m also allergic to several medications (antibiotics) and my doctor said I might need an epipen when I take them to keep me alive until I get to a hospital. Just about all antibiotics close my throat. But I thought epipens contained epiphenephrine, and was told by a friend that it's bad for those with a heart arrhythmia. Has anyone here with PVCs had to use an epipen for an anaphlactic shock reaction, and if so, was it safe for the heart? Thanks.

This weekend was horrible, I had two reaction to the water, on friday it was with rain, and had to give me 2 shoots of Epipen, and than I was better but shaking badly from the Epipen, and yesturday just by sweat I did a reaction and again the Epipen but just once, and I didnt even went to the hospital after, his that dangerous if I dont go???? And his it dangerous I have to many shoots?????

Hello I have severe reactions from insect stings especially bee stings. Its so bad that 1 or 2 stings will put me into anaphylactic shock. I have over 5000+ PVC's a day and the docs say it is a supposed benign condition. (which I do not believe). My wife has never had a pvc or palpitations. Anyways, I have to carry around a epipen everywhere I go. Last year I was working in my back yard and was stung twice, once in the face under the eye and once in my arm.

I'm having a little girl!! Baby number 3 for us! My husbands grandmother is named Naomi and her daughter, his aunt is also Naomi. Guess what? He found a a Naomi to marry, me!!!! I have always loved my name and seeing it as a family name on his side we decided our baby girls name will be Naomi as well. You have nooo idea how many people say, "like Naomi Jr"? No she won't be a Jr different middle name then me and not my maiden name.

I wouldn't want a Jr but that is just my preference. Luckily my husband doesn't like the Jr idea either so it worked out well.

However we just found out that one of my 3 children have Chiari. I had asked for my daughter to be referred to John Hopkins as I had an awesome experience there. (They specialize in Chiari) However, the doctor's office called me today and stated that they won't accept my insurance, so they asked if they could refer her to Dr. Jane Jr at UVA Pediatric Neurosugery, they accept my insurance. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with him?

My baby boy would be a jr. His name was decided before I even knew if he was a boy or girl. We decided that if it was a boy he'd name if ft as and if it was a girl I would. And whoever didn't get to will name the 2nd child if & when we have one. I really wish I never considered it because I've found done awesome names. & even with my 2nd it will probably still have his initials.

I have mixed feelings on it. I do agree that it would be a burn to have your son have your ex's name and spend most of his time with you. And he WiLL have his last name. But, I also think that men connecting to their children especially when the parents aren't together is essential and that JR> could make them both feel close to one another. That's pretty valuable. I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.

I am complaining for the last 4 1/2 years of no energy, very sluggish metabolism, gaining weight, my allergies tripled, I have to carry epipen now, plus I am very easily irritated. I am a single parent of two little children. The third doctor put me on Synthroid 0.05m, and I felt great right away, my energy, good mood and libido was back. Even my children said I am a better mom on pills.
