I had to get stitches last night, and was given 5-6 shots of epinephrine and lidocane. I told the intake nurse I was taking synthroid (which I presume implies thyroid problems). But it sounds like from what you are saying that it doesn't block the emission of epinephrine, just the action it takes- I'd suggest if you don't hear quickly from your doctor you consult a knowledgeable pharmacist for their opinion.
I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage the day that I had a mole removed at my dermatologist. They used Epinephrine and Xylocaine and when we received the autopsy report it revealed that my baby was perfectly normal and healthy without chromosonal issues prior to him dieing in my womb that day. Hi there---- my son has sensory integration disorder and tactile defensiveness---- doesn't like his hair cut and hates to have his teeth cleaned. Sadly, he also got a cavity. We use a rotating brush and good toothpaste and brush often. He doesn't love any of this. And flossing is something that he is resistant to. So, he got a cavity.
Due to his sensitve nature, he had this type of dental work done. He was put completely out.
If I may, let me comment from the professional side. I think I can speak from a qualified point of view having learned the Neuromuscular techniques. The most important aspect of any treatment is a proper diagnosis. The NM techniques are intended to reduce muscle tension/spasm as a means of reducing pain and finding the correct 'alignment' of the TMJ. It can be effective, but if the dentist uses this technique exclusively I would be cautious.

So far I always got eye drops without epinephrine/or something equal to epinephrine, but this last eye doctor did not want to use any drops at all. He examined my eyes without dialating them.

It is a serotonin and nor epinephrine reuptake inhibitor. The name of the neurotransmitter is nor epinephrine it is different from epinephrine.

Dentist doesn't mind at all and I've never had any problems. It doesn't last as long but if you start to feel anything while they are working the dentist will just give you more. The dentist prescribed Halcyon (which I took 1 hour before the appointment) saying it will relax me and make numbing easier and the non-epinephrine local anesthetic last longer. He gave me 2 shots of local on each side.
Afterwards, I felt slight pain at one of the injection places, no pain anywhere else. The next day, my face was swollen, and I still had just the slight pain from one of the injections. The swelling was just of the skin of my face, not inside my mouth, not on my lips.
Since the dead teeth skip and are not together they are worried about how it will look so recommending replacing all four teeth with crowns. Is this what you would recommend?
10 and 155lbs. I was very active several years ago and raced motocross for years. I went to my family doctor and she check my thyroid. Those results came back good. So I asked her to check my epinephrine levels because it almost seems like i have too much adrenaline. Those results cam back slightly high so she referred me to an endocrinologist. She also put me on 50mg of metoprolol (beta blocker).
Individual crowns are made differently than crowns that are part of a bridge. the fact that your dentistry was toyed with and adjusted after it was finished in my opinion makes it more prone to failure after it is permanently cemented. For example, it's been in the glazing oven at least one extra time, and it was cut after it was completed---this creates the liklihodd of microfracture in the porcelain. these two things weaken the restorations..
