Common Questions and Answers about Epipen online training

epipen

Avatar m tn ve been running out of the paste and the only place I can find aclivor is on online pharmacies from Mexico. I was just wondering if ere was a name for this and what keywords I should be searching for in American online pharmacies because I really can't afford a doctor's visit to see what I'm allergic to and I have an epipen from my shellfish allergy.
Avatar n tn m also allergic to several medications (antibiotics) and my doctor said I might need an epipen when I take them to keep me alive until I get to a hospital. Just about all antibiotics close my throat. But I thought epipens contained epiphenephrine, and was told by a friend that it's bad for those with a heart arrhythmia. Has anyone here with PVCs had to use an epipen for an anaphlactic shock reaction, and if so, was it safe for the heart? Thanks.
Avatar f tn This weekend was horrible, I had two reaction to the water, on friday it was with rain, and had to give me 2 shoots of Epipen, and than I was better but shaking badly from the Epipen, and yesturday just by sweat I did a reaction and again the Epipen but just once, and I didnt even went to the hospital after, his that dangerous if I dont go???? And his it dangerous I have to many shoots?????
Avatar n tn Hello I have severe reactions from insect stings especially bee stings. Its so bad that 1 or 2 stings will put me into anaphylactic shock. I have over 5000+ PVC's a day and the docs say it is a supposed benign condition. (which I do not believe). My wife has never had a pvc or palpitations. Anyways, I have to carry around a epipen everywhere I go. Last year I was working in my back yard and was stung twice, once in the face under the eye and once in my arm.
Avatar n tn Hi, welcome to the forum, as such epipen are not available yet. Epipen delivers a measured dose of epinephrine (also known as adrenaline) using autoinjector technology, most frequently for the treatment of acute allergic reactions to avoid or treat the onset of anaphylactic shock. In certain cases it can be used to stop local bleeding. Alternatively, the same drug can be given by the local health care provider or you need to go to emergency department.
410850 tn?1229178711 Excellent news!!! I knew you could do it!! It is different though, doing the first one all by yourself at home, isn't it? And just think, only a week ago you couldn't imagine doing one injection! Hope you continue to feel light sx...
Avatar f tn re more likely to actually get a job from require at least a little bit in person, because they need hands-on training. Even if you find a program that will do online only, many employers will not hire you from all-online because you are missing that experience. Some programs that should be OK online only: paralegal, psychology, business, computer science and information technology. Hope that helps you get started.
645800 tn?1466860955 I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.
Avatar n tn I was rushed to emergency, given benedryl and sent home 4 hours later. I got an Epipen for I was told, although rare, that I could have a secondary reaction within the next week. Sure enough November 5 I had a second reaction (bi-phasic reaction). I was given the epipen by my mother for I passed out and couldn't give it myself. Back to the hospital.
Avatar f tn You may need an Epipen if it becomes more severe but in the meantime see a physician and buy some Benadryl.
Avatar f tn I have carried an epipen for the last 11 years for my son and Thank God we have not had to use it. But I was wondering if anyone did have an experience like this and had to use an epipen. Or if you have any information on urticaria pigmentosa? ( I know alot about it but I always would like to know more. Please share any information you may have or experiences you incountered.
Avatar f tn Yes, I take Rebif as well and I don't have any injection site problems. I just started 3 weeks ago though. But I take it at night right before I go to sleep. If I do it during the day, I get realllllllly sleepy. Hope everything turns out ok!
Avatar f tn Personally I like Smart recovery because its based on CBT and REBT... cognitive behavioral training and rational emotive behavioral training. Their 4 point program teaches. 1) Building and Maintaining Motivation 2) Coping with Urges 3) Managing Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors 4) Living a Balanced Life. Not only are there online and Face to Face meetings but the online community is a SOLID support system.
20451547 tn?1498215245 I have been having panic attacks ever since early 2015 when I was first ever stang by a wasp and went into anaphylactic shock.(the er doctor said I am allergic to bees/wasps/hornets venom. I am like Idc I can't breath stab me! ) I almost died that day, and now I have been having panic attacks almost every other day.
645800 tn?1466860955 With the talk of EpiPen in Michelle's post earlier today it got me thinking about my problem with needles and other self infecting skin damage devices. I am hoping that maybe someone will have some ideas or at least where to look for help with this. My problem isn't the normal fear of needles. I can get shot or blood drawn with no problems. Well except I have to be able to watch what is going on.If I can't see it happening I will pass out.
1197086 tn?1265117044 This is followed by aggressive gait training exercises at about 10 weeks following the injury repair leading toward activity specific maneuvers and a return to activities at 4-6 months. Your recovery is largely dependent on the quality of the rehabilitation program, your motivation and focus, and your post injury activity level. This is sufficient and with time you will gain enough strength. Do not try too many things during the initial 6 months. Take care!
333672 tn?1273792789 I have not tried this, but apparently there are new online brain-training games at http://www.mymsmyway.com/ (middle of page under what's new) that were developed by "an alliance of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, Microsoft, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society" (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/157707.php).

Avatar m tn I now carry an epipen but would really like to track down the food that caused me to go into shock. Has anyone had such a reaction to chives or green onions without being allergic to other foods in that family? Thanks for any help you can give me.
709686 tn?1277432159 I am definitely allergic to nightshades. I've been suffering from migraines, fatigue and digestive issues for years and recently started having tongue and throat swelling from eating them. Since I've cut them from my diet, the symptoms have all gone away. It's worth trying an elimination of them for a couple weeks and see. I have seen an allergist about it and she said it's uncommon, but not rare.
Avatar f tn it gives you the option to pick a state, yet is completely online, training and actual work..
Avatar m tn Does anyone know if online testing company's are legitimate. I tested with same day testing .com. They sent me to labcorp for my test. Seems leg but just want others opinions.
203342 tn?1328737207 Totally safe and great for the cold weather seasons. If you cannot find it in stores then look online or go to your local Salon and ask about it. If they dont carry it, ask them to order it for you. Typically, any good salon will.
