and itching that is driving me crazy!!! My doctor tells me she has never heard of that kind of problem.

the cream is fine, but if you are working with someone who likes to mix estradiol with estriol, that should be a big discussion. Estradiol is now the preferred estrogen. Much of the hoopla around Estriol years ago has died down. I did not do well on it when I tried it in Bi-est (two estrogens in bio form... estradiol and estriol).

I was prescribed Estradiol to help with excessive bleeding for my periods and when I took it for 10 straight days my face cleared up almost 100% for the first time in 10 years. I was over the moon happy until my gyno said I could not be on Estradiol long term and she would not prescribe me anymore. Instead she prescribed me a pill contraceptive Yaz (on top of my implant) this makes me nervous but she said it's ok. I am devastated, please if anyone can help please.
I started that on Friday morning.I am also on 1 mg estradiol vaginal inserts 3x a week. I am not waking up and then sweating but I wake up and get warm and clammy. Its very frustrating but noone else has had any ideas on what is the cause. My previous hormone specialist prescribed a vaginal cream of estrogen/progesterone and testosterone.
That's interesting. I wouldn't think that estrogen (estriol or estradiol) cream would cause most of those symptoms. However, it could affect your menstrual cycle.
My TSH is 11 with normal T3, T4, FT3, FT4 levels. Also normal Anti Microsomal Antibody. Only my Anti Thyroglobulin Antibodies are high. I am assuming I have Hashimoto's.

I think it was causing depressiont too. I have been on bio-identical hormones for a few years - progesterone cream and DHA cream - and have done fine. I had osteoporosis before the hormone creams but have now reversed it. (still have low bone mass though).
I'm worried that the hot-flashes and osteoporosis might recur if I don't take the estrogen. . . but I don't know if I can handle the side-effects of it. Any suggestions out there?

I don't know what to make of all this. Could I be entering perimenopause despite all my normal hormone results? Could this just be an age-related hormonal change that is not perimenopause? I feel like at 30, I'm too young to be experiencing all of these strange hormonal issues. Or maybe there is some underlying disease causing all of this?
i went to a local nurse practioner in my town and she is against hormones but put me on a low dose of menest after about i amonth i felt almost normal but still no sex drive or energy so i had an app with dr who checks blood hormones and i was low on everything so she switced me to estratest but after a week heartrate went up(dont know if it was the estratest or antibotic i was on) but she switchedme to estradiol and also put me on prometrium a progestaron and a compounded hormone creme,i had to
So, wash your face frequently with a medicated soap. Apply OTC benzoyl peroxide to the face to reduce the oiliness. Apply an antibiotic cream such as erythromycin (erytop) and vitamin A based cream on pimples. Avoid eating oily stuff and Drink 3-4 liters of water a day.

I applied the Nair face removal cream for sensitive skin earlier today. Help. About 4 months ago, I developed an itchy scalp (no flaking), eyebrows, eyelashes and soon itchy bumps all over my face. Now, it's slowly moved to chest, shoulders and back. I've noticed it's where I sweat. Also, it clears up as it moves around. In other words, my face and chest are much better, but shoulders and back are new. I work out 5 days a week. hi I'm 60 gone thru menopause and now I'm trying to find a safe hormones to use. I was prescribed Medroxypr AC 2.5mg also Estradiol 0.5 mg are these safe I'm also on Armour thyroid does anyone know if it will conflict with it?

At my last appointment, I asked my doc to lower progesterone from 200 to 150 (I take it in a pill with estradiol). After three weeks, I am now noticing my face clearing up so much mre and starting to feel like maybe my armour could even be lowered a tad. One thing to note, I also began taking it in split doese and sublingually in the past 10 days. I don't want to mess with my meds yet but am anticipating lower my thyroid meds.

Hey, I'm a 60 year old women who is on Armour thyroid, and I am menopasal, I had a estradiol test, I believe it was 30 but should be 90 if I'm remembering right. Should I have a Progesterin test also? I read that Estriol is a good estrogene suppliment to use, I guess its used vaginally is that right? and it says I should use Progesterone along with it, do they have a progesteron that can be used vaginally? or is the cream good?
I have a rash on my face it is quite itchy, it is a light pinkish red. Could you tell me what it could be and what things i can do to make it less itchy?
02% hydrocortisone cream for my face. I put it on my face and the remainder I rubbed in my hands. I did this for three days, and afterward my skin was red and burning, and the skin has thinned and the skin is strange looking. I stopped as soon as I noticed something was wrong. It's still really damaged (March 10th). Mostly discolored, thin, and lots of veins sticking out on both hands. My face is starting to heal, but basically did the same thing as my hands.
