Avatar n tn After starting these medications (about 3-4 months ago), I noticed no difference whatsoever in my erectile/urinary problems...at least no change that was sudden enough to notice. Come to think of it, the frequent urination has been a problem for longer than 6 months. I mentioned this at my physical. He thought it was related to the stress I was experiencing at the time. The urinary problems I described earlier (except for the shrunken penis, and loss of sexual desire) come and go.

Typically they fail to contemplate that B12 deficiency may be causing or or contributing to these problems.

Avatar n tn Erectile dysfunction at your age would be extremely rare and like your doctor said, it tends to be psychological. Your mind has a lot of power over what happens to your body physically. If you feel nervous at all, upset, stressed out, etc all of this can affect erections and cause you to lose it. There really isn't a quick fix, but it'd be good to try to think about what else may be going on in your life.
