216278 tn?1308861082 Your numbers look great! Your estradiol is perfect for day 3 (normal is 25-75), and your prolactin is normal too (should be less than 24).
1493378 tn?1288707991 so, there's a tendency that my doctor will cancel this cycle? i'm so worried...tomorrow will be my follow-up check-up with my doctor, but i'm really so confused w/ this result. On my previous ivf treatment, ,my estradiol level was 21 pg/ml, and this cycle it's >20 pg/ml...what was your estradiol level when they cancelled your cycle?
Avatar m tn I recently took some blood tests which show normal levels of IGF-1, Prolactin, Testosterone, Estradiol, but low levels of Luteinizing Hormone and low levels of Follicule Stimulating Hormone. Does this indicate anything?

Avatar f tn Hello, I have been on treatment for PCOS for a year and a half now with Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol birth control pills. My OB/GYN asked for a blood test in order to see how my hormones are doing. While I am content that my testosterone levels are within normal range (it was very high at the moment of diagnosis and I was suffering from many uncomfortable effects) my prolactin levels are 38.25. I understand that this is high but, is it very high? should I be concerned?
398459 tn?1262186144 TSH 1.88, FSH 7.1, prolactin 24.4, and estradiol 46.4. My MD said after the first test that the results indicated decreased ovarian reserve due to the FSH level. After the second test, he said only that even though my FSH level was normal, it "still doesn't bode well for pregnancy". That is all that I was told. Any thoughts? How "abnormal" (or normal) are my results? Will IVF be an option for me? Thanks for the help...
Avatar f tn The hormones he wants to check are prolactin, cortisol and testosterone and my GP has also ordered estradiol as she suspects that checking cortison will not be possible (it has to be done in a hospital and this is unavailable atm due to COVID-19). I will have a blood test next Tuesday, coincidentally during my placebo week (and probably my first day of period).
1222208 tn?1307696161 Hi, my numbers were FSH 7.84 and Estradiol 53.9 in Aug 2009 when first tested. They were FSH 9.7, Estradiol 33, and LH 6.4 when I got tested in Jan of this year. Got pregnant on 2nd month of trying. Found some other results: TSH 1.09, FT4 1.26, and Prolactin 5.63. I'm 42 1/2 now. Good luck to everyone! SSBD!
216278 tn?1308861082 I honestly haven't had most of those tests, but I wouldn't get worked up yet. I do know that the progesterone is definitely high enough to show you ovualted, so that's good! I am going to post a link to a website that someone had shared with me. It gives a lot of different tests and the normal ranges. Obviously though, if one of yours seems off, I would definitely just take this guide with a grain of salt and go back and check with the doctor. http://www.pinelandpress.
Avatar f tn With underdeveloped uterus, it is best that further evaluation be done by a gynecologist or be referred to a reproductive endocrinologist to check all female hormones like FSH, LH, Estradiol, Prolactin TSH. Other tests may be done also to rule out other underlying issues. Treatment may depend on many factors such as the medical history, diagnosis and extent of the condition. Take care and best regards.
Avatar n tn now its been 4 months and nothing. i was just tested last week for FSH, prolactin, TSH, and estradiol and everything came back fine. what should be my next step?
Avatar f tn I am glad to say that your FSH, Estradiol, LH, Prolactin and TSH are all normal for cycle day 3. The Estradiol should be low on cycle day 3 and the FSH, just as you said. If they were high then you would have a problem. You are not close to menopause. I do think you should see a specialist to help you get pregnant . They can do further work up on you as well as your husband. But good news, you are not menopausal.
Avatar n tn Tested for FSH, Estradiol, Progesterone, Prolactin, and TSH. I need help understanding the implications of my results which I think indicate an imbalance. I do not have a doctor yet, I just had the test done and sent to me. I need to know what these #s mean, in terms of our odds for conceiving/treatments. Please respond if you have any info. Thanks. Results for FHS, Estradiol (E2) and progesterone are below. FSH = 1.97 E2 = 174 Progesterone 1.
Avatar n tn I posted the results in a thread in the thyroid forum but I thought it may be useful to post them here too. I have thalassemia minor and I suffer from extreme fatigue and mental fog. I'be been on TRT for several months. 134513 tn?1212965848 if prolactin and thyroid levels are normal and you still have not conceived, best do an evaluation for other causes of infertility, including a semen analysis, HSG to check fallopian tubes and uterus, and FSH and estradiol levels to evaluation ovarian reserve (how many eggs you have left). if all this is normal, and you still are not getting pregnant, seek treatment for unexplained infertility, with clomid and iui's or FSH and iui's. good luck and don't give up hope.
Avatar m tn Could you list your lab ranges for testosterone and prolactin. In general, blood prolactin above 200 ng/ml almost always is diagnostic of a true prolactinoma. High prolacin lowers testosterone. And if your testosterone is also measured in ng/dL that is so low it's ridiculous! Research shows over 95% of euthyroid patients with no thyroid symptoms has a TSH under 2.5mU/L. TSH is of no value with conditions that do not affect the thyroid such as central hypothyroidism and cellular resistance.
