I hardly have words for the sadness and disgust I felt when watching just a portion of that show. I simply couldn't make it through it. Every woman in the audience looked horrified and most were crying. I saw Oprah hold up a 'manual' that can be downloaded on line on how to introduce your infant to this kind of abuse so that they get used to it ... I suppose that's why. The pages and pages of ideas and steps and tips ... I nearly threw the remote against the wall.

I have no respect for any doctor that will stand up and call his peers quacks.!! He spent entirely too much time hating on Oprah when he could have been maybe trying to find a cure to help those of us who are in chronic pain daily. Or find out why cancer runs rampant, or why those of us who have Fibromyalgia suffer daily with a disease that can't be seen. Ok, rant over I promise.

I read somewhere else that Oprah said on a more recent show that she no longer has problems with her thyroid (not sure how that came about). With that, she's probably not likely to be interested in doing anything more on thyroid. Actually, I think Oprah was experiencing yet another symptom of an eating disorder. That being: find something tangible wrong with me so I don't have to admit my eating has gotten out of control again; if that doesn't work out, dismiss it.

Dr. Oz is on now and Oprah is talking about her thyroid and the Cleveland Clinic.

i'm gonna be on oprah. they are going to have me on the show via sattellite next thursday. i dont know when it will air. the subject is on child masterbation you guys. for those who are curious, you should watch. the show will be about talking to your kids about sex. i have written before about child masterbation in this forum i think. i had a big problem with it. i wrote to oprah in december and got a call from the producer today about being on the show.

Did anyone catch the Oprah show today? It was aswesome. Montel Williams, Magic Johnson, Scott Hamilton and Fran Dreschler all spoke about the day they received their diagnosis-MS, cancer, HIV.....and how they fought. Very inspiring and uplifting. But if she is at "ideal" level, why take her completely off med? Isn't that just going to make her go hypo again? Or do I not understand this disorder as well as I thought I did?

HI i Never been big on the show they dont show addiction for the monster it is.....I have seen people with 3 days clean off heroin on that show seam fine.......can you say subonex??? they dont tell you that nor the people watching I think they give a rather distorted view of just how sick someone gets when they kick the show is a fasid....not my cup of tea if your going to show it then show just how sick people get and stay sick noone is well in 4 days as there show depicts just my 2 cents......

I have a redness, browness, little bit rash, and weird looking wrinkles/scales near the border of my lips. The scales and wrinkles are also very flat and smooth, while the normal parts are puffy and fuller as usual and normal. The middle of my lips are not as affected, and the inside of my mouth either.. it is just the outer courners that have been affected. I have no clue what this is do you think it is.. A.) One of the girls here who won't watch TB cause she says it's "stupid" (but has never seen it) so the guy who plays Alcide on a talk show the other day. Well.....once she saw him she fell in love. You know it is funny because Robin McGraw (Dr. Phil's wife) had an entire show on bio-identical hormones and yet none of the MedHelp physicians or Newsweek is criticizing her.
