631676 tn?1333718203 New doc took CD3 blood and these are the numbers. She seemed happy with the Estradiol but said FSH was okay/normal since it was under 10. It's not much under 10? Any thoughts?
Avatar f tn In the past three days my beta increased from 186 to 534, but my progesterone and estradiol both dropped. Progesterone went from 93 to 73.3 and estradiol went from 520 to 503. Should I be concerned? I'm 15 days post-transfer. Thanks.
Avatar n tn the menopausal estrogen our body makes and not as friendly an estrogen as Estradiol, which is what our bodies make when we are in our 20's. But the thought is that without ovaries, the body cannot utilize progesterone as was once thought. Examples of this type of estrogen in its bioidentical form include Climara and Vivelle at various doses. Having said that, there is also a school of thought that the only thing needed is Estradiol and very little progesterone..
507564 tn?1243193855 Does anyone know why my bloodwork would show my estradiol at 385 and 900? The first blood work I had done in May it was 900 and now the bloodwork I had done last week showed it was 385? I had the blood done on CD3 both times...what does this mean? i have searched the web and it said on CD3 your estradiol should be under 80, mine is way too high.
Avatar f tn Yes its normal
Avatar n tn t get my a1c down, and tirosint for thyroid disease. My question is this...the prometrium and estradiol are causing my blood sugars to stay high, as well as make me very tired, as well as making me gain weight. I walk briskly at least 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour daily. I watch what I eat, low sugars, etc. I'm very active, watching my 18 month old grand daughter, I'm NOT a couch potatoe. I am feeling so out of balance! Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn The estradiol supresses this mechanism, allowing multiple follicles to mature, and making your chlomid or other drugs a better shot at producing multiple eggs.
Avatar n tn I had a total hystrectomy at 30, now 43 I am going thru Menopause, I have already gained weight in my belly and hormones are crazy, now my doctor wants to put me on Estradiol, will it make me gain more weight?
4128244 tn?1350073611 When did you take the patch off? If it hasn't been very long, it probably won't matter all that much. You want your blood work to reflect what's going on, and if you, routinely, wear the patch, you'd want the blood work to reflect that, so medications can be adjusted adequately. Don't try to jockey the results or you won't get proper medications/dosages.
Avatar f tn Norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol – Significantly impacted severity and duration of migraines, but provides no protection against other PMS symptoms and cause me to be a rageful, emotionally insane person for 3 days.
20719280 tn?1504576414 My doctor called it orthostatic hypotension, which made sense. My blood pressure was low (~80/50) and my doctor suggested I stop taking one of my medications (spironolactone 100 mg). That did seem to increase my blood pressure some, it testing at 120/70 last time it was checked, but the problem has persisted. Lately (about a month ago) it's gotten worse and more persistent, now coupled with shortness of breath.
Avatar f tn I have relatively no risk for heart disease, no family history and no high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or anything else that might raise my risk. I'm just wondering if I should be concerned.
Avatar n tn I thought about testosterone replacement but with estradiol so high I wonder if I could have an aromatase deficiency and increase my testerone would increase my estradiol. I read about aromatase inhibitors which may be the answer. I should say that I'm in my mid 30s, obviously male, and rather overweight. Could you please tell me how bad or how out of range my estradiol level is?
787406 tn?1339203183 t have high blood pressure, my blood pressure runs 110/70 constantly. Avatar f tn s office- I had my day 3 blood work redone last week and just got the results- this is odd and she thinks my ovarian cysts have thrown off my nbrs and are interferring with stuff. My FSH is 1.6- yes 1.6. That doesnt sound right, unless there was a mistake at the lab. My AMH is .16.. that is low. She said after I get my laproscropy done we need to go to injectables. FSH and AMH usually go hand in hand, and the nurse commented that my last FSH of 10 isnt really congruent with my very low AMH.
Avatar m tn Hi Guys, i'm basically 32, morbidly Obese, Height 5'7''/67inches, Weight 245 Pounds/110KG, Finally I went to see a renowned Endocrinologist of my City, he suggested me to do couple of blood tests, results are as below: ➢ Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Test for Diabetes (Blood glucose) – 6.3 nmol/L = eAG of 134 ➢ 2-Hour Insulin Glucose Challenge Test Results: CPS-2HOURS (Cohas) = 5.06nmol/L Insulin (2HOURS) = >2089 pmol/L ➢ Insulin1 – 370 pmol/L ➢ CPS = 2.
Avatar m tn I recently took some blood tests which show normal levels of IGF-1, Prolactin, Testosterone, Estradiol, but low levels of Luteinizing Hormone and low levels of Follicule Stimulating Hormone. Does this indicate anything?
7649183 tn?1393014236 014 mg/day). The Vivelle-dot is applied twice/weekly and contains .39 mg estradiol, which is .78 mg estradiol/week which is around .11 mg/day (data says .025 mg/day). This is what is confusing me. According to my calculations, Menostar delivers .14 mg/day and Viville-dot delivers .11 mg/day (which is less than Menostar). That's not what the data says though, but when I do the calculations, I come out with different answers.
1386249 tn?1303092096 I need some feedback on my hormone levels since this hormone testing is new to me. I haven't heard from my OB, but this is what my Progesterone and Estradiol levels are according to my family doc: tell me what you think ON CD10 taken February 24 Progesterone level is 0.7 Estradiol level is 1.71 What this means...I have absolutely no clue. I tried reading on it, and it seems as if I should not have tested on CD10. I should have tested on CD 3....is this correct?
