I have been on testosterone pellets implanted in my hip. I've lost 25 pounds in the last 10 months. I think each woman is different.

Well, after feeling very blah for a my usual time before the reinsert, I go to get it (very happily!) and wait for the good stuff to hit. And wait. And keep waiting. This was around Aug. 1st. Well, not only have I not felt ANY benefits of it, I have actually felt worse than I have felt in months. Extreme fatigue, weight gain with no change in eating habits, water retention, depressed,just feeling like overall crap.

I had my first estradiol and testosterone implants and am taking progesterone pills at night. My hot flashes have stopped and my libido has improved some, but I'm bloated like I've never been before-even when I had regular periods. I always exercise and try to eat healthy most of the time-but I've gained 5lbs. over the month- and it's all "jelly-belly" fat. My appetite is ravenous!

These pellets are implanted under the skin of my hip. I get estrogen and testosterone. Estrogen for hot flashes, night sweats, dry skin, anxiety. moodiness. Testosterone for my sex drive. It's done in my doctors office and takes about 10 minutes. Now I want and enjoy sex more than ever in my life!

I started taking pregnenolone and 7-keto DHEA thinking it would increase testosterone. I finally went to my doctor 2 1/2 months ago. He ordered blood tests. My total testosterone is 375 on a range that says 250 to 1100 ng/dL. My free testosterone is 71.6 pg (range 35-155 pg/mL) & Testosterone Free % is 1.91 (range 1.50 - 2.20%). The results page says my estradiol is out of range. it says 10L with a range of 13-54 pg/mL.

Thanks all if this info is so helpful. The pellets are estrogen & testosterone pellets as I had a hysterectomy & thought I needed some replacement if those. I was due to gave more placed & because I had no improvement we ordered the hormone tests. I wanted tested b4 we started but was told no. Oh well I am not going to get more pellets & just work on the thyroid/Hashi's & if we get rinse numbers right then I think those should come in line by the sounds of the above info.

I was just wondering if anyone has had or heard of someone using the injectable under the skin Testosterone pellets? Patches are irritating to my husband and the cream stinks did I say stinks?! Wee U for sure! Can't even wash the smell out of his clothes. I'm wondering if there are any more risks going the pellet route? Doc, said they last 4-6 months. I've read infection but I think that is a very low risk.

Can hormone pellets be removed? A friend had 50% estrogen, 50% testosterone pellets implanted about 5 months and again 1 month ago. She had a mammogram and biopsy in the last month showing breast cancer that is estrogen receptor +. She is perimenapausal and 50 years old.

if my levels are good, should my libido be as well? And should I start worrying about something else instead.. If I had learned that there was only 0,000001% chance for me to permanently loose my libido when taking this, I would of course NEVER have touched it! re taking a slow approach and want the testosterone pellets to wear off before further tinkering. I had over medication problems last Fall and we're now realizing how much the T-pellets were adding to it through process of elimination. I took the 50 for a week and a half starting on March 18 ending March 28. My question: did I take that dose long enough for it to have any effect and is it possible some symptoms I've developed this week like adrenaline rushes at night could be related?

The level at that time was 45, then they retested it on the 3rd day of my cycle and it came back at 42. My endo ran the estradiol and testosterone during ovulation because the estrogen level is suppose to rise during this time. This time it came back again at 42. Does this help?

I recently took some blood tests which show normal levels of IGF-1, Prolactin, Testosterone, Estradiol, but low levels of Luteinizing Hormone and low levels of Follicule Stimulating Hormone. Does this indicate anything?

t see my doctor until the end of next month! my fsh was low enough, but my estradiol was 447. they drew testosterone as well and my total testosterone was 73... i'm not sure why they drew that again, probably because they just ran everything again... but do you know what that means? We have been TTC for seven months. :( I have bleeding between periods and ovulated three days after my period this month...so i'll be due for another period this month...
